Ive loved it from the get-go. I'm just horrid at reviewing.
After reading your comments at the end of the last chapter I didn't want you to become discouraged. I'm sure I'm repeating a lot of what other reviewers have said. I don't care how long you take to update, its always worth the wait. It's original and well written. Character development is essential to a good story. I have enjoyed knowing the back-story to your version of the characters we know and love. I Love Lemons but they are always much better with a developed relationship in life and in fiction.

Thank you so much for sharing this story, I look forward to reading S'more... soon I hope ^_^

I read the passage you wrote at the end of Ch 22 (currently your latest chapter) and I must admit that it made me very guilty. Now, I don't hate or dislike anything about your story. In fact I love it, I check my computer at least twice a day (once in the morning, once at night) just to see if you've updated. However that you are getting those kinds of reviews bothers me because it seems that they're affecting you more than the good reviews are. That and I haven't reviewed at all. So here's something I hope will make you feel better and put them from your mind...

You're story is wonderful, I don't think I can reiterate this enough.
I'm anxious to have them finally get together, very much so. I think everyone who reads this is, just so Sesshoumaru won't die and so they can have their happy ending. However, I'm never dissatisfied with a new chapter when you post it. I will admit that I've read each chapter from top to bottom about three times each. Every time it puts me at the edge of my seat, cursing at Sesshoumaru for his idiocy, feel embarrassed for him when he can't 'get it up', or yelling at Kagome's boys for some stupid thing I know they're about to do, sighing in relief when they stop fighting each other to protect her. That you can make a reader react like that is, to me, a sign of a great author. The way you write everything is utterly brilliant.

The past chapters, I think, are completely necessary. I don't think I would be able to understand this story were they not there. Especially why Miroku, Bankotsu, and Inu-Yasha get along so well (and I'm very much hoping to find out about Shippou's introduction to the little group soon!), I'd think they'd be tearing each other to pieces within an hour. It's also been a great way to see how much Sesshoumaru has been suffering (personally, I would have scoffed if I hadn't that information, thinking that Sesshoumaru was too strong for something like that) and to see how much he loved -obsessed over- Kagome. The absence of these chapters would detract from the story instead of making it better.

I hope that this has made up for my lack of reviewing (though I'm sure if I never said anything you would have never known) and please know that I'm an avid reader and fan who awaits (semi) patiently for your chapters and any other story that leaps into your imagination. (I squealed like a little girl when I saw 'Love Bites' go up. Honest to God, no lying. I scared the crap out of my dog.)

Also, please remember that, while you get many negative reviews, I'd bet you my life that there's three times as many people out there who love your work and wouldn't change a thing about them. But... they're very much like I am and are too idiotic to remember to leave a kind word or two.

Please keep up the good work, and know that, while we are unfortunately silent, we are still here adoring you.

I have been a loyal fan of this story since the beginning. I dont know why i havent made a review yet but I really wanted to come by and let you know how i feel on the story.

This is a fabulous story. The sub plot, background and story line are excellent. I havent seen this kind of well rounded structure on this site. I think your story is best selling novel category and I really believe that you have what it takes to make a story of your own characters. Im voting for it!! This is one of my favorites and if there was a favorites list. I sure would add it! Im a writer on here by my name if you wanted to share your stories or check out mine but i warn, all of mine are under construction right now.

I cant wait until the new chapter because i know its going to tell a bit more of the connection and joining of kags and sesshomaru. I like the past chapters of when you add the history, it adds depth to the story as well as gives it a strong bond. This is unlike anything that i have read and i enjoy the fact that its different because it is extra ordinary with a difference but stays true to our favorite inuyasha characters. Big 5+ to you. Keep in touch and i will be checking out your other stories. I cant wait to see how this spicy and sweet love story turns out. You got potential chick. I could see your name on a book. I would check into that if i were you, there are fans who love your work and im sure someone would give you a contract. I would definantly buy the books. Thank you again for writing this story. Im a mom too and its good to get away and surround myself with a different world. Your story gives me something to look forward to when im in for a great read and when my son naps, like i actually have a life to enjoy in this story and it is a reminder of high school love. It gives me butterflies to think of this story and sweet puppy.

