This fic is so sad... I hope they'll work everything out in a certain moment, I'll love to see them happy. Miroku's curse was something unexpected, very original and plainly cruel. I do like how you take every character to their limits just to burst in anger and lash at the others, those are really unexploited sides of their personalities.

    Continue with the great work!

I ONLY HOPE THAT THE ENDING ISN'T TOTALLY ANGST FILLED, I'M NOT ASKING FOR A AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER FAIRYTALE ENDING, JUST NOT ONE THAT LEAVES YOU WANTING TO SLIT YOUR WRISTS BECAUSE YOUR SO DEPRESSED, LOL! ANYWAY I REALLY LOVE THIS FIC, AND DO WE EVER SEE THE OTHER INU GANG AGAIN OR HAS THEIR TIME PASSED? ALSO HOW COME SHE DOESN'T GET PREGNANT, DO WE JUST PRESUME SHE TAKES THE PILL, AND DOES HER MUM KNOW ABOUT HER AND INUYASHA AT ALL. BUT I LOVE THEIR SARCASTIC COMMENTS TO EACH OTHER, AND KAGOME'S NEW PERSONALITY, LOL!

wow. this is...wow. so much drama. at first, i was like, wow, this is really good smut, then it became serious drama and so well written that i've stayed up till 3:30am reading it (and i have papers to write tomorrow). ....very, VERY well done!!! BravO!!! i hope for happy endings for all, but i see the storm clouds. poor miro and his stump. my only thought though is that wouldn't Kagome of been able to bring him back medicine or ointments to stop his arm from 'rotting'? i guess if he was so disuaded from all, he wouldnt' have used it anyway. just a thought. a good story, very well done.

Wow. This is the word the went across my mind as I began reading this fic. I love your style, it just leaves me out of breath and I wanted to review, but instead of leaving one review for each and every chapter, I decided to put all the reviews for every chapter into one. Thank-you for writing such a great fic, it has been most inspiring. Actually I think my new fic Between Now and Then was written because of this great fic. I'll shut-up and stop rambling now so I can review.

Chapter 1: This chapter was definitely enjoyable, funny, yet dynamic at the same time. I find it most intriguing to see Kagome out-going instead of the shrinking violet that most author's usually portray her as, i.e. myself. I love Inuyasha's attitude as well, carefree and ye he still holds the essence of being... well, Inuyasha. He's still the bad boy that most would usually write him as, and yet, I still see him as a shy, innocent child, - well not really a child, but a boy - in the anime, not really understanding what's going on around him. Although, I like Kagome's character very much because she is simply bold, very bold, not afraid to take ahold of what she wants and she wants Inuyasha. It's an interesting twist because it makes a person realize that not everyone is as innocent as they usually seem. I also love Ayumi's character, I find her to be a trip and I love the way you ended this chapter. It was good to know Kagome could still blush, because Kagome, although quite bold, can also be shy as well. This chapter was absolutely perfect!

Chapter 2: I can see the first chapter was just a teaser, this chapter was about setting the stage and let everything run wild. I really like the way this started, showing how Kagome got late to class, why she flushed, yet relaxed at the same time. I saw quite a few spelling errors in this chapter as well, but it wasn't bad enough because I could still understand it. I love Inuyasha's dominant, yet rough attitude, and at the same time he can be so ferocious, so delectable. The lemon that you provided was so vivid and detailed, I had a mental image, kind of wished--- wait that's not true. I wished I was in Kagome's place. I like the way you stretched out the lemon though, making it agoninzingly painfully slow, making me want to read even more faster, yet slowly at the same time, not wanting to miss any of the good parts - which was the whole thing - at all.

Inuyasha is very, very rough when dominating Kagome, and yet I can see he doesn't want to hurt her, he wants to take her and yet show her that he's the alpha-male and yet I can see trouble brewing ahead, after all this is Inuyasha we're talking about. I can also see Kagome is not as innocent as she seems to be, actually her character is a very sensual one, your writing really brought this chapter to life. The ending of this chapter was thrilling, very enticing, and I realize I cannot stop reading this, nor do I want to. Great job, you've really captivated my attention!

