~CHAPTER ONE~

Kagome tossed fitfully in her sleeping bag. Shippou had already been squashed a few times by her agitated movements in her sleeping bag earlier that week, and so had decided to sleep with Sango and Kirara for the time being, just until Kagome began sleeping more peacefully---whenever that would be...

Kagome was sweating very lightly as she made a frustrated little noise and rolled over again, uncrossing and recrossing her legs in the process. She had a small frown set across her face as she slept.

Miroku, Sango, and Shippou were all very concerned for the wellbeing of their friend. Kirara and Inuyasha seemed to be the only ones who partially understood what was going on, as Kirara mostly just ignored it, and Inuyasha would either flee from sight each night, or simply sit far above the group, on a tree branch, absolutely rigid, until the night was over. He adamantly refused to sit next to, or even simply at eye level, with Kagome, on these nights.

Every night, shortly after the miko fell asleep, Inuyasha would begin to smell her budding arousal. The first night, he'd been sitting directly across from her, on the other side of the campfire, and it had taken him a few seconds to realize what the tantalizing smell was. He'd begun sniffing around, trying to find the source of the scent when it appeared, and had ended up at Kagome's sleeping bag. His eyes grew wide with the realization of what the scent was, and he immediately began to physically respond to it. Just as his hardness began to be clearly visible through his pants, Kagome woke up, and Inuyasha froze, unable to move. He crouched there, holding his breath in his chest, cheeks flushed, as Kagome opened her eyes. His erection continued to grow, to full length, as she blinked at him with sleepy surprise, a soft pink flush gracing her face. As she grew more conscious and awake, she took in his tense stance, and her eyes traveled over him, stopping abruptly as they landed on his pants. Her eyes grew wide. She gasped, flushing a much deeper shade of pink, and opened her mouth to speak. The moment she'd gasped, however, it seemed to have broken the spell keeping Inuyasha rooted to the spot, and he immediately leapt up and away, fleeing from the scene.

By the time Kagome had shouted "sit, boy!" Inuyasha was well outside of seeing and hearing distance from the group, so when he faceplanted into a nearby spring, covering himself with mud and completely soaking his robes, none of them witnessed the unimpeded outline of his massive erection pressing forth against his pants, as they clung tightly to his wet body. The humiliation of being 'sat' in response to his arousal was great, but only made him grow harder. His cock twitched under the weight of his hakama. He groaned and undid the tie to his pants, freeing his length from their confinement, and looked down at his erection. Reaching down he began to very slowly stroke it, but then abruptly stopped, as he thought about what Kagome might do if she caught him. She would probably be disgusted, and 'sit' him into oblivion! His ears flattened against his head, though his erection still stood prouder than ever. After a moment had passed, he abruptly leapt into the spring, disrobing once under the cool water, and allowed the chill of the water to force his excitement down.
