Don't feel to bad about how long it took you to post this last chapter, it's always worth the wait! Yours is one of the few stories that when it's updated, it is that little thrill where you mentally go 'yay!'. Im' just so happy you are still writing and have not given up on it. It is one of the more unique, and of course, well written stories out there, and one of my personal favorites. I think it is that everything from the characterization, the settings, and your style work seamlessly togeather to make for a captivating read. I've always been one of those people that when I find a good novel, I read it cover to cover, even if that means staying up 'til dawn. I would do the same thing with this. Just keep writing is all I ask.

...oh, the TENSION!! I LOVE it! You're soooo good at it! ^_~

I KNEW Kagome was going to beat Miroku (with the help of Inu and Shippo of course). Great chapter. I think it went pretty smoothly. I started laughing right around the part where Miroku stops giving her advice, and there were a few other parts that had me chuckling to myself. Another scene in the kitchen with tension between the two...and the magic that the first snow of the winter can bring...I sat here and read all the way through and then realized at the end, while my eyes were burning and tearing up, that I hadn't blinked in a very long time ^_^ Every new chapter makes me so curious about their past I almost can't stand it -which really shows how great of a writer you are, keeping your readers hooked on every word.

Ew, writer's block. If you ever do find it, let me know...I want to get a few kicks in myself ^_^

I was so H-A-P-P-Y to see your update! (Skips gleefully around the room)! I really like the new chapter. You described fine details so well, that I felt like I was in the room with them, when they were having hot chocolate (imagines the slow, wafting steam slowly rising from a cup of cocoa, with rich aroma). It really added to the story. The tension between InuYasha and Kagome is so dynamic with your descriptions. The only criticism I can offer is that I saw a couple of spelling errors. (Not that moi should point anyone's mistakes but her own). I also liked the way you are writing Shippo; very similar to his anime character, but maybe a bit smarter. His conniving (spelled correctly?) is adding alot to the InuYasha/Kagome angst. I think you should keep it in the plot line. Ditto those thoughts about Shippo in regards to Miroku. They make good partners in crime/LOL. I have a feeling that Sango will join this crew at some point. We all know that Miroku has to grope someone, and InuYasha is not going to share Kagome. That makes for good story telling! Keep up the wonderful work and I hope we read you soon. Cynbad146

I do like this very much. Your style is very pleasant and you do seem to be building up the tension a good deal. You may want to have an actual event (like a disasterous snowstorm) to take up the time while we wait for either of our lovebirds to make a move. I sure do know about being hit by life in the head boadside, but such a plot device can keep you and others amused while you think.

Hi! I must say that I really like your story. It certainly is different than others that have taken place in modern times with the characters that we love. You have woven a little mystery into the story. Who is Kagome and were did she come from, who shot her and why. Why is it a secret about Inuyasha and Miroku's past. Who is looking for Inuyasha? Are you going to have Koga,Sango and Sesshomaru enter the picture anytime soon. Are you going to have Sango as Kagome's close friend, who has been worried and trying to find her, etc. Anyway, good story and please don't abandon it. I would like to see how things turn out.

Wow! I just finished reading the whole thing. And I have to say you are an exceptional writer! You have an awesome way of describing things and how the characters are feeling. This is really good so far and it is a rarity that I find an IY fic THIS good. Lately I've been reading just RK fics but this one caught my intrest and I just had to read it. It took me a while but I finally finished. I like the fact that you have long chapters and it's very rare if I get bored or lost while reading. So I'm hoping the next update is soon. I'm hoping to see what happens with the move InuYahsa suggested for the game of shogi.

Until next update and good job!!

Hey, I have seen this story before but at first it didn't catch my attention... until now. To be honest I don't know why, cuz this story is really good. In spite of being an AU (which usually are not that good), Inu & the gang seem to be more in character, the setting. It's strange but read this story and keep thinking it's the feudal era o_O but I love it! Also the plot, as I can tell, it's very good (and intriguing). I have a slight idea the one behind Kagome's accident is Naraku, tho I can't begin to imagine why he would do that.... and I wonder if Sango would make an appereance and when it would be...
Ha! This story def is going to my recommended list! Please update soon, your story rocks!
