I reviewed on mm.org but I just thought of something. The police have already seen Inuyasha. When Youkio describes the black-haired boy that attacked him, it will not match Inuyasha's hanyou appearance. Plus, hanyou Inuyasha will heal within a day or two and if the police do go see him again, he will not appear to have been in a fight or cut by glass on the face like Youkio will no doubt tell the police. You are very clever...very, very clever. ^_^
