Oh, and I ABSOLUTELY agree with subetehoshi's last review. ^^ Along with Snowfall's review, excluding her first paragraph. (Hidaka Noriko is a bit warmer than Willow Johnson, from what I have seen, though Hidaka-san pulls off the cold, reborn Kikyou nicely. :S I actually like Willow Johnson's voice too. >_

*Gasp!* It just occured to me. Kikyou can't purify Inuyasha! She's given up her miko powers. Yes! Stupid bitch. When is that ignorant hanyou going to realize that the only part of Kikyou that still loves him is the piece of soul that Kagome left behind? That clay pot is worse than a ghoul. I've only seen the dubbed shows, but in it Urusue called her a monster. Yup, that's all she is.

The way that you described Inuyasha's desire to fight and kill something just to silence his thoughts was very funny.

Uh oh. If Kagome can be a threat to Inu, will Naraku try to confuse her again to get her to actually do it? No, Kagome will not be fooled again! I refuse to believe it! *bites fingernails*

Yes! Yes! Yes! For the first time in forever someone has actually used the correct word for carrying something--'bear'. I luuuuuuurve you! *hugs and smooches and snoopy dance* Wow! That felt good. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You've just made my week.

Damn Naraku to hell! You've done a great job villifying him. You've made him such a devious, sadistic, twisted, (I could go on), psychotic bastard. What he did to Kagura was well in line with his cruel nature. Beast!

And Sesshoumaru, the king of denial. He's so cute when he's confused. The conversation between him and Kagura was very amusing though there was urgency with angst. The spitfire and the ice king; both ruthless assassins. Perfect match. I find that your idea of their youki being a means of communication is very original. (Mmm, but kinda resembles the vampire marks of Anita Blake) I love it, regardless. Sesshoumaru must rescue her. But how to get her heart and souls back? That's a tough one. You've done a great job characterizing Kagura. She seems so IC and yet so three dimensional. Awesome job as always

Once again, you did a great job with the picture words, particularly with Sesshoumaru's feelings concerning his relationship with Kagura. I did find the phrase 'didn't give a flying fuck' very amusing; haven't heard that in awhile.

Well, off to read the next chappie.

Stupid mm.org person. If they don't like the way that you write your fic, they have shit for brains. That said, on with the review.

Oh, so Naraku just surprised and distracted Kagome. But still, she knew. Inuyasha to the rescue! Oh yeah. He's so sexy when he goes all demon bad boy. Bitch! Mine! Always love that. *sigh* And then the self-loathing. Stupid hanyou.

I like Kagura too. There is much more to her than meets the eye. Though her mind isn't twisted enough to figure out Naraku's plans, she's one sharp lady. Her sadistic smile is alluring and I'm sure that is part of Sesshoumaru's attraction to her. She's a nice powerful package and Sesshoumaru would do well to mate her. Yup. You've got the right idea.

Chappie 18: Sango and Kag's were so cute at the end of their conversation. The humor was a welcome break from all the angst. Poor Inu, sees so much in Kagome, feels so guilty and loves her with all of his soul. Wanting her to sit him was sad. But the kissing scene! So sensual, so hot!

Damn Naraku, that bastard! And dumb Kagome. Geeze, rocks for brains. At least she will be more prone to understanding Inuyasha's dilemma though. Excellent twist.

As for your comment that the story writing itself is creepy; I think that those are the best kind because the fact that you do not know what is going to happen next keeps the readers from being able to guess. No boredom! The only thing that you really must be careful not to do is to continue the fic long after it should have ended. But, make sure to tie up all of the loose ends. Read back through. It will help you to write the next chappie.

WooHoo! I'm going to see if there is more to read!

who could NOT review this fic? While this chapter wasn't as action packed as others, it was great for that scene between kag and inu and the thoughts they were both thinking. The way you described how Kagome felt on inu's back was just great adn it inspired me to write! Don't worry- i don't steal scenes or words. I write a fic on ff.net called 'travel travails' and i'm just going to try and evoke that same timeless feeling of comforrt and love that kag felt on his back in this chapter. did i mention how much i adored that scene? I did. possibly the best way i've ever seen that 'kag-on-inu's-back' thing portrayed. great job as usual

Chappie 17: Poor Inu, rejected by his bitch just when he was trying to tell her, and almost did, that he loved her. That was so sweet. Feet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. LOL The picture of him sitting in front of the well, his leg bobbing up and down, and muttering to himself is too cute. You know how to make us feel sorry for the poor confused little hanyou. So, both Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru have hang-ups concerning their family; nicely thrown in together in the same chapter.