Chapter 3: I still love Ayumi's character and I loved the little details you threw in there about her family and whatnot, yet I can also see, she is able to see through Kagome. To see behind the mask she's hid behind, and Kagome is uncomfortable with it because I think she feels like she's never actually had someone see behind the real her, except for Inuyasha of course, but then Inuyasha doesn't know everything about Kagome as well, now does he?

If he doesn't love you, why are you sleeping with him?

Although Ayumi doesn't fully see through Kagome, she's smart and it's obvious, she cares deeply for her friend. Kagome doesn't like the fact that Ayumi was able to see something within her because it frightened her. Perhaps it's because she doesn't even know what to call it herself, she feels insecure. The question, seeping into Kagome's mind makes her think, makes her want to know about her relationship between her/Inuyasha, only to have her realize that she doesn't even know what their relationship is all about.

What is it even based on?

    Sex?

    Lonliness?

    Despair?

Two people coming together, just to be together?

Inuyasha is obviously a sensitive topic for Kagome, but even so, I can also see that she's realizing she's exactly like Inuyasha. Has the same attitude, temper, and she even talks like him. I liked the way you threw in the threesome topic as well, I think this is what made Kagome relax and let all the tension seep away from her body. I hadn't even reached the end when I noticed Inuyasha found the lace panties, and I knew there was a lemon up ahead, along with trouble, when Kagome came her room and found Inuyasha with her lace panties; Kagome seemed mortified, and yet strangely aroused at the same time. Now, I see it, you've finally added in how Inuyasha used to be shy but now grew bold, is this because of a certain school girl? When Inuyasha said Keh I'm not here to talk I knew something was going to go and blow up in his face. I just knew and I was right.

Your lemons are dark, very dark, and very explicit. Yet, even through their sex, they're talking to one another, talking through raw, bloody emotions, emotions that I suppose are beneath the surface of their relationship.

I got what I came for - Ouch, I felt that. Poor Kagome, I have a feeling that in the next chapter she's going to do a lot more thinking about her relationship with Inuyasha, if she can even call it that. Inuyasha was cruel. What he said was very, very cruel, yet I can also see, he just shot his mouth off, he wasn't really thinking. That much was obvious, but I know, to Kagome, it felt like he took an ice pick and jammed it straight through her heart. Now, Kagome is being broadsided with realization, she's finally seeing the things that Inuyasha's done to her, how he's changed her, how she's become just like him, and how she wants to be the innocent girl she once was. Can things ever change?

Chapter 4: This chapter was extremely short, but I think I feel that way because I'm so used to you writing long chapters, well that is for chapters two and three. Yet, this chapter was very insightful as well. Inuyasha finally shows his softer, lighter side. He's remorseful and repentful side. I knew he didn't mean to hurt Kagome, yet he can't help it because he's been hurt before.

    Hurt by Kikyou.

And once you've been hurt, you stay on the defense, protecting yourself from the cruel words you're used to hearing i.e. half-breed, mutt, etc. etc. And it's funny, ironically funny, that is because Inuyasha does not want to hurt Kagome, but he can't help it. He's been defending himself ever since he was a child, with no place to fit in, and he wants to fit in, that much is obvious, but he's frightened.
Frightened of letting people see through him. And because Inuyasha is so afraid, because he is angry people have hurt him before, he wants to hurt someone as well, but not Kagome, not intentionally, that is. And now he feels he is a monster for hurting Kagome. He's an ass, but a lovable one and yet now he's remorseful of what he's done and for the first time in his entire life, Inuyasha has finally let loose of his emotions, by just simply... crying.

Chapter 5: This chapter started out with me being slightly confused, yet as I read on, I could see what was going on. I knew somewhere in this fic that Kikyou was going to show up, because her not being there is inevitable. She's hurt Inuyasha by giving the jewel away to Naraku, it's sickening, yet sad at the same time, but then there's just something else about her, an alterior motive, but I can also see why Kagome would be angry with her. Although Kikyou and Kagome are two different people, I can see that Kagome can't hate her because she knows Inuyasha still has feelings for her, feelings that she wants him to feel towards herself.

