!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you! Thank you!! THANK YOU!!!!!! I think you are the first writer I have come across where as the relationship progresses that it is Inu Yasha who is the voice of reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He stopped the rushing of their relationship to the next stage AND he explained why in such a way there was NO miscommunications!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Other writers would either have Kagome stop and there would be a huge fight and insults because Inuyasha would want more or Inuyasha would stop it without explaining why properly again causing lots of hurt!!!!! And what you did with Koga (although I would like to see Inuyasha kick his mangy butt big time) how you handle it was brillant!!!!!!!!!! A very pleasing and refreshing touch/change!!! You absolutely ROCK the Country!!! GAH!! I just wrote a Shania Twain lyric... LOL!! I like Shania.. OK ramble done... SWEETTTTTT!!!!!! I really don't know how to express in proper words the honour I feel to be able to read your stories!!!! I only have one regret... That this and your other stories can't be published ( Seriously... I would buy at least 3 copies of each.. one to read one to place into a treasure cabinet and one for back up once the reading copy falls apart from over use) WOW!!! KUDOS!!!!!!!!! I like how you had Kagome's Mom talk with Kagome about her progressing relationship with Inuyasha. That was, how I felt, in character with her, and tastefully done. I have come across some writers that have her mother pushing her to have sex and get pregnant right away. I wonder will Myouga show up and give some "helpful" ( meaning embarrassing ) points on demon matings/cermonies? and Sesshoumaru!! giggles I can't for him to show up!!!! Again I thank you for writing and allowing us the joy of reading your story. Please keep up this most excellent work.. And update as you can. Inu Hanyou Nikkie will be chasing her tail, munching on Pocky, and generally showing off her puppiness as she awaits the next chapter...

Sorry, that I am late getting on board here. I have just spent all morning reading all 14 chapters. Your story is really wonderful. It has a really graceful execution of Kagome's and InuYasha's relationship. In other words, I really like how the story progresses with InuYasha becoming more open with his feelings and Kagome's never questioning faith in InuYasha. Keep up the good work (I love this cliche'.) Cynbad146

Love the story. Just came home from a very long time in hospital and got a chance to read this in full. (only been able to catch bits and pieces) The whole story was entrancing, and the way that Inu and Kag worked together was great. I will really hate to see this story end. I usually save reviews till the end of a story...that way I can review a story for an author, not just a chapter. I usually get angry when authors demand more reviews or they will "punish" the readers by delaying further chapters. I'm feeling unusual today. :-) You really are writing a great story here. It keeps close enough to the original to be easily understood, but you've added a new flair to it that I really am enjoying. You've handled the characters well, you've led us all through the story gracefully. You really should keep writing. Thank you for sharing your story with us all. I'll review again when the story is done. Please never feel discouraged when you don't get as many reviews as you would hope for, I'm not the only one who tends to wait until the end to review. I'm sure there are many others just waiting to see where you take us.

Hey, just read your whole story (up to current chapter, at least) in one hit, and I loved it. You sounded a little disgruntled and disillusioned in your A/N, regarding reviews and the like. I just wanted to say that I know how disheartening "low response" can be. I had a story that got favourable, even glowing responses for the first few chapters, and then I didn't have any. For about eight chapters, I think. And still none. It wasn't on this site, and I agree, this seems to be the only site where anyone gives a damn about updates, lol. However, the point is, don't let the bastards get you down. So far, this is a highly enjoyable, well-written story. Just a few grammar and spelling hiccups, added and missing words etc., but hey, I am overly obsessive about that. They in any way detract from the story flow or plot, though.
Overall, I'm exceedingly impressed and thrilled to find a work like this amongst the all-too-often scarily crap stuff rife in such a popular fandom. (Sess/Kag fics "oh InuYasha's a cheating bastard I'll go off with his brother who suddenly became a sensitive soul with a penchant for silk sheets and rose petals and chocolate body paint" *shudder*) Your characterisation is senstive and believable. I am loving the Mrs Higurashi/ InuYasha interaction. I can't tell you how glad I was when InuYasha didn't automatically go all touchy feely in front of Miroku Sango et al. I must admit to having had a small amount of apprehension about that. However, DON'T STOP THE WAFF!!! Ohhhh, it's the hopeless romantic in me, but, GAH! I loves it, I does. But hell, I loves it all. Easy to please, me. At least by this story.
So yeah, don't let a lack of response put your sense of good-writer-ness in doubt. And if you ever need someone to bitch and moan to, ask questions, or even to just check grammar with a fine tooth comb, don't hesitate to email.

