No, I don’t own him, but if I did, he’d never get out of the house!

This is my first fanfic, a one shot and hopefully an attempt to give back to the many REAL authors that have given me great pleasure over the months. Please be kind and hope you like it, if not, don’t read it!

Another note, I’ve finally found this story again, forgetting under what penname I wrote it under haha. I’ve worked on editing it a bit more. Hope you like it!

Landing Inuyasha

Kagome blushed bright pink...NOOO!!!! Sango smiled and said, “There’s nothing to be afraid of, it’s quite pleasurable, you should try it.” “I know you have strong feelings for Inuyasha, and he for you.”

“I don’t know,” Kagome said shaking her head back and forth slowly. “I mean, I want to, but I just can’t read Inuyasha, I don’t know how he feels.”

“Well, with my help and a confidence boost, I’ll tell you how to land him if that’s what you really want,” replied Sango smirking. Sango and Kagome then hatched out an idea they thought would work. Kagome had longed for Inuyasha’s lips and hands all over her, but she was afraid he didn’t "want" for her as much as she wished him too. Sango had convinced her that it was indeed mutual. She had noticed how he secretly watched her for short periods when he thought nobody was paying attention, how he paced and worried when she wasn’t back in time from her home in the future. He was jealous and possessive of her when other males were around, and protective at an instinctual level. Sango persuaded her buddy to look at the reality of Inuyasha’s feelings; they were quite plain if she really looked at them. Kagome decided to try a new strategy with Inuyasha.

At dinner, Inuyasha watched Kagome with growing interest. She didn’t seem to be giving him the time of day. He figured she was just “in one of her moods,” so he gave her space and the evening trickled on quietly. Inuyasha was definitely interested in Kagome that was a fact, but Inu lacked the courage to reach out with his true hidden side, his heart. He had grown used to fending for himself and himself alone. He had been shunned all his life except for his mother and Kikyo. He was grateful to Kikyo for her attentions and he had been attracted to her, mostly out of appreciation that she had spoken to him and showed interest, but Kagome was different. He could be himself around her; he could get mad, yell, scream, confide and most of all, trust her. She also fully accepted him for who he was-no exceptions. Kagome proved herself over and over again to be a faithful friend. Over time his attraction grew for her. He didn’t know exactly when it started, but probably about the time he first saw her in that river bathing, she was diffidently something beautiful to look at! He would never admit that in a million years, no way! He had a hard enough time just admitting that to himself. Inuyasha was left to fantasize about previous visions of Kagome when the camp slowly drifted off to sleep.

In the morning, Kagome was still not being her usual perky self, so when she went off to gather water for the group, he offered to escort her “for her own safety.” Shippo bounced up to go too, but Sango caught his arm and shook her head back and forth softly saying, “Give them a private moment.” Inuyasha and Kagome walked quietly for a while. Inuyasha watched Kagome carefully with quick sideways glances. She wouldn’t even look at him!

“Okay! Okay! What’s up? You mad at me or something?” questioned Inuyasha.

Kagome blushed a little, “No, no, just thinking about something that happed to me yesterday, that’s all. ”

“Well??? Spit it out! What happened?” inquired Inuyasha right on cue. Turning red, Kagome replied “Well, it’s embarrassing, I really don’t want to…” “Spit it out!” interrupted Inuyasha stopping and turning to face her expecting her to do the same.

“Gosh, Inuyasha…” continuing she said, “Well, I saw Miroku and Sango…ummm…”

“WHAT?” screamed Inuyasha?

“They were mating in the forest.” was Kagome’s reply in a small voice.

Shocked and turning equally red, Inuyasha kinda squeaked out an “Oh.” After a few moments he continued, “Yea, Miroku told me he was “with” Sango now.

Kagome gathered herself and added, “Yea, well I was wondering...”

Inuyasha rudely interrupted loudly stating, “OH NO!” “Your not using this as an excuse to press flesh with ME are you!”

Kagome shot Inu a hard glare, paused, and said, “No, Miroku said you wouldn’t be interested anyway, he’d ask Kouga in confidence to show me a few things.” Inuyasha’s face contorted even more when she added, “He said you’re probably not a real sexual person anyway. ”

Inuyasha’s jaw dropped to the ground, “WHAT!!!!” “He said WHAT??????” “I’m not sexua…I’m so going to pound him a new face!” Kagome just stared at Inuyasha as he raged on. “AND YOU? WHAT DO YOU THINK, THE SAME THING!!” “JUST BECAUSE I DON’T ACT LIKE A HENTAI, I HAVE NO INTEREST IN FEMALES?” "I sometimes "accidently" see you bathing and what, you don't think I feel things?"

Kagome suddenly noticed how interesting the ground was. Shrugging her shoulders, Kagome looked puzzled slowing raising her eyes refocusing her gaze on a very red-faced panting Inuyasha.

Inuyasha grabbed Kagome’s arms and bluntly yelled, “You can tell Miroku and Kouga this!” promptly smashing his lips into Kagome’s.

SCREAM!!! SLAP!!!

Stunned, Inuyasha straightens himself and backs up quickly.

“What do you think your doing?” hollers Kagome.

“Well, wasn’t that do you wanted?” hurtfully replied Inu.

“Not that!” “I can get that from Kouga!” Kagome replies turning on her heels and starting back down the path they had just come up.

She suddenly feels Inuyasha’s hand grasp her elbow firmly holding her so she can’t continue walking. “Oh Inuyasha, you don’t want to “press flesh” with me anyway, you made that quite apparent” she hurtfully stated while turning to face him.