Kikyou has given Naraku the power and Kagome knows Inuyasha feels betrayed, yet strangely enough, Kikyou turns the tables on Naraku for she tricked him. Tricked him by turning him into a human, turning him back into what he once was, Onigumo. I liked the way you showed what Onigumo was thinking, what he was thinking while he was dying, breathing his last breath, and yet, I don't believe he's in love with Kikyou, it was more of an infatuation or obsession. Shockingly enough, Kikyou was the one to destoy Naraku, formerly known as Onigumo, yet he had mistook her kindness for love and in the end she loathed him so, that she knew she had to kill him. Destroy him, hurt him, just as how he had done unto others. Yet, even through all of that, the dead priestess was able to feel pain, pain knowing that she was exactly like Onigumo, a lifeless doll, so why was she still living? Perhaps she already knows that dying will be like living on the earth. Because to Kikyou, to live is to die and to die is to live. So, which one is best suited for her?

    Perhaps, neither.

I'm glad Inuyasha finally saw through her, yet I could see she was being cruel for a reason, yet she could not say why, she would not say why. And then when Inuyasha finally snapped, Kikyou was remorseful, prehaps she wished he was hers now. Surprisingly, the twist Miroku is different from what I'm used to reading, it's a tragic thing, his hand, that is. That it fell off like that. Two years earlier, Inuyasha was once the young, still innocent boy, before he became rough. He was still able to notice the details, i.e. Kaede's sad eyes.

Her pain, she feels pain for Miroku because she's never had her own children, and yet, she worries for Inuyasha as well. Inuyasha is obviously fighting a battle he's going to lose because he still has feelings for Kikyou, and Kaede is worried about him, she cares for him deeply. I suppose, you could say Inuyasha has grown on her. But, I believe Inuyasha's so mean, so cruel now becuase of something to do with the Naraku incident, of course you wrote this as part 1, so I'm sure in part 2, I'll be able to see why Inuyasha is so cruel, so fierce, and mean, and yet perhaps it was Kikyou who made him so cruel and he hadn't even realized. Isn't that ironic?

Also, I noticed quite a few spelling errors, or just errors themselves. An example would be when you called Sango a taija and I just wanted to say that the word is actually pronounced as Taijiya.

Chapter 6: This chapter was very vivid in it's details. It's very nicely portrayed, actually. And as for Miroku, I can understand why he would sound so fed up with everything. His hand is practically and completely gone, so he feels bitter, and yet Sango still loves him. Perhaps, he wonders why. Why she stays around and why she wants to help him, yet she's acting like a mother hen who would guard over her chicks and Miroku doesn't want that. He needs space, but by doing so, by getting his space, he's ultimately hurt Sango. Yet, now that his hand is gone, he's changed, a fact that neither Sango or Kagome want to accept, but it's the truth.

And yet, Inuyasha seems to be the only one accepting it, he's the only one who is able to make Sango and Kagome realize that Miroku, is in fact, very much alive. As Inuyasha and Kagome are giving Sango and Miroku time to talk - more like screaming - he hurt her with his words, again it's not intentionally, but Kagome is still too naive to see that. And as Inuyasha finally gets through to her, by using cold words, Kagome is finally understanding what's going on, albeit with getting hurt in the process. Why is life such an emotional roller coaster?

As for Sango/Miroku, I notice Miroku is angry, angry for having no hand, yet even so, it seems he's testing Sango and pushing her away at the same time. So when he finally asks her to sleep with him and she agrees, the shock is too overwhelming, too much for him to handle, and the only way he can overcome it, - it would seem - is to push her away, hurt her. And he does, he leaves her broken hearted, both sharing the same feeling, pain and regret. Perhaps one day, they'll find a way back to each other and when they do, maybe they can be happy, if they ever overcome their differences.

This chapter was definitely sad and overwhelming. Many times my heart dropped into my stomach, before coming back to my chest and then it suddenly dropped into my stomach once more. I would have never guessed... this chapter and chapter 5 was totally unexpected, except for the end where Kagome pressed her lips against Inuyasha's and muttered Insurance.

Yet, now I see why they're together, why they are with each other. They came to be because of their lonliness, or rather, Kagome's lonliness, and yet also I feel like they're together because they want to be together. Now that everyone is gone, Kagome feels as though everyone is leaving, disappearing and knowing Inuyasha could one day get up and leave caught her off guard, so the only way she's able to keep him with her is through sex.

There was a few typos here and there, but still, I found this chapter to be very nicely portrayed!

