I love this story. The character development is incredable. They jump right out of the page at you and act out the scene right in front of you eyes. You're a terrific writer. The emotions embodied through dialoge and body langauge is masterfully done. I love how Yukio is so torn up about a new mate. I can't wait until the next chapter comes out!

I've been resigned to waiting patiently until something new came along, and you surprised me--I didn't expect this nearly this soon. Of course, once I found it, I read both parts in one sitting, and think that it's every as as good as "The Lucky Ones" itself. This one seems to have a little more of a mystery feel to it, and there are a lot of questions I'm dying to have answered: Who was responsible for the howl in the night in Arizona? Will Coyote be found? Will Sweet Wind (I think that was her name) take her pup back? Why didn't Coyote claim his family? And, of course, what's going to happen with Yukio and Emma? I can hardly wait! I loved the t-shirt about dropping the house on the sister--I'm always using that comment for women who give me a hard time (lol)! Thanks again for something to look forward to!

Wonderful!! I am a huge fan of "The Lucky Ones" and when I saw this story, a continuation of sorts, I became so pumped! Wonderful beginning ~ the Native Americans and their culture colliding with the Youkai/Hanyou one is very intriguing. Can't wait to see more!! And the comment about Sesshomaru trying to own everything ~ LOL!!! I can SO totally see Sesshoumaru being completely at home in the business world ~ must seem just like home, aquiring power, building an empire, crushing the weak and getting to tell almost everybwhatwhat to do. I like Yukio saying the he fully expects his Uncle to eventually own everything ~ ROFL! Scarily, I agree. Now I am wondering why the great Western Lord Sesshomaru doesn't have any children of him own ~ isn't continuing the bloodlines super-important now? So I would think that Sesshomaru, in that ruthless and and efficient manner of his, would guarentee that his father's great bloodline doesn't die out with him and Inuyasha. And I would think that Rin would want a child too, Sesshomaru couldn't have rubbed off on her That much! LOL! Brilliant story ~ a wonderful continuation of a wonderful epic.

And so the story continues. Do you plan on making Emma and Yukio the focus of this story? I don't know if I like the idea or not. A part of me kinda thinks Yukio would go well with a supernatural being of sorts or another unknown miko and a part of me really likes the idea of him finally moving on. But all in all, I can't wait until they get to Arizona. I really liked your inclusion of the whole 9/11 ordeal and the Canadian flare you add into the story. Keep it up. See you next installment.

This is a lovely story. It weaves in perfectly with The Lucky Ones, and continues the story so well. I love the Yukio back story, as well as the interaction between Kagome and Yukio. I'm also happy to see the Ian is doing so well. Glad to have the characters back for more!
