Lone WOLF "claps" great great great. I rarely rarely read cross overs, because it's hard to take two excellent anime(like these) and combine them HOWEVER I am very glad I gave this one a chance this is great, Kouga for some reason I've always really liked so having him teach Ken was wonderful!!!! and how it all fits and has a very real hint of being believeable.

Now with that said, question maybe I have not seen the episode of something but WHY does every put Ayme(kagome's friend) with Kouga???? Could you email and tell me, or is this just an accepted pairing in Fic Land?

    Very good & as always I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Neat idea having Kouga as Kenshin's old master. On this part I think doubled would be better as redoubled;

At first, she resisted and tried to push him away. So he doubled his efforts and a soft growl rumbled in his chest. After that, she literally melted against him, and for a few precious moments, Kouga knew what heaven was like.

This is a wonderful story!! Naraku putting some of his youki into Kohaku was a brilliant idea. I love what Shippo said about their souls complimenting on another.

Perhaps there is a reason that he felt so vehemently to mark her as his mate ~ maybe his soul did recognize hers. After all, Kikyo's soul was reincarnated in Kagome, why couldn't have Inu-Yasha's soul be reincarnated in another hanyou. It makes sense, Rin is tied to the InuTaisho family by the fang in Tensaiga and the TaiYoukai who used it to revive her. If InuYasha's soul was to be reborn, unless Sesshoumaru decided to have children, Rin is the closest magical and familial connection.

Of course, the well bringing both Shippo and Kenshin to Kagome also indicates that Kenshin has InuYasha's soul ~ the well seemed to like InuYasha and always let him through. How else would Shippo be able to get Kenshin through?

Can't wait to see what Kagome did to Naraku! And don't worry about the flame ~ those are always the most fun to read. The author I Beta for and I read her flames, laughing SO hard.

Brilliant story!!! Hope to see more soon!

Another wonderful, well-written chapter. I've reread the prologue and I think you did a great job ironing it out as well. It was a lot less jumbled, and matches well with the writing style of the rest of your story now.

This chapter with shippo/rin and then shippo/kenshin was so very bittersweet, I felt like I wanted to cry.

Nice play on words with the whole SHippo rIN = SHINTA thing. Cute... far fetched, but cute ;). Would like to see more Shippo/Kenshin interaction in future chapters. I understand why you summarized a lot of their conversation (since you would essentially be repeating yourself), but now since each of them know where they stand with each other, it would be nice to know how they feel. Perhaps a small recap of the conversation from Kenshin's point of view?

Well, I'm rambling -- don't mean to, but I am. Good job girl, you rock.

enjoyed the info in this chap(sons and fathers) but really there was no interaction with Shippo and Ken to me, it was all fast forwared and I think you did a wonderful job with Shippo and Rin.

Your writing style is very good, and clear in it's meanings (at least to me) keep up the great job on that front. I look forward to the next chap.

    Coffee Gyrl:

LOL!!! Your comment cracked me up!!!! ;) Kenshin will get a bath and a meal before they jump back in the well. How funny for you to notice that of all things... but really, it's only been like 2 days since he last ate, and since it was rare for someone to bathe several times in a week during the time period he hails from, I doubt he notices the 'scuzz' factor. Kagome on the other hand certainly does ;). Thank you! Oh, and about the jumping back and forth between the two languages; I dunno, I was trying something different. I tend to use my fanfictions as a way to educate myself with the Japanese language. But you're right; the 'de gozaru' really doesn't fit with my story. 'Sessha' on the other hand may appear again... I kinda like it. ;)

It's 3 am in the morning and I'm still up reading this story. I just reread from the first chapter and I wanted to thank you for mentioning Shippo's tail wrapping around Kagome when they hug. I notice this is something that many people do when writing Koga lemon's is they forget to mention the TAIL! Shippo's is relatively large compaired to his body and if you remember what his dad's pelt looked like with the thunder brothers. I always wondered if Shippo could transform into a full fox demon like his dad's pelt? Hmmmm? Also I have noticed that poor Kenshin hasn't had anything to eat in about 4 or 5 days or a bath. Ewwww. The poor guy could probaly be introduced to the modern marvel of a shower with a hot meal. ^_^

Thank you for the language change for Kenshin's 'that it is' over de gozaru. I just read chapter 10 and then 11 together to compare and I really like how this sounds more old worldly romantic to me. You're right about Kenshin's control of his emotions that is what makes him so effective in fights is that he is not wildly emotional like Inuyasha more like Miroku. Shippo has always been the one who was totally in Kagome's corner, he always defends Kagome against anyone's attacks and was concerned about her feelings and well being. I think he would be a very caring parent, also that he had lost his own family at such a young age had to do damage with the loss of his mate. This is of course what makes the present situation so sad that once again Naraku/Kokaku has manged to f**k over a loving pair's happiness. I wonder how long Kokaku has had Sessshomaru on ice isn't Kenshin like in his early 30's? The taiyoukia is really hanging on a long time. So this is getting interesting now that Kenshin knows he's mated to Kagome when are they going to talk about it? Is he going to accept it or try to remain pleasant but aloof like he tries to do all the time? Such very interesting plot developments. Your story makes my heart go pitter patter when I see a new chapter I'm so in love with this story its my new all time favorite. I think you're doing a fine job with all your charaters and I can't wait to see how this story evolves. Thank you so much for updating^_^ I should be doing my homework instead of staying up late reading your story too but I just can't help myself, its a drug and I'm addicted:)

Really liked this chapter & am looking forward to the next 1. I do have a slight clarification on the words used list; Aa – yes (informal), not exactly it's a male only word meaning yes. I have no idea why but there are some words that are gender specific in the Japanese language & this is 1 of them.

that scene was prefect as is, of course a teenager who has never seen her mother with a man would be furious that her mother justed bonded herself to a half demon for out of time. And yes considering Yuki parents her behavior was fine, I do appreciate that you had Kagome slap her, I thought that was needed too.

While I am not looking forward to Ken/Kag I am loving ALL other parts of the story, and can't wait for you to update.
LOL, good luck on your school work!