Chapter 7: Inuyasha, who has never felt love, or has never had any sexual contact, would of course feel frightened by Kagome kissing him. You've really captured Inuyasha's character. Actually, I think it really portrays him beautifully. And then, Kagome offering herself to Inuyasha, giving herself to him, completely and freely, has him wanting more. A craving, or perhaps it's just a primal animal instinct Inuyasha feels, after all, he is a dog demon. His inner demon taunts him, which I think is the ultimate insult Inuyasha can take. After all, Sango, Miroku, and Shippou's have already chewed and stomped on Inuyasha.

Perhaps Inuyasha is just too far gone to care. So when Inuyasha finally takes Kagome and she whimpers in pain, he tells her he doesn't care. Again, I notice he shoots off his mouth, but then his body reacts completely different by the signs it gives off. If he didn't care about hurting Kagome, then why didn't he move when they were having sex, why didn't he keep thrusting into her when he was fucking her? Because he cares... and then they succumbed to sleep, happy, yet when they wake up it's a completely and totally different story.

    Why?

Because Inuyasha doesn't know how Kagome will react. So they end up in a heated argument, with it ending about Kikyou. I notice though that Kikyou is always the person that is keeping them apart and yet, strangely enough, it was her who brought Inuyasha and Kagome together. So when Inuyasha and Kagome go forget about everything in the river, Inuyasha finally bares his soul to her and even now that they both know that they're lovers, they still realize that they're friendship could ruin it all. But, I suppose it's better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all.

Chapter 8: I think you made a mistake. You posted this chapter as chapter 7, but it's chapter 8, unless the first chapter was the prologue. Anyway I can understand how Kagome's feelings and although Inuyasha has hurt her with his words, he's regretful, In a way I can and can't understand why he won't tell her. I suppose it's because he's a fool who's in love, prehaps it's like the saying love is blind.

Yet, I'm surprised to see Kikyou coming back, coming back to tell Kagome the truth, the whole truth. She loved Inuyasha so much that she had to push him away, she felt the need to push him away because she knew he would not gain anythng from being with a lifeless doll. Kikyou dying, giving back the rest of her soul back to Kagome, I believe, was the thing that made Kagome realize that everything was going to be okay. And it made Kagome realize, that she shouldn't get too attached to something, especially Inuyasha, because Inuyasha is like an emotional roller coaster. He's unstable, yet loyal, and lovable at the same time. So Kagome knew what to do, and oddly enough it was because of Kikyou.

I like the way Kikyou died, it was done beautifully, although there were quite a few typos or just plain old spelling errors in this chapter as well, this chapter was the one to make me cry.

Chapter 9: I like the way this chapter started. It's still obvious Ayumi is worried about Kagome, and it's also obvious that she feels Inuyasha is a terrible influence on Kagome, yet she also realizes that he's good for her, because he's helping her keep together. And she can't--- won't accept it because she also feels as though Inuyasha is ruining Kagome's life, because she knows Kagome's keeping secrets from her, secrets she wants to know about. Yet, Kagome is torn, struggling with wanting and not anting to tell Ayumi the truth, the real truth. Perhaps someday she will be able to.

As for Inuyasha/Kagome, I liked the way Inuyasha was sweet enough to let Kagome catch up on her sleep and then he finally apologized. I liked the ending of the chapter more specifically because it showed a new side of Inuyasha, a lighter side, a softer side. And then this chapter ended on a happier note, something I feel that Kagome and Inuyasha deserve. They definitely deserve happiness, especially after all the trauma that they went through, hopefully, Ayumi will learn the truth soon, so Kagome won't have to tell any more lies. Good job on writing such a wonderful piece, it has captured my attention.

I wanted to review because I feel this fic isn't given the credit it deserves, something my friend, Fox tells me all the time. Actually she was the one who recommended I read this fic, only for me to find, that I love it. Actually, I loved it so much that I felt the need to add it to my recommended reading list, I hope more people read this fic and discover how beautifully written it is.

Is this enough constructive criticism for you?

I have mixed feelings on this one...I guess it's because it's so bizarre.
Not the fic, but Inu's way of thinking. I mean, I get it...but it's insanity
too. The whole Miro, sango, Shippo thing...heartbreaking and I'm hoping
there was some point to it...or was it just used as the catalyst? You've
evoked a rare thing in me...dislike for my hanyou. So I gotta say Great
damn job. But I'm still pretty confused as to exactly where this is going
and how heartbreaking will the road to completion be?
