Well at least Shippo is finally learning not to rush into his questions. It's a good thing he's not pouting instantly and throwing a tantrum, either, that Kagome's not there. He really needs to take more from Rin's influence, though. Loved how one stern look from Sesshomaru silenced him, though! He knows who will lay down the law, doesn't he? The assassin sounded a lot like Bankotsu, yet didn't have half his charm (if such a person can have that. I rather liked Bankotsu for the brief period he was in the manga arc.) I thought it was nice that Kaede was the one to figure he was probably hired by Naraku. I'm sure it's crossed a few of the other's minds. And I liked how Miroku was thinking of the “pack” when he tried to get Shippo to stop asking questions before Koga could find out by accident in another Shippo-blurt about her true time. He knows how dangerous that would be! Even if Koga's an ally, it's just not a good idea for him to know. Naraku is going to have one of the biggest shocks this time. He's all set up to watch his traps unfold, and all he needs is his popcorn, but when he gets his main feature he'll be sorely sorry. And I have to say, for all the talk about the “best assassin to walk the earth,” he certainly didn't seem as impressed with him as he led on. He figures that his new pawn has enough skill to kill off Sesshomaru, but not enough to eliminate him. IF he believed in the assassin as much as he touted him, he would have thought twice about hiring him. It's obvious that regardless of what happened with Inuyasha and Kagome that our little spider planned his pawn's death from the beginning. I am rather surprised, though, that he didn't simply absorb the guy and spit him back out as a re-useable pawn that he can dispose of at will. He may have promised Keikaiyari the Western Lands, but I doubt had he actually succeeded Keikkaiyari would have enjoyed them! I felt really bad for Mama as she had to watch Kagome be taken care of. How Kagome, though, to be less concerned about her own wounds than if Inuyasha was alright or not. I liked how they managed to get their messages straight on Inuyasha's current status. Now, the lying she did was wonderful. Makes me wish she had lied so well in the third movie about saying sit. I swear, I've wanted to send a few of the Inuyasha Cast to Lying 101, Naraku first on the list, actually. He's an awful liar sometimes. Speaking of expert lying! Just WHERE did Souta learn how to do that? He ought to teach our little spider better techniques. I liked how he was also unafraid of transformed Inuyasha, knowing it was something that happened because he wanted to keep her safe. And the panic over his sword, great. I've always wondered why he walks around her time, goes to her school, wanders through the streets, ect, and no one EVER seems to notice that he's got a sword. I liked how Sesshomaru wanted answers, but used his better judgment on reviving him. That does make me wonder, though, if Naraku won't be able to salvage something and use a jewel shard on our tiger, ala Band of Seven. I wonder how much of the bones Sesshomaru melted, if it was complete enough. Poor Inuyasha, trapped at the hospital with his hurt mate. Hell, he doesn't even really know how to say the damn word. Nice touch having him give her blood, yet be so shy about it at the same time. And does he ever need to get his mind outta the gutter. CUDDLE, not have sex, silly, when it comes to warming up. Sheesh. Way to go Sesshomaru, realizing that the Inu gang is a bit more powerful than he had ever wanted to admit before. Yay! Koga, Koga, Koga. What ever will we do with him. At least he had the good sense not to rag on Inuyasha too, too much after Sesshomaru growled. He needs to learn to hold his tongue just as much as Shippo does. Mama sure was surprised to find all those diamonds. I have a funny feeling they probably have the worth alone to set Kagome and everyone at the shrine up for life. Good sense on that nurse's part, not kicking Inuyasha out of that bed with his mate. It would have gotten ugly, fast. Yay, the joy of bladders! At least he could help her there even if she did kick him out. Kaede, so wise, she knows that Sesshomaru does anything and everything for Rin, even if he won't admit it. Tricking him into breakfast cause she knows Rin will want to see him, that's almost mean. And now with Kikyo there, I wonder what Sesshomaru will say to her. It'll be interesting to say the least. And now I must go off and make my own story WORK. Argh.

