That was so freakin AWEsome! I loved your storyline, and Kimi is so cute! I do hope she is in the sequel. *pathetic, hopeful look* Anyway, great fic. One of the best I've read. Keep up the great work. Your author dialogues were hilarious, by the way. Again, awesome. I look forward to the sequel.

I don't often review, but this, despite most characters being out of character, was worth it. Kimi is a wonderful addition; I get the feeling future stories may center on her. As a critique, there was quite a bit of confusion for "they're" versus "there," and "whether" and "weather." I'm a stickler for spelling, but your fic was well written enough that it didn't bother me as much as it normally would. Very well done. You did capture Inuyasha fairly well, and you have a strong plot. Just to be helpful, one writer to another, if you need a beta, or even a second beta, for spelling and grammar, I don't mind. Other than those two technical items, you write very well. Looking forward to more.

Whew. That was a trip. ^_~

I just recently finished watching Inuyasha, and the last few episodes and the third movie somehow instilled a fetish for Sesshoumaru/Older!Rin in me...but unfortunately, good stories with this pairing seem to be extremely hard to find. *LOL* You have no idea how happy I was to finally stumble across your story, after hours of searching. And damn, was this story good. A total emotional roller coaster, with flawless characterization, fascinating OCs (I don't easily go for OCs!), a heart-wrenching plot, and of course, great lemons. ;P Thank you very much for hours of pleasure.

I agree with some of the reviewers that there were aspects of the story that were problematic (like the reviewer who mentioned the improbability of Rin's escape)---particularly, the number of typos/spelling errors was distracting. Some examples that pop to mind are your constant use of "peruse" when you clearly mean "pursue", and your frequent confusion of "then" with "than". Nonetheless, the story was totally fantastic, far above my expectations (after having read several not so stellar Sess/Rin stories before this one...-_-). I enjoyed it thoroughly; couldn't tear myself away. ;P Now the only problem is that I have to wait for the sequel...*groan* (That's a not so subtle encouragement to get working on it ASAP, BTW. *LOL*)

Anyway, in short: this was fabulous! Thank you for your efforts in piecing together this wonderful story! ^_^

Pretty good fanfic. Lots of romance and lemons, good sex scenes. Paticularly liked Miroku having dozens of kids, seems like exaclty his fate. Overall rather well done. Your guess at how Naraku would be destroyed was pretty good too.

However I do have a few complaints.
    1) Sesshoumaru forgiving Lady Alina and her general. It just didn't seem him. He always struck me as more the type to fip hearts out on a whim. I can't see him being even remotely reasonable about their offense. I mean, even if killing her would mean war, Sesshoumaru would likely happily take the entire Cat demon tribe on by himself, fully expecting to win, and would probably do just that. And their "punishment" was really soft.
    2) Rin's escape, I mean Inuyasha is a half demon and he can run faster then a horse, and sent people from miles away. Sesshoumaru and his most elite trackers ought to be able to catch up with a mortal on a horse. It really wasn't a plausible escape. I might have excepted somthing like say, Ah-Un flying Rin off (with the expalnation that he can fly faster than any other Youkai can follow) setting her down in a remote location, and then leaving her behind to create false leads, or somthing like that. But I have a hard time believing a human could escape from the worlds strongest demonlord that easily.
    3) A number of people notice Sesshoumaru's inner turmoil, yet he is the king of outward calm. I can accept Rin noticing it, but the others is kinda a stretch.

Besides that though, it was a very good fanfic, that showed alot of effort put into it.

Lovely story. The only thing that annoyed me was your continual usage of 'peruse' instead of 'persue.' One of those annoying spelling mistakes that spellcheck refuses to catch, I know, but I thought I'd tell you since it's almost impossible to catch such things in your own work. Ta.

Fairia, I just finished the final chapter and epilouge and wow. I am going to start by just telling you how impressed I am by your word smithing in this story overall, but especially in the last chapter. The way you crafted the sentences as well as the way you constructed the architecture of this chapter was magnificent. Throughout this fiction you developed and created many interesting characters, but I really appreciated the way you limited the main action to those who, in my opinion, were the most important. While at the same time giving a nod to all the other characters so they didn't just seem abandoned. Naturally, I have loved Atoki consistently through this journey, and I think his presence in this ending chapter was important because he was so pivotal in the first chapters. Also, the inclusion of Kohaku was very important because of how close he had become to Rin in the last year. But I was especially pleased that the bulk of this chapter focused on Rin and Sesshoumaru, both seperately and together. I think their "talk" through the mindlink was a nice touch earlier in the chapter and allowed Rin to think about how some of this was her fault too for not allowing herself to love fully. Granted, I don't think either of them is really at "fault," but it was clear they each had things they needed to work out for themselves, and I liked the way you explained that and showed them making progress without tying everything up tightly. This was a story about life and life doesn't simply end at the end of a page, and I think you were able to display that for the reader. There is a sense that their life together is just beginning. Oh, I also loved Kimi's interaction with Sesshoumaru. If I remember correctly she is going to be in the sequel? I think it was a nice set up for the depth of her character. I also really loved the way Sesshoumaru said he wasn't worthy of Rin, but that he did deserve to hear that from her. It was very poignant. Another favorite place was at the end when Sesshoumaru offered to let Rin dissolve the mating if she so chose. I think this was very reminicent of the time Sesshoumaru knocked out the monks and told her she could choose to follow him. I believe you made this parallel on purpose, but either way I thought it was a nice tie in. All in all, I would say it was a banner ending for your first fanfic.

I love this story. You are a one of the choosen few authors that will take the time to read their work. They are works out there I will not waste my time to
read, but I will not write nasty reviews. I do not know what people want read in a story, but if they do not like your story, then they should write their own damn stories. I really dislike how they can put their two-cent on your work, but do not give sound advice on how to improve. Just ignore those fools and tell them get their head out of their @ss and leave you alone. I love your story honey. Keep writing.

After reading all the turmoil, the angst, the ending was lackluster. Where was Sesshoumaru's reunion with his son? To leave an ending that short, unfulfilling is a travesty and shows the true meaning of the story was lost somewhere in the middle and the half assed attempt at an ending is so disrespectful to readers who took time to read this crap.