hahahaha! Great chapter! The relationship between Kagome and Inuyasha is coming along quite nicely *nudge nudge* Poor Kouga, got shot down, but i'm glad you got that little situation out of the way now. Also, the way you portrayed the reaction of Kagome's mother when she walked in on them was very good! Gentle and understanding, you got that characteristic of hers down to a T. This story is one of my favorites and i'm glad that you continue to update, even if it is just weekly! ^_^ and ... hahaha, thank you for your recognition, it's really kind of you. i like reviewing, and i think all stories and their authors deserve that much, so no need to thank me, your story and updates are all the thanks i need! ^_^ Can't wait for your next chapter, so til then, take care!

Now you know we are all lazy and just take enjoyment from your story and then think, "I'll review next time..." Well anyway, I'm still here and I'm still really liking your story and I'm still hoping you update again soon!

And if you post on FF.net, they had some power outage problem that kept them from updating the reviews. You might have more than you think. And on Mediaminer, they reset everyones default to not allow unsigned reviews, so you have to go into your settings and manually change it to accept anonymous reviews. I hope that helps.

I am so glad you updated this again so soon. You sure packed a lot in one chapter. It sounds like Kouga finally got the message Kagome loves Inuyasha. I felt sorry for Inuyasha that Kagome was able to restore her memories of her family but not him. I hope if she does remember, she and Inuyasha are able to continue having the more mature relationship you're establishing between them and don't fall back to the screaming matches. I thought it was funny that Kagome's mother had to give her the "birds and the bees" talk again. And then Kagome turns out to be the aggressive one in the relationship. I really enjoy this story.

Don't be too disappointed by lack of responses. Since you updated at a different time than normal, some may not have found the updated story yet. I actually found this update just as I was about to turn off my computer for the day. I'm only following four stories on AFF these days and all of them have regular updates. I feel that those authors who update regularly know their stories and where they want to take the characters and their readers. That's one reason I enjoy this story. You keep me on an emotional roller coaster with it. I'll be looking for your next update (and won't just look on Tuesday morning for it).

Hello there! just found your story, and once i opened the page, i had to keep going. It's beautifully written. The idea that any major or minor incident can change a person's life and the people close to them is a very good plotline, it's also very true. You've portrayed everything and everyone so well, it's as if the reader is actually watching the series. Very realistic, it's quite impressive. nice chapter!! i see you brought kikyou into play. I'm glad you gave us an insight into how kikyou and inuyasha feel about eachother now, and how their relationship has changed. though kikyou isn't my favorite character in the series, i'm glad you made her seem sorta decent. usually stories run over kikyou with 500 ton bulldozers, back up and then run over her again, hah so it's nice to see that you didn't make her too bitchy, and instead just made her a bit stoic. anyway, til ur next chapter! take care ^_^

Well that was a pleasant surprise to find that you had updated early. I liked how you showed the re-establishment of friendship within the group. I was a confirmed Kikyo hater until recent anime episodes and now I'm beginning to change my mind about her. I think you portrayed her more as she might have been before her death. Congratulations on your nomination, you certainly deserve it. This story reflects how an incident in someones life can have a profound effect not only on the person it happened to but those around them. You have done a great job of keeping the characters in character while at the same time having them evolve in ways that are completely believable. Really good story.
