I have been taking my time in reading this wonderful fic over the past week+ because of school work and other issues that have come up. This fic never gets boring, I love it so much!!! The story line is wonderful and I guess if all the characters in Inu Yasha were in fact growing up in recent times, that they would most likely be the characters you have created to go along with all of their other personality traits in the anime. Well, I hope to read more soon and enjoyed the psychological chapter as well (I want to be a psychologist) for it was most intriguing^^. Keep up the good work^__^!!!

I really like your story and I can't wait till it is updated. I think your characters are well rounded and when I read I can kinda put my self right in with the story. I get much enjoyment out of reading it.

I read the review by Egyptian Kiss and felt I needed to respond. The issue of psyche doctors and drugs is a sensitive issue for me also. When I developed frontal lobe seizures, one of the side effects was agitated clinical depression. Different doctors are different, handle things different. A person must find the one that can help the most, much like finding a boyfriend. Drugs are the same way. Different drugs affect people differently. Some help, some hurt. The quicker you are strong enough to get off of them, the better. But, for some, they are necessary, like reaching an arm out to a drowning person. Pull them to shore and eventually, they'll stand on their own two feet. I can't stop taking the seizure meds, but I can get along without the others. But, the depression lays in the backgroung like a dark beast waiting for the opportunity to claw me when my brain does a somersault. It is a constant battle that I have been winning. With the anti-depressants, I do function better. But, some for whom the problem is not physical damage, a hand up can keep them from drowning.

I didn't like that the doctor spoke with Sesshoumaru alone. Knowing what I know now, having been through some shit with my ex, I would have never gone to see that doctor again. So, I agree with you there, bad form, and for very good reason. I also agree that it would have to be a very different doctor to let a patient look at the notes. Although we are legally entitled, I don't believe most doctors are that willing.

Still, a very good chapter that advances the story.

That was sweet. Sesshoumaru dealt with Rin really well, as did the doctor.
Now, what does the doc have up her sleeve? And, will Rin take her meds?
If Naraku really is messing with her mind, will the meds help or hinder?

This chapter definitely wasn't boring. Of course, that's probably because I love my Psychology classes. I sat down and read all the chapters of this story (took me a few days on and off). It's wonderfully written, and the characters are so well written. They've kept their individuality throughout all the entire story, and it's a pleasure to read. I'm definitely looking forward to the next chapter!

I completely agree with you, I don't see how everyone expects Yash to become Jesus' apprentice after an entire life of misery and pain. Along that same note will there be a character, maybe Miroku, or even Kagome that can see that he does need guidance and not everyone telling him how much of a baka he is all of the time? Everytime he messes up the entire gang finds it neccessary to express their distaste for his decisions as if he doesn't already know he doesn't always make the best decisions. Even Kagome is always ready to think the worst while playing her tears as a guilt card. I think there should be some time in the future where Yash and Kagome get to sit and talk ALONE, without outside influences (Sango, Rin, Sessh, Ryen) and he can really go over why he messes up sometimes and she can learn to trust that he will make gradual imporvements. Also her friends really insult him waaaaaay to much for my liking, I mean, I understand the protect your friend thing, but they hit/call him names waaay to much, and while she defends her decisions to them, she never actually defends him. I really look forward to her gaining her own backbone and telling her friends to layoff of him and their relationship because they have crossed the line more than enough times.

This chapter touched on somethings that are sore spots for me. I know people who go to psychologists for depression and stuff. I know that the whole notebook thing was true, but I hate that it was put in. I don't like Rin being decieved into thinking she can see notes that aren't the full and deep truth. The prescriptions, if I were Rin, would be flushed. I know there for her best interest, but I'd be damned before I trust someone I just met, enough to take meds from them. A medical doctor for illness is one thing, but the whole mind meddling thing with pills and intrusive judgemental notes is a whole different ball game. I love the fact you had Sessh so there and ready to jump in if necessary. I know for a fact though that shirks don't really share any information on themselves if possible, it's all about the patient. They only share what's necessary to get you to talk. The touching thing with her hand on Rin's knee probably wouldn't have happened either for the fact that it was too personal on the first visit. I'm glad Rin felt better though, she deserved some relief. I personally would've picked a different shrink though, for the fact this one was a little pushy and asked questions when she said Rin didn't have to answer them. Anyways it was a good chapter. I give you major points for effort and ability to understand the indepth psyche of the human mind and emotions. Please update soon. EK!

Aww crap! Got behind again with school and work. I never saw the twist with Rin's post trauma coming. *Sigh* That's so fricking wrong. But, it fits the story. Can't wait to see how the whole deal with Inuyasha laying off Kagome goes. HA! Looks like it's not going too smoothly so far. But yeah...I'm on the edge of my fricking seat waiting for more!!! Update soon please? ^^
