Atropa’s little rant:
Still missing
me? Well, here’s something for you Sango-loving boys and girls. She’s gonna have some fun with Kyohei from Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. This has been created because I need to just remove
some steam and not always the normal kind either. So beware of blood shed and snarling sounds.
It was one of those days…
It was one of
those days when you just knew that something out of the ordinary would happen.
It was one of those days when your stomach would turn and then turn again. It
was just one of those days you just knew that something wrong would happen. It
was there – right in your gut, gnawing at you like a dog chewing on a fleshy
bone.
It didn’t matter
that Sango carried the blood of ancient warriors in her veins. It didn’t matter
that she had developed a sixth sense when it came down to “feeling things”.
This very Friday the 13th were just vibrating with things that told
the crimson eyed librarian that something was going to happen. She just had to
be ready for it. And if it came down to carrying her short sword under her
blouse – then she would carry that very sword with her no matter what people
said about it. Well not that many would ever notice she had it though… because
she never wore any revealing clothes. Over said blouse she wore a large knitted
cardigan. Nobody would ever notice it now, not that they would notice her
anyway at all. She was the epitome of a grey library mouse. And she was fine
with that. She never liked getting attention in the first place.
Whatever this
“it or thing” was…. Because right now
the “it or thing” was something that Sango put together with the feeling of a
thousand worms crawling around inside her chest. A most
unpleasant feeling to say the least. But it had her instincts running on
high. And working in a library that had open during the late
evenings… well… let’s say that it didn’t make any sense at all.
As the day
progressed Sango let the uncomfortable feelings pass since nothing happened.
The sun set outside the windows and it was closing in on closing time for the
large library. She carried a few books in her arms as she walked through the
shelves as she tried to find the correct ones to place her books in. She knew
she had around 20 minutes left then she could go home and then wash this very
unpleasant feeling off her body.
Well, that was
her plan anyway. But unfortunately her fate had something else in mind for the
grey library mouse. A loud sound broke the otherwise so silent place.
Sango’s crimson
eyes darted towards the large entrance and she feared the worst but backed into
the shadows of the upper plane of the library. She knew that there was going to
be blood shed before this work day ended. And it was
just not because Sango had her period right now.
Five minutes
before closing time there was a gang of desperados with guns and took the
library staff and visitors as hostage. If they only knew… if they only knew
that they had picked the wrong day of the month to try something like this.
Blood would flow before this day would end. Sango gripped her books more
tightly and her eyes became slit like a cat’s. Yes, blood would indeed flow
before she was finished with them.

Sango heard
shouts, screams and cries as she backed into the shadows of the upper plane.
She had removed her short sword from its hiding place and held it in case she
needed to defend herself quickly. In the back of her head the plans of freeing
her beloved library was already in the making. She knew that her tribe in the
past had been mistaken for ninjas when they in fact were “just” demon slayers. A
wicked smile crept upon her lips as she let her left fingers move over the
singing blade of her short sword. Her mind transformed from being a pious and
quiet woman, a grey mouse, to a woman that was a force that could match the
natural disasters that struck the earth every now and then. A Tsunami that
swept in, killed everything it could, leaving devastation in its path as it
pulled back and disappeared. That was the fierce hate that Sango right now had
against these intruders and they would be able to taste it too.
It was almost as
her mouth watered as she thought of the havoc she could and would create
amongst the seven intruders. All she really needed was some form of distraction
and she smiled evilly as her eyes landed on the large stereo system that stood
next to the intercom microphone.
‘That would do just nicely as a distraction,’ she thought and went to the back room where she had
her bag. In that very bag she found a CD with her favorite songs. She smirked
as she knew all the songs on this disc. ‘They
will regret the day when they decided to mess with my library.’
She put the disc
into the sound system and pressed PLAY and put the microphone next to one of
the sound blasters. She turned up the sound to the max and disappeared from the
scene. Just seconds later the library was filled with the tones of the
underworld. Dark, depressing songs about death and
destruction. Something that soon would be experienced
for the seven intruders. An evil smile appeared on her lips as she began
to plot how to exterminate the little buggers.
A crude voice
echoed through the music and Sango’s crimson eyes widened before she rose and
peaked from her hiding place and saw a man with spiky golden hair. The man;
barely twenty years old, raised his fist into the air and shouted to the goons
to drop their weapons and get the hell out of the library.
‘Such a language…’ Sango thought as her lips curved to a vicious smile
when she heard the man curse the intruders. He would prove to be a good
distraction as well. ‘And he’s cute too…’
Sango let out a
snort as she watched the blond man got into a fist fight with one of the
intruders. It was quite easy to tell that the blond was strong and knew how to
fight. Sango stood up on the bars that made up for the balcony wall and gripped
her short sword more tightly. And as the blond youth punched the intruder right
in his face – Sango made her move. The young man had turned out to be a
distraction for the intruders and that was just what Sango needed to get up
close and make her move.
If you were a
bystander you would see a grey shadow just flow, almost like mercury slithering
down one of the pillars that hold the roof up. But as Sango slid down there was
nobody that noticed her. Not yet. Not until she was right behind the man that
had been punched in the face. Sango knew she shouldn’t kill them. She really
shouldn’t but… A little bloodshed wouldn’t hurt now… would it?
As another man
managed to zap the blond and courageous young man with a tazer
and grabbed a girl instead, threatening to rape and kill her, Sango couldn’t
hold back any longer. ‘You will regret
the day when you decided to even think of doing such a thing to a woman…’
The singing
sword singed silently. The man that had been punched in the face by the blond
was the first to go down. She sliced the back of his knees making him crumble
down on the floor with a howling sound. And it was not a very manly sound
either. It sounded if it was like a little girl screaming when she saw a
spider. ‘Pathetic!’
And that of
course turned everyone’s attention towards the sound and Sango.
“Well, well… I’m
busted,” she smiled sweetly and raised her sword. Blood was dripping from its
tip and it matched the ferocity you could see in her dark crimson eyes.
