I hope you don't take this as a flame because it isn't. The story does have a good plot but is hard to read.
The reason..
The way you add in your own remarks in ( ).
While I understand you want to explain, all those does make it hard to read the story. The remarks are sometimes not called for because you explained it in a few sentences before. Try to remove those and I have faith that this story will come out great.
