God! Everytime I swear you couldn't become any more brilliant, yet you continue to blow me away! An overwhelming sense of awe is all I can give you to describe how I feel at this point.

I often say that you touched my emotions, but now let me say what touched me. First, when Kagome tried to get back to save Rin and could not. Second when she met up with Kouga and all Kagome's feelings seeing him again and not have the others around thinking back during their time hunting shards and chasing Naraku her breaking down in tears in his arms overwhelmed by her events. But what really broke my heart is when she saw Sango. Not being able to reveal herself seeing Sango's mortality deminished to age and blindness tore me to tears that now just typing this review my eyes are welling up tears. So I thank you for this. You're really good and I patiently wait for your updates. Until then Peace!

This story is one of my absolute favorites! It's a very interesting angle on the sess-kag pairing. I look forward to the next chapter. Update soon!

It's been 4 weeks since your last update. (Which I'm surprised I remember, since normally my brain turns to absolute mush in the summer, and I can't remember what day of the week it is. =P ) Any chance that you will be updating soon? *uses the big ol' puppy-dog eyes* Please?? I swear, this summer is absolutely determined to make sure I understand that "patience is a virtue," as there are a few things I'm patiently waiting for. (Or, at least TRYING to wait patiently.) Darn virtues... Well, I suppose I'd prefer to wait a while longer for updates than have you rush and have the new chapter not up to your usual quality. Though it isn't always easy to wait. *beats impatience into submission, then hides it under her bed.*

Hehe... Anyway, I absolutely loved the nightmare scene. I find it so absolutely amusing how Sess is disappointed that Kagome wasn't trying to seduce him, even though it worked so well. lol! And Fuyu's constant spooning! lol! PH34R 7H3 $P00N!! XD Well, maybe I'll back and reread Fugue again for now. 'Til the next update! Adieau!

Great story!! I love everything about it. Usually I don't like Inuyasha stories with "budding" relationships, but this is just so darn good!! Keep it up!

Of the last two chapters, 30 and 31, may favorite scenes are: Kagome's thoughts after she gets injured, the witty banter between her and fuyu while she was being stitched, Sesshoumaru panicking when he smells her blood and his handling of her thigh along with her musings when he does it, the Land of Not Caring What Fuyu Thought, Kagome kicking and screaming while Sess carries her to the field, his realization that what he'd done was insane, the nightmare scene, Kagome making up new sounds for pain and the way you ended on her going back into training. I'm probably forgetting something. Oh hell, I liked all of it, but those are my favorite scenes to reread. I'm dying waiting for another chapter, but I know it's the busy holiday and summer. I'm behind on my updates too.

I'm a big fan of your writing. The relationship you are building between Kagome and Sesshoumaru is great. I love your writing style and your plots. I try to read anything you write. I know if you wrote it I'm in for a treat. Thank you for all of your hard work bringing good stories to us! I highly recommend you to anyone.

I just spent the last 4 days reading this wonderful story. (Didn't sleep last night, read this instead, hehe) I found it on somebody else's recommended reading, and it was the only IY story, the rest were Naruto, which I normally do not read IY anymore for several reasons. Too cliche, too immature, overdone, the list goes on. But not your story. Your story is absolutely spellbinding. I see why you have been nominated by the fanguild. I learned several new words while reading your story, which is awesome, because I am the one usually teaching others new words. I can not remember finding any errors. I like the way you start out a chapter and then go back and explain, it did get a little confusing one time but I figured it out within a paragraph or two. (It was the chapter when Sess n Kag were staying with the wolf family/herb keepers after defeating the dragon, I read it so quickly, I would be hard pressed to tell you better than that) That is about all that I can offer in terms of constructive criticism. Honestly it is so hard to leave a good constructive crit when you find an author of your skill level, cuz all I wanna do is rant and rave about how awesome the story is, and how much I love it, and how I'm going to hunt you down and flog you with a wet ramen noodle if you don't update your story, hehehe. Often times in a story this long, I find myself saying, just get to the romance already! But you have the perfect amount of sexual tension between the two of them, and the action sequences as well as the suspence are riveting. Wow, I am just so glad that I found this story! Oh, I almost forgot, what is the definition of Madoushi? I did a search last night and none of my Jap/Eng sites came up with anything, the closest I can figure is it means black magic priestess?