Inuyasha looked suddenly very hurt himself. “Please Kagome; you wouldn’t betray me would you? I...I do want to be close to you, I lied, I...I…” Inuyasha starts to search for courage, having trouble finding any words that express what he feels and at the same time losing any courage he had felt previously.

Kagome interrupts his chattering by wrapping her arms around Inu’s neck, smiles and gives him a quick peck on the lips. “You’re the one I love Inuyasha, and if you want me, I want you and only you.” Kagome replied sweetly.

Inuyasha looks back in complete surprise, hesitates, and then wraps his arms around “his” girl’s back holding her tightly. She feels so good in his arms. He smiles slightly, and slowly places his lips on hers, parting her mouth with his tongue. She relaxes, enjoying the kiss she’s fantasized about for years it seemed. She sensed his heart finally opening, letting her in as their kiss deepens, tongues exploring each other’s mouths with velvety tenderness. “Wow!” thinks Kagome, his kiss is every bit of the dream I thought it would be. ” He was surprisingly tender and the more they stayed entangled together, the faster their hearts beat, breathing becoming labored. Kagome felt a tingle between her legs before just watching Inuyasha, but now she felt a hot wetness with a strong desire to rub her body on something hard. Inuyasha was also succumbing to physical desire, a desire he’s ignored for a long time for this one female. There was no turning back now, he was ready, and he would no longer fight his urge now that he touched her this way, she would be his. She was his mate for as long as they would be alive and after if possible.

Interrupting his thoughts, Kagome said, “Ouch, something keeps poking me!” “Well, “replied Inuyasha back, “What do you think it is?” “We’ve been kissing a bunch haven’t we?” “That’s you?” questioned Kagome. “I mean, I knew men got err…”excited” but I never knew it got THAT hard and big, I thought it was your sword handle. ” “Is that normal?”

Inuyasha smirks, picks up Kagome and whisks her to a nearby thicket with overhanging trees. “Yea, I’m sure it’s normal, it happens every time I think about you and me” murmurs Inuyasha.

“You think about us? Together?” questions Kagome.

Inuyasha rolls his eyes, “Of course! You think this is the first time I’ve ever thought of us together?”

Kagome blushes at the thought of herself being the center of his fantasies and her mind races through all the ones she’s had of him.

Interrupting Kagome’s thoughts, Inuyasha gently says, “Kagome, you sure you’re ready to…… (pause) mate with me…become mates?” “I mean, is that what you really want?”

“Yes Inuyasha," replies Kagome, “I know you're what I want” beaming a smile at him and laces her hands around the back of his head and plants another peek on him. “Oh good!” growls Inuyasha as he lowers her to the ground and lays on top of her adding “Now take off your clothes and we’ll get right to it!” “Inuyasha is that how you were with Kikyo?” questioned Kagome. It pained her to even bring up Kikyo’s name, but she was curious about his previous experiences with her. As soon as she said this, she was sorry. That was the last thing she wanted was an image of Kikyo in Inuyasha’s head.

Inuyasha looked a little perplexed, “No Kagome, I was never with Kikyo like this.” “I cared for her yes, and she made me feel grateful she had cared for me, but she never made me burn for her like you do.”

“You “burn” for me?” Kagome replied happily. She was so relieved. That was exactly what she wanted to hear.

“Enough talk Kagome” said Inuyasha. “I want you now, I’ve waited long enough” and with that he kissed her more deeply. He was ready to explore his future mate’s body.

Inuyasha stood up and started to slowly disrobe while he stared into Kagome’s eyes seductively. He took everything off until he was completely naked and erect before her, then took her hand and helped her up. His cheeks were pink, but he carried himself with an air of confidence. Even previous experiences seeing him naked before didn’t seem to phase him, he wasn’t shy about his body….there was that time he came out of her bathroom from the hot bath cussing, the time he fainted in the hot spring when she had to get his clothes.

Kagome turned bright red not only thinking about those previous experiences with naked Inuyasha but he started to help her off with her clothes. He hesitated not wanting to rush her. He then broke the silence, “Are you sure Kagome?”

Meekly Kagome responded with a head nod, whispering, "Of course I do, I love you."

"Yea, me too" quietly Inuyasha responded back.

“Okay, then what do we do?” inquired naked Inuyasha with a confused look on his face. “I don’t know anything about this mushy stuff!”

“Well, how do I know?” Kagome responded with a raised voice, “Kiss me for starters!”

He approached her from behind, lifting up her hair and began to kiss her neck, nibbling on her as her explored. He wrapped his arms around her and pressed his body close to hers as he reached around and kissed her face. She felt like she was going to swoon, he felt so good, his strong arms encasing her, making her feel safe like he always did. She slowly turned around and faced him, and he kissed her intensely showing her how much he really did love and want her. He wanted to relax both of them. He was not used to a lot of contact with any others, but he had to admit to himself, this was quite fun. Maybe Miroku had been on to something with these soft females. He could smell her excitement climbing and knew he was on the right track. He gave her a light peek and lowered her to the ground, then continued to kiss his girl. He gained confidence as he explored her body by touching and watching the responses he was getting. He ran his fingers over all of her, researching his prey, finding what made her gasp or moan. He had to find out where that delicious smell came from her finally. Her aroma made him always lose control. He had her lying on her back, legs raised, spread apart with her feet on the ground spreading her outer lips, touching her body. Kagome got a surprised look on her face and said, “I’m here to serve…”

With that said, they lay side by side holding each other smiling, kissing and catching their breaths. Kagome landed the man of her dreams and Inuyasha got his girl, even if he didn’t realize she was the one he really wanted all along. Besides, in the end, Inuyasha was the big winner. He got to prove to everyone, especially Miroku and that stupid wolf, just what a man he really was.
