this is one of the worst fanfics i've ever read. not only are the characters completely OOC, which you don't even mention in your summary but the dialogue and description is weak and below amateur level at best. and the number of reviews you've gotten does nothing to reflect just how pathetic this story is. i mean the premise is good, inu going over the edge, but the character motivation and plot and reaction of other characters is completely off and implausible. your chapters can't even be considered chapters since you're just stringing along sentences and providing vague descriptions that, to take from what another reviewer said, seem like watered down "manga summaries." im sure that you are a somewhat decent writer and if you focus on actually making a story as opposed to writing things fit for tabloid "shock value" you might have a piece of work that makes sense and isn't utterly disgusting and debase.

Doesn't anyone think it unjust that this has accumulated 1.26 times the hits and 1.38 times the reviews of Resmiranda's "Tales from the House of the Moon", in less than a third of the time?

This is an absolute travesty!

I just don't know about this fic. There is just far too much M/M and OOC going on. Furthermore, the grammar is rough at times. It isn't as bad as some fics, but there are punctuation and capitalization mistakes that I find highly annoying. Also, your writing style feels highly watered-down, too cheaply plastic and stretched out for its own good. The text almost never turns into a decent paragraph, just waddling along from single sentence to single sentence. Worse, the whole thing reads like a manga summary done in the past-tense, so all in all, it just isn't a satisfying story. The whole thing is simply shock appeal turned into text.

Goodness. This is about as shocking as month old soda. Actually, the only thing that is shocking about this piece of tripe is the number of favorable reviews it has received.

Now, are you sure you're old enough to be writing for this site? Your writing seems to suggest not.
