Pinky and the Brain in disguise? OMG....the visual is freaking hilarious! Hey, gotta find the laughs in the middle of the darkness....not that it is a bad thing 'cause I LOVE SoG! Kag's dad is the gem I thought he would be...complete & utter asshole! The boys road trip & 'visit' with dear ole Da' aint's gonna be pretty, is it? I am so on the edge of my chair waiting for the next chappie. And I am sure the return of Oberon is not far off, eh?

Oh, Jak's back. . .I kinda pictured the drop down drag out with daddy to be a little more screaming and a lot less whimpering, but she did get her spine straighter toward the end. Her dad is a major douche and it's just sad to have him show up at such a painful time and blame everything on her again, but you must his the bottom before you can find your footing and climb back up -- and now, she has nothing left to lose. "This passion, and the death of a dear friend, would go near to make a man look sad." - MidSummer Act V. Scene I."And so beguile thy sorrow, till the heavens Reveal the damned contriver of this deed." - Titus Andronicus Act IV. Scene I.
And here I was starting to like Kikyou. . . spoiled little bitch. I actually felt sorry for her from that scene with her mystery man -- but not now.. .she had to go run to daddy. At least Sesshiles is coming around. Let's hope his dilemma saves our poor Inu some headache and heartbreak, although he's pretty good at digging that up on his own. Great chapter! Can't wait for the next one. . .

You can't even begin to know how happy I was to see that you had updated this story.. I was giddy with joy this morning as I got to read another wonderful chappy.. Sorry you were sick but glad you got to write a bit... Hope to see more soon but I never hold it against anyone for taking their time with pieces of art such as this.

Omg, I cried SO hard when Sesshoumaru met his son. It was SO sweet. Seriously, this is one badass story and it deserves every review, award and nomination it gets!

It's been far too long since I've read this story and I forgot how much I missed it. Since I've had to refresh my memory and then play catch up, this review probably won't be too long since I'm not sure I will be able to pull my thoughts together after reading so much :)

I would like to say, though, that I don't see how Kagome is OOC in the last chapter. I was actually thinking, while reading, how well you did showing that she is far from being out of Bank's control. The psychological trauma he has caused her has reached out and spewed into every aspect of her life. I am hardly surprised to see her not trusting anyone around her. Although, I will admit that the romanticist in me cried a little when she refused to believe Inuyasha - because, really, I just want them to be happy and together. However, I like that you keep this sort of 'real life' and that it's messy and heart wrenching and cruel and dark because life is so often like that.

A few things that I really loved in the past...however many chapters I just read: Inuyasha telling Rin he would help her out (that entire scene with Ken was so heart warming), the appearance of 'Jiro (because he is hilarious and strangely perceptive, which I think Inuyasha will benefit from), and, as always, Miroku and his damn mouth (masturbated in the grapefruit...Hahahaha...that line was so frakin' funny I nearly fell out of my chair).

As for the cliffie...well, I for one, don't mind. I think I've been reading this story almost as long as you've been writing it and you're such a brilliant story teller that I can wait a little longer to find out what happens next...just not, you know, too long :)

Great chapter. Such emotion and raw power. And Yasha as an Inu, not once but twice!! 'Jiro and Guitar Hero was brilliant as well. I think you did a great job of "rationalizing" Kagome's thoughts and conclusions, after all, are we not our own worst enemy? And throwing back in the Shakespeare was a really nice touch. MidSummer has so many nice lines about players and stages. Twelfth Night has a few good ones too. And it was classic how you did the Sha/Yasha connection like we were talking about a while back.
Have fun finishing your moving. . .can't wait for the next chapter.

Damn, hell hath no fury like a Miko scorned. And I can't help but wonder if the anguish and betrayal Kagome is feeling will make her tell dear old Cousin Kikyo that her formerly loving fiancee is a hanyou. That ought to put a monkey wrench in dear old Daddy's plans. I really hope that she does. The cheating conniving wench ought to be taken down two or three pegs.

Cannot wait for more.

I have no sympathy for her that this piont. Because she is placing the blame on eeveryone around her with the exception of herself. Sango is no help either. She has someone to care for her and if Kagome doesn't date the person she approves of, tell ALL of her secrets or basically let her run her life then its wrong. At least I can say that Miroku is a bigger and better friend than Sango is right now. Kagome has done things that has caused alot of pain, but she is too busy with her head up her butt that she can't see straight.

Now that we know what the real story is behind the Taisho family when are we going to see their problems start to be worked out. Sess is married with a hanyou 'love' child(like father/like son), but has left his wife, Inuyasha has made a mess of his relationship with Kikyo, Jiro I like him, and then there is their father with his "I owe the world" attitude. What happened to the guy that Kikyo was talking to in the diner? And the question of the year is when is Kagome going to stop feeling sorry for her self, hop down off her high horse and really start to trust the people around her with the truth so that she can get her life back on track?

Oh my gosh, I'm seriously going to die if you don't update this soon! I can't take it! Kagome...gah!! Someone slap some sense into that girl! I'm losin' it over here! Obviously, I'm devastated for her, but I also feel horrible for InuYasha. The poor guy thought he was just about to make things right, and BAM!! Up shit creek again!!

By the way, I loved the scene with him at Rin's place. Very appropriate, and necessary. I do wonder why Kenren doesn't have inu ears, though...? Just curious; not really a big deal, I suppose. Hopefully Sesshomaru will still get his ass beat in, though, because he deserves it, too. Again. XD

Seriously, you have no idea how excited I get when this story is updated. Please please please, do what you can to help me out so I don't have to get checked in to the loony bin from Shades of Gray withdrawal!! AAAHHH!! It's starting already!....

You're writing is great, it's obvious you put alot of time and work into this and I dare say it pays off well.
