I know exactly how you feel about Sess's fur.

It's called "mokomoko-sama" I think (though I don't know why), but either way works. I don't call it that either.

"he idly wondered what the fallout would be if he were to kill the eastern lord." lol that was one of my fav lines this chapter :p i wonder who/what this new possible enemy is and what their purpose is and what effect it may have on sesshoumaru and inuyasha.. glad they're on their way to sturaki once again though..

i liked reading all of sesshoumaru's observations on inuyasha, kurasko, and that whole situation.. especially his amusement at inuyasha not knowing who the guy was and realizing and wondering what exactly inuyasha had noticed in his appraisal of the kitsune that was unsatisfactory.. and it was sweet of sesshy to use mokomoko-sama to pick up inuyasha and is carrying him so he can sleep ^__^

..uh, yeah, mokomoko-sama.. in case you want to know it's real name, though 'fur accompaniment' works just fine too.. but y'know, just in case... (taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sesshoumaru ) "Mokomoko-sama : It is the fluffy, scarf-like item on Sesshoumaru's shoulder. Mokomoko-sama is generally called "The Fluff" by fans. Sesshoumaru can extend it to great lengths, and use it to whip or constrict people. The creator, Rumiko Takahashi stated that when she was creating Sesshoumaru, the thing was suppossed to be armor, but she went a little out of hand. In episode 35 of the anime, both ends of the fluff were claimed to be seen, therefore allowing one to assume that it is detachable. Sesshoumaru's father had two mokomoko-sama, that extended from the shoulders like Sesshoumaru's." (and another place with info: http://www.ear-tweak.com/ramblings/keh_inupapa.htm "the nickname for Sesshoumaru's shoulder-fur thing ("mokomoko-sama") began.... when Rumiko Takahashi called the fur by that name in an interview on Web Sunday.")

    anyway, til next time

It would be foolish to believe he would kill him. It would clearly result in chaos......which to Sesshoumaru, would be an annoyance

The guys are taking their act on the road –a Feudal, youki kind of Crosby and Hope show! Lots of misunderstanding from both sides (they don’t know how to communicate with each other and can’t seem to do it with without resorting to violence or taunting). Thanks for the front row seat! Nice job of showing what each of them are thinking about the same subject– they are both at total odds with each other.

I don’t think either of them are out of character too much; after all, they are both suffering from a bad case of raging youki hormones and are not able to think very clearly. Anything could happen. What would happen if Inuyasha decided to use the same ‘Inuyouki Psychology 101’ methods on his brother as Sesshoumaru did to get him to talk? Sesshoumaru could really find himself not behaving as a ‘Lord’ should.

Would you consider listing the translations for Sturaki and Kurasko (and any other characters that we get to meet) when you are finished? Just for the fun of it I tried to track down Sturaki and wound up in some totally unexpected places! It doesn’t seem to be Japanese. Quit a few websites pointed me towards biblical references and from what I could figure out, it has something to do with the ability to conceive. And then there was one site that brought up the word ‘stork’ (the symbol for baby delivery jumped to mind!) as a derivative. I’m not having any luck with Kurasko at all. Looking forward to your next chapter!

Great chapter! sess does strike me as possesive sometimes. Poor inu, if his life wasn't stressful enough. Sess needs to admit his feelings. i can't wait to read more! PLEASE update soon!!!

Aw. *blushes* Anytime you need a little help, I'm here. Yup, and that's the kind of protection I was talking about. Now, Sesshoumaru really needs to know what the hell is going on with him. He doesn't seem to be any closer to reconciling with his youkai. The king of denial. Yup. It's going to take a hell of a lot more to get it through his thick skull that there is no justifiable reason to reject Inuyasha as his mate. Hihi. It would be funny if they were swarmed with demons wanting to mate them both. LOL Sorry, bunny trail that. Um...meds making me loopy. I really believe that Inuyasha needs to be seriously threatened and injured in order for Sesshoumaru's youkai to finally take over and say 'Enough of this shit!' LOL Well, great chapter and I anxiously await the next.

Hooray! Another fantastic update! This was one of my favorite lines: “Yo, moron, use your nose or, hell, use your eyes even. I’m not a girl!” I really think the pause between "or, hell, use your eyes even!" is hilarious! Great job! Update soon!

    WOW!

I turn my back for five seconds, and WHAM! You give us two updates!

And what very good updates they are! -- This is really starting to get interesting! Are you actually gonna make it Mpreg, or are you gonna cut off and have that in a sequel or something?

Things are certainly heating up for Sesshoumaru! It looks like Inuyasha will be giving him an earful and I think the seer Sturaki will get her digs in too. Every nasty thing Sesshoumaru has done and said to Inuyasha is going to come back on his head. I feel a bit sorry for Sesshoumaru - he is in such deep denial. He needs to let his inner demon loose per Sturaki ('...be open...') and listen up to it. He is such a control freak! LOL

The story is moving along quite nicely I think. It's a good thing that the rest of Inuyasha's 'pack' is out of the picture for a while. The brothers need some time to together. Take care!
