"Take it off, take it off! GYAAAAAA!"

Crash. Boom. Bam. Rumble. Silence.

"..."

"...Ou.."

"Are you okay?" he asked cautiously.

"No," a weak voice answered.

"It was just a carrot," he said, fearing the other boy's wrath.

Inuyasha glared at his older brother. "'Just a carrot' keh," he mimicked him, snorting as he got up from the bile of rubble.

"Don't tell me you are afraid of something so trivial, little brother?" Sesshoumaru asked, tilting his head to the side as he watched Inuyasha slightly limping towards him. "Keh!" was his only answer as his younger brother strode past him. "But the carrot is harmless," he pressed on. "It can't do any real harm on you."

"Harmless! You threw it at me! Then it stuck into my hair and didn't come off! You call that harmless?!" Inuyasha raved, continuing his striding across the yard towards the castle.

"Inuyasha," Sesshoumaru said, intending to get him stay which he achieved. "Why do you fear carrots?"

Inuyasha glared at him, huffing as he turned his back at him once again. "They taste bad and look ugly."

Sesshoumaru smirked slightly, walking behind his little brother. "Are you going to tell Father?"

Inuyasha turned to face him his face red. "Of course I will!"

"Hmm," Sesshoumaru looked at him passively. "Maybe this isn't the best time to tell you that the carrot is still in your hair."

Inuyasha paled. "What?!" And shrieked. "Take it off!"

Sesshoumaru grabbed him by his shoulders. "Stay still and I will!" he bellowed over Inuyasha's shrieking. Inuyasha stopped moving at once and let his brother take the offensive vegetable away. Two small tears escaped his eyes and he turned away in shame.

Sesshoumaru felt slight bang in his chest at seeing his only brother crying. He wrapped his arms around his little bother and hugged him against his chest. "I'm sorry," he said.

AN: Well, I'm gonna do some story based on this.. or should I say that I will write a story that will feature them as children and this is just one memory of them. XD I hope I get to it soon enough.
