But I am smart enough to know the 400 was a joke. Too bad your previous reviewer didn't bother to look at the rest of your fic before expressing teh dumb.

Fang of Fire: The fic in question was written for a CONTEST COMMUNITY with the prompt "Babysitting" and the Word COUNT of 400. Hitting the word count exactly is a matter of pride for me; therefore a 400 word count IS something for me to brag about.
Even if the above were NOT true I have plentiful fic in which I never bother with word count because *gasp* they aren't written for a contest with prompts and word counts!!
