Sweet Lord, I love how you twist Kohaku's last canon conversation. You know, it didn't even register to me when I read the last chapter how dark and unfinished Kohaku's last scene was, how it's still sharp with regret, with actions his character would never willingly pursue. Your insight has knocked me off my feet and made me wonder how I could be so blind to such a blatant insinuation about his character; his battle is far from over, isn't it? It may never be over, and even in the "end" he's running and fighting alone. This piece definitely strikes a painful chord. Amazing work.