I love this version of Kikiyo/Inuyasha/Kagome and the wish. It is very creative and new and "fits". I wish you could be just a little less dark (only Inu/Kik only had 2 yrs together? -so sad all that sacrifice). But you are the great writer and I'm just a reader. Thanks for sharing some great storytelling. I hope you enjoy writing it as much as we (all the lurking readers like me who only review once in awhile) enjoy reading it. Looking forward to the next chapter. :)

I have tears in my eyes reading the last half of this chapter. they are so inlove with one another...I hope that they can find comfort in eachother and overcome all of the obsticals set before them...and maybe there can be a way for her to live a life time with him with a life span like him... This is an excellent Story, I can't wait for the next update and the one after and the one after that....and so on.

The one thing I don't like about your chapters are they don't go on and on. When I start to read them I get so into the story that I really don't want it to every end. This story is so good. I never saw or read a story on adult fanfiction that makes me look for new chapters every week. I just want to say that you are a awesome write.

Now that the childish review is out of the way and I've had time to think about chapter 31...

You must know that, for me, only the stories that I cannot predict are intruguing. So, I like to speculate. That's what makes a story worth reading. Here are the thoughts you have inspired.

Well, Sesshoumaru is an idiot. He never should have taken up with Kagome on that first journey. He should have just left her there. But, the damage is done. He is an idiot, but I guess love or extreme boredom, whichever the case, will do that to you. I enjoy the nice little realizations that you allow Kagome and Sess, only to have them squashed until the next opportunity to raise their ugly heads. And suppressing the feelings of desire only makes them grow stronger. Hehehe. I wonder why his feelings were stronger when she came back. Was it because of the old 'absence makes the heart grow fonder'? Which is sometimes true. Somehow, I wish there was more to Sesshoumaru's original attraction to Kagome than just a form of entertainment.

Mmm. Fuyu seems to understand Sesshoumaru better than Kagome. And, perhaps their relationship. She's really smart too. Sesshoumaru understood what Fuyu was doing when she wanted him to let Kagome practice on him, which makes him much more intellingent, maybe, than I sometimes give him credit. But then again, you do tend to surprise me on that point. I believe that even Fuyu knew that Kagome wouldn't hurt Sesshoumaru and that the practice would bring out more of Kagome's power. Maybe she's not such a bitch afterall. Fuyu may have also been testing the strength of Sesshoumaru's loyalty. I'm sure that all of Fuyu's 'spoonings' will help keep Kagome from flinching in battle.

Sesshoumaru understood about Kikyou though I can't say that I understood that whole discussion. (BTW, if that evil sorceress was responsible for Inuyasha and Kikyou's death, I want some very serious revenge. Melt the bitch slowly and painfully with Sesshoumaru's poison. Yeah, that's the ticket.) Bunny trail...He tries to comfort her like he did Rin. It was sweet when he told Kagome that she was not like 'her'-- meaning Kikyou. You caught me by surprise there. He can be insightful at times. However, the conversation on that point later that night confused me.

When are we going to Edo? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? *snicker*

I guess Sesshoumaru believes that when he tells Kagome how she smells, he will be admitting to himself that he will not be seeing her again. That was heartbreaking. And, don't forget, he lost, or won that bet depending on how you look at it and owes himself an indulgence.

I'm still trying to figure out what you're going to do when the flow of the passage of time for the past meets evenly with flow of the present. Will Kagome find it has all been a dream? Will Sesshoumaru show up in the present as an innocent little white doggie and lure her to his home? Or will she grow old before his very eyes and go home to die of old age as the passage of her time becomes quicker than his? The possibilities are endless. Considering your other story, I do not dare hope for a 'happily ever after' ending. I'm sure it will be bittersweet though I'm saddened just thinking about it. *sniffle*

I am worried about Sesshoumaru's home. I imagine it will have to be destroyed, or something, eventually since the modern day Land of the Rising Sun does take over. I hope it's not gruesome or terrible.

Well, there are the many thoughts and speculations you have inspired. I had to do a lot of cutting and pasting to put all these thoughts in order for you and it took quite some time. You deserve it. You don't know how much of your story I have re-read several times while awaiting an update. I told you that I intend to learn from you and I meant it. It is already affecting my current writing. Also, I just enjoy reading it that much.

    Anxiously awaiting your next chapter,

    Snowfall aka Hanyou Slave

OMG! You are torturing me to death, but I can see where it is necessary to work through their hesitation, their fight to do nothing to endanger their already precarioius situation. It makes my heart hurt for them. You have done it again. *sighs and clutches chest*

    Keep up the good work.
