As promised after work heres ya review. Girl you are the BOMB! and u know it.I loved the whole thing but you definatly got my idea down pat about Fifi and Yash. another great one, YAY!, ok, before i go anyfurther on this review, i have to say... "cacophony", man, i LOVE that word, its just a shame i rarley have chance to use it, that and "guffaw", that one makes me think of me dad, he "guffaws" when i do somthing stupid, (which is quite often, ok, on with the review

Yea, Inu was an ass in the last chapter, and i was pissed at him, but the bad is what makes the good, good, right? So, im glad to see that the wonderful, loving hanyou we all know and fantasize about :P is back and whole-heartedly trying to do the right thing for kags and lil inu.

DUDE!!!, How frikkin blown away was i with fluffy?!?, HOLY BAJEBERS BAT MAN!!, I am so proud of him its sickning!, rin has done wonders for him, but so has lil inu, babies really do bridge family gaps, i should kno, i did, both sets of grandparents hated eachother, then lil sally comes along and TADA!, were a family, and past feuds were forgiven and forgotten, it looks like the same thing is happening here, thats so frikkin cool, and totally real! i know fluffykins made one HUGE fuckup, and its gonna be WAY hard to forgive, and definatly wont be forgotten, but maybe his own kid can soften it a lil. and definatly pull that last cork from the dam hes built around his emotions, making him (for lack of a better word) human, and not afraid, but proud to show his feelings and let people in.

and on the side, are we ever gonna know why when kags and inu returned to the past after lil inu was born, it was 5 (?) years after they left, or did u already explain that and i missed it..... looks like im gonna have to re-read some to make sure i didnt,.... not that i have a problem doing that :P ok, thats it for now.

I'm not so sure that Inuyasha was acting inappropriately in the last few chapters. I think he has a legitimate beef that has so far been overlooked in this story. Let's not forget that since he was introduced Sesshoumaru has made a replica of Inuyasha's mother (who almost killed him and probably screwed up his head a little, even if it was never followed up on), has impaled Inuyasha with his arm, has tried to kill Inuyasha and his friends simply because he has daddy issues over his sword (that can only raise the dead. Boo hoo), and in the last story, kidnapped Kagome for several days and raped her. Inuyasha had to come from the brink of death to save her, and Sesshoumaru still hasn't gotten his comeuppance (in my book the beating wasn't nearly enough), and has made no real effort to do anything to make up for it. I think it's entirely reasonable for Inuyasha to not be happy when Sesshoumaru is around Kagome, and it has nothing to do with jealousy but everything to do with Sesshoumaru's actions. And I don't get why everyone is dumping on Inuyasha for voicing his unhappiness, as rude as he might have gone about it, even if it's all to help Rin. There are limits to how much he should have to put up with.

As for bridging the gap, should it be done? I think Sesshoumaru effectively shot, killed, stomped on, cooked, partially ate, and violated any chance of reconciliation with his brother in the last story. The onus is on Sesshoumaru to mend the relationship (since he's done the most damage to it), and unless something dramatic happens, it's going to be way too jarring and out of character for the Sesshoumaru in the story to suddenly start to feel bad after all this time.

I liked Intended Mate, and I do like this story, though not nearly as much. If I didn't, I wouldn't be writting this huge review. I just have one main problem with this story. It seems I'm supposed to be feeling sympathy for Sesshoumaru, but I don't. I think he deserves everything he's getting piled on him and more. He's not a good, or even decent guy. He may not be totally evil, but he's done horrible things, and (at least in this story, and in most others that feature him heavily) he hasn't shown any genuine remorse, regret, or guilt over his actions because such feelings are beneath him. I feel sorry for Rin because of the whole infertility thing, and I feel sorry for Kagome because she has to go back there and relive past events and for the burden she has to carry with regards to healing Rin. And I feel sorry for Inuyasha because he has a lot of anger and genuine grievances that nobody seems to care about, and everyone seems to dump on him for simply having and voicing. But Sesshoumaru, until he starts showing some regret and sadness over his actions, not enough has happened to him as far as I'm concerned. But then again, I have an anti-Sesshoumaru as written in fancfictions bias. People tend to make him good and heroic (bashing or belittling Inuyasha as a consequence), when he's not. His whole grudge with Naraku can be boiled down to he tricked me once with an arm, then again when he kidnapped Rin. I mean, it's not even as good as Kouga's, and his wolves deserved what they got (that's right I said it. Too bad nobody agrees with me).

As always, great chapter. I know exactly how Sesshy and Rin feel, I can't wait to have my own kids so bad it hurts. Everytime I look at my nephew how I wish he were mine. He's just so cute, until he starts climbing onto things, throwing his toys, and repeating the occasional curse word I let fly while he's riding in the car with me. Anyways, can't wait to read more. Another wonderful chapter. I love it and can't seem to stop smiling while read. It truely light up my day. Oh yeah, Sesshomaru's icy heart is slowly melting. I hope he doesn't do something stupid, like steal the baby and screw everything up. Come on Inuyasha, you have to be a little more understanding. Now wouldn't it be great if baby Inutaro could talk. I truelly believe that he could be the bridge between his father and uncle. Well now the holiday is coming up soon and I would like to take this oppurtunity to wish you and your family a warm, joyous, and loving holiday and throughout the coming new year. :)