I must say I have been following this story for a while now. Each time I see a new chapter up it makes me smile and I have to drop everything else I am doing untill I am done reading the newest chapter. I can't wait for the next chapter! Great Job!!

Just ignore those people who want you to rush your story. For I like the fact that you put a lot of background information into it, hell that's what makes an author. For you can really see everything going on in your mind of what's happening. So keep up the good work, and I can't wait until you update again. Thank you.

Nice chapter :) I did get a little confused at first, because I thought the past chapters were more about Kagome finding her four friends..but then i remembered the past ones at the beginning haha. annnyways. yes. good chapter :)
and also- as a side note about your authors note. don't listen to those people that want you to speed it up and stuff. I mean I'll admit that I wish the story was moving on faster..but that's not because you're dragging it out..it's more because it'sr eally good and i want to see what happens next. But the past chapters really do give an insight into how this whole thing has been developing. I mean..Sesshomaru has been pining after her for..4 years? 5? And it makes much more sense to see why he's never said anything to her, rather than assuming he didn't do anything because he's sesshomaru and that's that..if that makes sense haha. So. Go you for taking the time to make your story have depth!

Wow. Somebody has really irritated you. I know what you mean though. I just try to think of it as your fans are eager to read more of your work. Well, I enjoyed catching up on your updates. I do find all of the background intriguing, but they do make me interested in finding out more of what is going on in the present.

I know what you mean about a really busy life. I work full time (except during summer...) and have a lovely, imaginative son. We both do this for fun.

Again, I love this story and hope to see an update soon.

Don't be sad ! Don't listen mean people ! I find your story very good. Sure, I "hate" you when you don't break the suspense in the following chapter because we are "four years earlier", grrrr..... but that's part of your story's charm, and I like it, I ask it, I wait it. I'll tell you : that IS a pleasure to wait to see how poor Sessh will save his life...

Your story is wonderful and beatifully written. I love the depth you go into to describe the situation, then extent to which the characters have gone. It makes them feel more real, as if one could turn the corner one day and litterally mean them. I'm very picky with the FanFics I read.

As I've said a hundred times about Role Plays and FanFictions - I like ham in my hamsandwich.

Basicly, if that line is confusing, what I mean is I like a good, well thought plot. A good story has to have sustinance within it.

A good story needs a good plot, just like a good ham sandwich needs ham in it. The cheese {graphic scenes between the main characters} is just a bonus. ;)

Keep up the good work. Sorry to hear you didn't get First Place in the contests, you deserved it. And whatever anyone says negatively about your stories.. Always remember, It's your world and your story. The characters are just borrowed. It would be just as marvelous if the characters were not from Inuyasha.

Personally, I'm not a Kagome/Sesshomaru fan. Hell, I'm not a KAGOME fan, period. But I love your story. As I said, there's so much depth to the characters, that they seem almost real. I can almost see the story unfolding before my eyes like a TV show.

Keep up the good work. And take your time. Rome wasn't built in a day, after all. And whatever anyone says, it didn't fall that way either. *laughs*

it is a beautiful story and i look forward to each new chapter. i love that its not rushed ,the characters and their stories are devoloping at the wonderful pace . i like the flashback chapters that show how kagome meets each guy and how they became friends. this story is by far one of my most favorates . and i cant wait for more.

I am completely addicted to your writing. You have talent for sure! The "past chapters" that people are bitching about are a necessity to this story. I believe it is what gives the story more depth than the average fluff story. It's hard to find writing of this quality these days...Nice work m'dear. Keep it up! But definitely keep your priorities in line ;)

In my opinion, all of your sess/kag rocks. I understand why you don't update often, and it just makes the anticipation and the joy of seeing a chapter that much more interesting and better. I love this story and i really like how you've included sesshoumaru's beast in this. It makes sense with his character to add it as he seems rather emotionless and cold despite his passion for battle (which i think is his beasts doing) I am really looking forward to more chapters, and don't worry, i also enjoy the wait for them
