I have just read your ff and its wunderfull *.*
I�m disapointed abaut behaviour from Sango and Miroku :(
Sango and Miroku wear in my eyes at last not SO stupid, but
I must admit that I don�t know those two very well. ^^�
That they don�t have Kagome put in her place made me angry.
Kagome, in my eyes, should just shut up und leave.
Because of her Inuyasha could flatline in every battel,
as for her inanity.
(I don�t like her very much ^^�)

Okay, I had to review. This fic is too good not too. There is so much in here that I can't possibly touch on all of it.

You had said that your characters were way OOC. Not true. Inuyasha is very much true to form. And it is very plausible that Sesshoumaru has absolutely no sense of direction. After all, when we see him, he is always just wandering around. Through it all, he is still us arrogant self. I found his lack of a sense of direction wonderfully amusing. Great job there.

Lately, I had been considering the speech with which everyone has been depicting for Sesshoumaru, including me. Actually, in the Japanese versions of the anime (not sure about the manga), Sesshoumaru is depicted as cussing. Although you have Sesshoumaru doing quite a bit of it, I can see it as plausible. However, in this fic, he is still his arrogant self. That pact that he made with Inuyasha was very well done. He would make it appear as though Inuyasha was the one in need. Plus, as often as Sesshoumaru has helped Inuyasha and his group, it is obvious that he would not let Inuyasha die and would actually help Inuyasha. Warming Inuyasha with his tail added more to that concept. It was warm and touching that he would go that far to help Inuyasha even though he knew that Inuyasha would be fine once the sun rose.

Inuyasha is still brash, still bold and courageous in the face of overwhelming odds. He has learned to live on his own, something that can be deduced by his history. You don't need to worry about OOC'ness. I think that you had mentioned not being very familiar with the series. Doesn't matter. You are doing just fine. The only part that confused me a bit was why Inuyasha would make the pact. He has been alright up until now. I need to read that part again.

I must have been half asleep because I didn't understand how the enchanted beads came off of Inu. I'll re-read that. But, man, after learning that he never went back to Kagome, I am worried about what will happen when they meet up again. That is scary. And Sesshoumaru's upset and concern over Inuyasha not being in the protection of the village was very touching.

I found so much of your fic amusing. Sesshoumaru's approach/avoidance issue is a great setup for beginning a relationship between them and is the cornerstone for much of the amusement. Oh, the rat is so fantabulous that it makes me wonder if it is more than it seems. Inuyasha befriending it was sweet and adds dimension to his character. Oh, gods! Sesshoumaru hunting the rat was absolutely hilarious. It may be OOC, but how would we know? We rarely see him out of warrior mode. Therefore, I have no problem with it. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, "pain in the tail". That was great!

Your descriptions are awesome, leaving moving pictures within one's mind. The fight scene between a human Inuyasha and lesser demons was wonderfully illustrated. I can always see the environment and elemental occurances in my mind. Also, facial descriptions are great too.

Now we get to the more personal things. Inuyasha attempting to groom himself was a great first step in actually accepting Sesshoumaru. He is imitating his brother. That was a great insight and addition to the story. You are growing the character's relationship at a nice even pace, not hopping them into the sack without building their relationship. Sesshoumaru's observation of Inuyasha outside of battle was a great addition and gave Inuyasha much more dimension. And there is Sesshoumaru's care of Rin, which also helps in his characterization. He would do anything for Rin.

OMG! Poor Sesshoumaru getting all worked up over Inu licking his hand. I about died! That was great! Inuyasha's heart palpitations when Sesshoumaru invades is space is very exciting. You are gradually building the sexual tension. I love it.

Now we come to political intrigue. Inuyasha's reaction was so sad, despite Sesshoumaru's confidence. It made me wonder if Sesshoumaru, without his arm, could actually win all the challenges that this would incur. However, with Inuyasha by his side, I'm sure that there would be no contest. Sesshoumaru seems to be considering the possibility of bringing Inuyasha back into the fold. There would probably be less resistance if Sesshoumaru could spiff up Inuyasha to look more like their father, ponytail and all that jazz. That would be excellent bonding opportunity. It would present him as more formidable. There is already the tales of his conquests. He has a reputation. There is also the fact that he can wield his father's sword. Standing together with his brother would be an awesome sight, something that I would relish. However, Inuyasha is likely to abandon the cave in order to keep his brother from being challenged. That would be sad. How you plan to resolve that issue for Inuyasha has my koinu ears perking up. heheh.

One last thing. I feel so sad for Inuyasha. His treatment at the hands of his friends is very unfair, but in character. The only one out of character is Kagome and I know that this is a part of the intrigue in your plot. The fact that Kikyou is missing is a mystery and I have a feeling that our very intelligent Sesshoumaru is already solving that puzzle. If there is anyone who can put the pieces together, it is him.

I look forward to what you have planned next. There are so many possibilities! I know that I did not touch on everything, but this is the best I can do for now. ^_^

I really like this story, it is one of the best I've read and you have a real knack for developing a story. I wish I were more like you, I want to write a real in depth story and all I get is senseless lemons which seem more like boring repitive porn. When we fina;;y get some action going here it will be worthwhile so do take your time. I think you are a genius with words and description. I can only hope that my writings may mature to your degree in the future.

O.O! Just happened to run into this fiction.. and I LOVE IT! Wow! Completely took me off gaurd with the whole thing! I love it. The characters stay in character and everythings really flows together nicely. Jan. 15.. I can handle that. Well I'm excited for more. I can't wait!

Man, I just found this story and I love it. I think the quirky little personality traits of Sehssoumaru's (getting lost, hating the rat) make a constant thread of humor run through the story, on top of the humorous bits between inu and sessh.

I am wildly curious what the hell's going on with Kagome, whether she'd just being a bitch, or if it's something more sinister.

I like how you are developing the characters. yes, a litlte ooc, but I figure that a story of one's own always does that as you develop the characters to fit how your mind sees them. I must say, I get a huge kick out of how YOUR mind seem 'em! I'm laughing, and having 'aw' moments, and I'm looking forward to the rest.

Oh, and congrats on this story. I think I remember reading in the first chapter that this was your first story. Welcome to the club of fan fiction writing! I think it gets a little addictive. I just wrote my first one this year, and after reading some of my first yaoi at the same time, just started writing my first yaoi as well this month. I think you're story is wonderful, especially for having only the movies to go on, and considering how much I'm enjoying this part of it, I can't imagine any sexual bits will be anything but fantastic.

I am loving this... the character interactions are just great... Inuyasha and Sess are just hilarious at some points and so serious at others. The psycotic rat was a nice touch. The underlying mysteries are very intriging.