Sigh. Shippo better be careful with that attitude of his. He's starting to get a bit whiney and when he does that, he starts to get into trouble. If he doesn't look out, someone might lay down the law, again. And if he keeps it up, someone will give him something more to worry about than some singed hair. Liked how Rin made him admit he liked playing with her. I loved how Sesshomaru and Kaede had a slight battle of wills there. They are often never shown in the same scene in any fanfiction, but I think that even Sesshomaru would have to admit that although she's human, she is also wise. It's nice to see these two interact beyond slight passings. They have to form a team in some respects to teach both Inuyasha and Kagome, and so they're on the same page. And trouble from these bad, bad youkai. What is the matter with this tiger demon? He obviously didn't do his homework. Some assassin he was. He should have known better to charge in boasting. He should have gone to Sesshomaru for lessons. You do it stealthily and quickly without warning. Not this showing up and shouting and bantering. Sheesh. Who taught him how to go about that, anyways? He's lucky that he had a quick death. Inuyasha certainly made sure he'll never ever assassinate any one else again. And come on, thinking you can take out Sesshomaru after you get rid of Inuyasha? Was he that insane? Get real. I suspect that there is more to this little attack than meets the eye. I can't imagine that this tiger, who's supposed to be so good at what he does that he's “unstoppable” as Koga put it, would screw up this bad. Methinks Naraku has something to do with it, somehow. I would not be surprised if he did something. The strange thing? No jewel shard, so I'm not entirely sure how he pulled it off. The fact that he even mentions Naraku is enough to lead to the conclusion he's been manipulated and/or controlled in some manner. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I still say mister tiger was lucky that Kagome was injured. Lord only knows what a fully transformed Inuyasha might do if he had more time to torture a victim. I am curious, though. They will all return to Kaede's hut and discuss what has happened. What will Rin do upon seeing Koga? Will she be afraid or react? Or will she and Shippo not be in the room or near when they're talking? I loved the way Inuyasha was portrayed in his full demon state, so primal and instinctive, yet still tender with Kagome. He sure didn't know what to do about going to a hospital. His poor nose. He can't like the stench hospitals have. I'm anxious to see what happens with Kagome's arm, and what happens to everyone else.

Finally, I am all caught up here. Three chapters all at once...I feel like Nikkie! Starting with chapter five, poor Shippo. He just doesn't get anything about the adults. At least he was smart enough this time not to say anything Miroku and Sango when they came into the hut. I think it's a neat to have Kagome be the on Hojo went to for advice concerning Yuka. It's too bad Grandpa doesn't seem to realize that Inuyasha and Kagome's mating runs way deeper than human marriage. Nice touch with Mama cutting him off way before he could get going. The best deterrent to keep Shippo from flying at the well has to be Sesshomaru. Even if he wasn't at the well or near it, they just oughta tell him that no matter what. It seems to work. And the one who would get the biggest kick out of it? Sesshomaru. As if he'd really go out of his way to kill the kit...unless he was stupid enough to hurt Rin, that is. Liked how Inuyasha waited until they were alone in the well house to make sure he was back to normal. It was a nice touching moment. At least Shippo's finally realized he shouldn't barrel at Kagome at full speed. And poor Inuyasha...I still think he's gotta talk with the monk a bit more, especially now that the two have gone all the way. I knew Miroku wouldn't be able to hold back on telling about Shippo's...mishap. He did ask for it after all, I guess. Poor Sango feels left out with the lessons, but at least she knows she'll have her part later. Soap on a Rope..that's too funny. This image had to be one of the best of the whole chapter: Both of Sesshomaru’s eyebrows had disappeared somewhere up under his bangs. Poor thing, he was so surprised. Isn't it fun making him surprised? I liked how it led him to think about having someone to protect, too. He oughta think about it sometime. Kikyo's almost there. She's almost got it. She just needs to realize that it's not up to her to destroy Naraku. After all, the dark hanyou's screwed over a few people. Sure, it's kind of her fault that he exists, but still. Liked how Koga and Kikyo made sure they were on the same page. Poor, poor Naraku's gonna be so disappointed. And silly Sesshomaru. He should know better by now than to test them on things like that. Boy did he get a big surprise from Kagome's temper, though. I bet he's much more careful how he does something like that next time. Chapter six..oh dear. It seems even if Miroku can get what he wants, he still can't win. He should realize that groping...especially in public...won't get him anywhere. Silly, silly man. I liked how Inuyasha took care of Kagome after she wore herself out. That should most certainly put any of Sango's doubts about Inuyasha's intentions to rest. Naraku just doesn't learn. He oughta take the time to really learn the phrase “do it yourself” cause ever time he uses someone else to do his dirty work it just creates so much work for him later. I almost feel sorry for him, because all the people he thinks will kill off all his enemies will turn on him instead. Just a little, but not