First and foremost: I am unsure of how far I want to take this story. It will all depend on my readers and your reviews. So, please leave me your feedback!

I've only posted one other story, of which was a oneshot. So this is technically my first time posting a true story, so please be gentle with the flames!

Chapter 1: Abducted

Kagome awoke rudely when she bumped into plush leather; immediately realizing upon her arousal that she was nowhere familiar to where she last remembered being. She reactively attempted to sit up, just to be pulled back down from the tremendous amount of pain searing through her skull. She clutched her head, her hands gripping her ebony locks as if to pull it out. She closed her eyes tightly and grit her teeth in pain as she waited for it to lessen. Her breath coming in short, quick pants until the worst of the ache had subsided.

Where am I? What happened? She slowly opened her eyes and surveyed the small area around her. Her eyes darted to the pale moonlight streaming through a window above her. Without moving too fast and causing another painful episode, Kagome propped herself on the leather plush seat to look outside the window. A shallow throbbing ache coursed through her neck and up into her skull once more, reminding her that the pain has not yet been alleviated. Her spare hand instinctively moving to rub the sorest spot. It was then she realized there was blood on her hands. In an attempt to not scare herself even more, considering the current situation, she cleaned her hands off on her short, silky purple nightdress. Her mind wandered back to focusing on surviving. She needed to figure out where she was, and then find out how to get away. Whoever it was that abducted her had already made it clear that they were not afraid to use force, evident from her injury.

Calming down, she paid attention to the surroundings outside of the car. Fields of grass soared past her vision, informing her that they were no longer in the city. A forest could be seen coming up, That may be my chance, as soon as we- Only a few moments of thinking passed until she noticed the enormity of something in her peripheral vision next to the forest. She quickly looked to her left, noticing that the soreness in her skull seemed to diminish. Her mouth opened slightly and her eyes widened as the vehicle she was in drove straight for what she recognized as the Taisho Mansion. The most powerful Youkai clan residing inside.

Fear skyrocketed within her now trembling form. She sat down and quickly backed into the corner of the car, foolishly hoping that just maybe she wouldn't be ending this horrific journey there. She heard many stories about the Taisho clan, one of which that no one except those that were part of the clan knew, were the whereabouts of their Mansion.

For publicity to enhance their strength by popularity, the Taisho clan allowed there to be a select few pictures taken and shown throughout a number of magazines, which is how Kagome came about being able to recognize the property.

The Taisho clan's leader, Sesshoumaru, was also the most powerful youkai in the Western Lands. He was a president, among other titles, of the youkai that inhabited the Western Lands. Rumor has it, he is soon to be taking over another clan. By force. The fact that Kagome, who never associated with youkai by parents' choice, knew this small amount of information was frightening. It must mean that he allowed it to be revealed. He must have wanted this other clan to know, for he was just that strong and sure of himself. A shiver ran up her spine as she thought of what else he was overly capable of.

The vehicle came to an abrupt halt, forcing her body to lurch forward. Her hands came up at the last moment to ensure she didn't cause anymore harm to her previous head injury. She was now laying in a similar position as the one she woke up in. Not even a second later did the door behind her yank open, a man in a black suit and glasses standing before her. The suddenness of his arrival making her jump, and rolled onto her back. Memories of how she ended up in this predicament came flooding back upon seeing his face, which now had four scratches running down from his cheekbone to jaw.

Kagome's breathing hitched as she looked down at her now slightly trembling hand. There was blood underneath her fingernails. Memories of how she was laying in bed, sleeping comfortably when someone had grabbed her flashed through her mind. She awoke startled and scared, attempting to scream but evoked no sound. The hand over her mouth silencing her voice from catching anyone's attention. The man forcefully pulling her towards the balcony outside of her bedroom. The memories quickly moved to the next chapter, where he was about to throw her into the car right before she bit down onto his hand with all her strength, causing him to falter and let go. She had tried to run, only to be caught once more by his hard hands. He turned her roughly so she was facing him and threw her into the car. Her hand reaching frantically for something, anything to grab onto as he did so, and instead she felt her nails come in contact with his face, in turn, leaving four gash marks down his cheek.

Kagome was brought back to the present as she was yanked from the car by her abductor. She fought to get away from this man, even if she didn't know where she would go, but was unable to lessen his vice-like grip on her arms. She began to scream for help, which made him smirk.

"Screaming will just make this more fun, little girl," she could hear the grin in his voice.

Kagome, who happened to be the heiress to the Higurashi clan, was no idiot. She knew her attempts to break free were futile. She decided that if she were to die here, she wouldn't give him or anyone else the satisfaction of seeing her act anything but strong. She willed herself to live the last bits of her life with dignity. Though, if she was being led to her death or not was unsure to Kagome. If he had planned to kill me, there's no reason he wouldn't have done it earlier...

The man felt her body go lax and then quickly forced her up to the huge Taisho mansion. Upon reaching the guards out front of the front doors, the man whispered something inaudible, which granted him access past the guards.

"What do you want with me?" she asked silently, her fear leaking through her voice enough for the man to notice.

"Shut up," he replied gruffly.

The huge oak front doors opened for Kagome and her abductor as they walked in. The man led her up many flights of stairs and rounded many corners.

How big IS this place?

The man stopped abruptly and caused Kagome to lurch forward and bump into his back, much like what happened in the car earlier. She heard him knock three times on the huge door in front of them. Kagome heard nothing happen that would sound as an invitation into the room behind the doors, but the man seemed to have. He must be a youkai too. But then why haven't those wounds healed...

The man pulled on her wrist, pulling her forward with him into the room ahead of them. Kagome unwillingly followed him, just to be thrown onto the ground before him. The man bowed, then left the room.

Kagome planted her delicate hands onto the hardwood floor and pushed up, taking in her new surroundings. There was a huge canopy bed, with black curtains and black sheets. The walls were white, with a gold ceiling of some mural she couldn't make out in the dark. There was a fireplace, with a fire currently going, with some sofas and chairs surrounding a glass coffee table on top of a very large carpet in front of the fireplace.

Her gaze continued to move across the room until she noticed the other presence in the room. She looked in the direction of the other person, or thing, whatever it was. Her eyes found its golden stare looking right at her.

Is it youkai?

Kagome didn't dare move, she was too frightened and overwhelmed to attempt anything. Whatever it was that had been hiding in the shadows now came into the moonlight that was shining through the huge window and past the silk draperies.

It's... Him. It can't be. Please, please God don't let it be him!

His eyes were slightly red, making the once gold eyes now look like copper. He had a silver mane that flowed down all the way to his backside, complimenting his entire frame. His masculine upper body was exposed to her vision, for he was not wearing anything to hide it. His chest tan and sculpted to that of something like a God's. Kagome's gaze drifted lower to his flat, sexy washboard abs. Her body shivered at the thought of being able to touch them. Again, her gaze lowered to the sex-lines on his hips that delved below his pants. She had never seen a more beautiful, sexy, frightening, powerful creature. Despite her escalating arousal from the sight before her, Kagome's heart skipped a beat as she came to the full realization that she was looking upon probably the most powerful man, or youkai, in the world. "A-are you Sesshoumaru?"
