Goodness!  That was so sweet!  I could see Sesshoumaru as the nervous bridegroom as well as the attentive husband.  Rin is just the picture of innocence!  It's so cool!

I have one question.   Why weren't there any children in either marriages?  Was it that Kagome and Rin were not really compatible with their mates?  Or did Sesshoumaru and InuYasha withhold their seeds, out of fear their mates wouldn't survive?  I have been wondering about this for awhile now.

    This was truly awesome!

Yes, it was very sad!  Rin's death was heartbreakingheartbreaking, and you could actually FEEL Sesshoumaru's sadness.  The death of his ward turned wife after so many years being with each other.  However, there was a feeling of comfort here.

Sesshoumaru got to say goodbye.  To meme, having that moment together is pivotal!  I'm sure Rin's last words of love and encouragement for HIS future kept him going, until it was time for him to collect his little brother after the loss of Kagome.

It was a sad moment in their lives, but the flowers that grew on the spot where their home was.  Rin's promise that all will be well in the end!

AWESOMENESS ACHIEVED here!   This was a good insight into the beginning of Sesshoumaru and InuYasha's romance!  I loved it!  I'm so looking forward to reading your next side story, as well as EU-Keiko!  Until then...

Oh my dear sweet Rin!  Somethings are not as ''farfetched' as you think!  LOL!  And, if InuYasha knew then what he would know in a few short centuries, I don't think he'd be laughing!

I bet it was because of what Kagome told her about boys love and her not wanting the brothers to be alone, is what put the idea that Sesshoumaru should mate InuYasha in Rin's head.  I think both women knew something their hubbies didn't!  LOL!

    Onto the next chapter!
