Once again, you did a fantastic job.
I loved that line from chapter 20 "How dare this figment of his imagination taunt him so?" that was so funny (though what was happening to poor Inu wasn't).
That's an interesting POV of Shippo and Inuyasha's relationship, though. I don't think I've ever seen it done like that before. I've seen people go on about how Kagome's like a mother to him, but never Inuyasha.
It's great though-- you really make it work!

Excellent chapter. I like how you presented Inuyasha as a father figure. I truly believe that he acts and speaks that way in the televized anime. And, you just had to go and leave us at a cliffy. Humph! Good job.