too, too much, mind you. Liked how the brothers finally could talk telepathically. They're just so stubborn, especially Inuyasha. What a nasty, nasty trick for Sesshomaru to play, though, even for a lesson. At least he gave Inuyasha some great advice! As for the marks burning, is that only when the sex is consensual, or will they react in a similar fashion if say Kagome is raped? Because if she is ever taken and for whatever reason is unable to defend herself and Inuyasha has to find her, it'd be a nice feature, especially to speed him to wherever she is. And again, surprising Sesshomaru, telling him about all the instances where the gang got trapped in illusions and managed to get out of it. He really didn't know before all of this just how much power his baby brother's got. Glad that Sango and Miroku had sometime together, even if Sango is shy about doing that in the afternoon. And oh my, Inuyasha giving the “talk.” He did better than I thought he'd fare. I figured he'd stutter and tell him to wait until he was much older to understand. Liked how Kagome giggled at Inuyasha's example of him being with Sango. As if that'd happen. Chapter seven—I liked how Inuyasha was uncomfortable being cuddled up in the hut, yet let Kagome rest her head in his lap. I'm glad Inuyasha realized how much it hurt Kagome when he would run off to Kikyo. That can only make them stronger. And no matter how much Sesshomaru tries to hide it, he has a sense of humor. So it's dry and understated, but it's there! Loved how he poked fun at Inuyasha for wondering who talked to him telepathically, as if he expected someone else. Sesshomaru's very lucky, though, that when he sprung his little illusion on Kagome that she didn't smack him. I like how Kagome uses little modern phrases that just totally confuse Inuyasha or Sesshomaru. They just don't have any response to them. I like the diamond field. Inuyasha just likes to show off sometimes. And the lemon was very hot. And Kagome...so impatient. That's just naughty of her. There. I'm all caught up and have reviewed, too! I hope it made your morning, and I can't wait to see what happens next in the story.

Okay, trying this again. . .stupid daily server update. So Naraku is going around and telling everyone that Inuyasha and Kagome are having tons of hot, hot, monkey sex in the forest, eh? Someone should tell him to get a hobby, or a girlfriend, or something. Nice touch with Koga being told. He may be dense as a box of rocks sometimes, but he isn't stupid. We know that from the way he reacted to the first time Inuyasha tried to use the Wind Scar on him. He knew that there was something wrong when this incarnation of Naraku told him what was going on. Smart of him to keep what he knows to himself. I have a funny feeling Naraku will be disappointed when Koga shows up and doesn't try to lay the smack down on Inuyasha. I loved how he said he had accepted their mating. He said it to his pack mates, not to Inuyasha and Kagome, which means he must really, really mean it then. Which is good. It seems then that Kikyo is the only one I'm really worried about then. What will she do to the two of them, or rather try to do? I can't imagine that she'll be all that happy by these turn of events. I loved the lemon between Miroku and Sango. It was awkward yet arousing all at the same time. I absoutely loved it when Sango said: Sango creased her brows, she needed more than this. “Is that all there is to it?” She seemed so disappointed and let down by it all, like "That's all to it? This is what Kagome wants all the time? Big deal." It would figure that she'd have no hymen to worry about, though. She probably lost it when she was rather young, due to her warrior woman thing and riding Kirara all the time. I'm glad Sango can finally understand where Kagome is coming from, though. I hope she will apologize and make up with her friend so they're not always at odds about Inuyasha and Kagome mating a lot. I do have to wonder, though, will Inuyasha kill Miroku? He did tell Miroku that he couldn't go all the way with Sango and that it was his responsiblity to prevent Sango from getting pregnant under any circumstances. I wonder how that will all shake out. I can't imagine Inuyasha, as a pack leader, will take a pack mate disobeying a direct order all that well. And I loved the lemons between Inuyasha and Kagome. I think that Kagome ought to buy a two by four to beat Inuyasha, though. Maybe she'll get through to him that he's not going to disappoint her if she did. Once he got past his shyness, though, things did get steamy. It was adorable the way he fell asleep after it, though. And I loved the way they were mating nice and slow as he transformed. Nice touch to have Kagome be able to see that happen while they were...occupied. It added a lot to it. And will someone PLEASE smack Shippo? When will he learn to leave the adults alone for awhile. He had Rin to spend time with, so that should have been enough. He's damn luck that he had her with him, at all, after what he did to Jaken. Sesshomaru could have very easily forbid Rin to spend time with Shippo as a punishment to the kit. She would have known why she couldn't play with the boy, and that it wasn't HER fault and that she wasn't in any trouble. Shippo got off a little easy there on Sesshomaru's part, if you ask me. That boy will have to learn to entertain himself and be patient. The adults need their time, it doesn't mean they won't ever spend any with him. Sheesh. He's come so far but he's still a brat! I can't wait to see what will happen next. I just hope that when Kikyo shows up things won't be that messy and we'll have to see Naraku be soooooo disappointed.