Ah, Sesshoumaru and Bokuseno. Sesshoumaru let Kagura get away with insulting him, finding it amusing. I can see that. He thinks of her as passionate and beautiful, even lusts after her. Poor guy, he's still in denial. I loved the phrase 'whispered caresses'. Well done with the picture words again. The way that you described what Rin meant to Sesshoumaru was wonderful. You didn't make it all gushy. I like that you have kept Sesshoumaru in character, yet given him the heart that we all know that he has. It's nice to know that his intentions toward Inuyasha have changed. I like that he is still determined to kill Inuyasha if Inuyasha doesn't measure up. With that, you keep Sesshoumaru in character and bind together the two brothers. At least, Sesshoumaru is intelligent enough to realize that Kagome is Inuyasha's strength. Let's hope that he figures out how to break the spell. You have me very intrigued with the consequences of Kagome and Inuyasha's mating. If you have ever given the outcome, I missed it. Sorry. If anyone could figure out the plotting of Naraku, it has to be Sesshoumaru. I hope that he becomes a major player in this fic. Of course, I would! You know I'm Sess obsessed! Hihi.

    Great work!

Chappie 16: I don't know where I reviewed last, but I want to say that this is a wonderfully angsty chapter. Kagome's confusion, bitterness and desperation to help and understand Inuyasha were very well portrayed, as was Inuyasha turmoil over his behavior with Kikyou. And, my lovely Sesshoumaru. *sigh* Again, great work. Your writing continues to flow smoothly.

Thank you for the early XMAS present (new chappy!) I liked the way you had Kagome wondering why InuYasha wasn't giving her more of a reaction to the Naraku incident. That was very insightful; his guilt and her insecurities. It was the perfect to time to tell her about Kikyo. Guess he will pay later for that. I know the next chapter is going to be good (from your hints,) so I will be checking in alot. Thank you YM, for all of your wonderful, hard work (and your sharing with us!) Cynbad146

I just found your story on AFF, now I'm caught up, so REVIEW TIME!
I like the way you have developed many of the characters in your story; you have taken some that tend to be two-dimensional and brought them to life. I'm particularly thinking of Kagura, Miroku and Shippo. It's easy to see why Sesshomaru finds YOUR Kagura so intriguing; she's a mass of contradictions and paradoxes. Personally, I've always thought she was one of the best manga/anime villains going, she looks so elegant and then she opens her mouth and . . . oh dear! It's also nice to see Miroku and Shippo portrayed as having a brain and some abilities; they tend to turn into comic relief, particularly Miroku, but it's pretty clear in the manga that he really has a lot of power, when he can keep his mind on business and not Sango's bottom.
I think you've caught Kagome's personality well too--she really doesn't know when she should be scared, does she? I bet she fell off her bike a lot as a little kid, trying to ride down the shrine steps or something else equally crazy. You've also let her be stubborn, bossy and a bit of a busybody, which is much nicer than the totally sweet (icky) Kagome you see in lots of fan fiction.
I'm also very impressed by what you've done with Inuyasha; all to often he is just a super-strong teenager with a particularly rotten mouth on him. Your Inuyasha is definitely non-human and you've shown how his hanyou personality is not simply a mix of the human and youkai elements, but something else entirely.
I went back and re-read the scene with Inuyasha and Kikyou at the river and I'm still going "What the hell?" I have a little difficulty believing she would do what she did (Inuyasha, I have no trouble with, especially after you revealed he'd been under a spell) but I'm willing to go along with you on Kikyou for a while longer.
Overall, I must say that I think Love Poison is one of the best Inuyasha fan fics I've read and I'm looking forward to the next chapter(s) from you.
Oh, and your limes--they're pretty big, yellow limes, you know--are fantastic.

I'm not sure if my name and e-mail will come through on the form, so the name is Luiseach and the e-mail is Luiseach at aol dot com--hope that stops any spam bots.
