Author notes: This is my first fanfic EVER so please be kind. And I am sorry for the grammar mistakes and any other spelling errors you might find. English is not my first language.
Inuyasha was sitting on the floor in his bedroom with a bottle of vodka between his legs. Since his relationship had gone down the drain, he thought that drinking his sorrow away was a good idea. They've been together for three years and then Kikyo left him telling him that she thought that their relationship wasn't going anywhere. He had been giving her everything! Even though he didn't have a lot of money. He had been so shocked that he hadn't grasped the fact that she left him yet. He had went to the liquor store and then went straight back home. And now thee hours later he still sat there, next to the bed with a half empty bottle of vodka in his hand.
There was a soft knock on the door and Inuyasha turned his ears to the sound.

“Inuyasha?” A soft voice said. “Are you ok? You've been in there for quite a while now”

It was his roommate Kagome. He had been living with her for the past three years, but they had been best friends all their lives. It had been only natural that they moved in together after high school.

“Could you please leave me alone? I don't feel like talking right now.” Said Inuyasha with a slurred voice.

“Have you been drinking? “ asked Kagome “what happened?!”

“I said I didn't want to talk!” said Inuyasha and tried but failed to make his voice steadier.

The door opened and Kagome walked in.

“I don't care if you don't want to talk, you're obviously hurting. And on top of it all you forgot to pick me up at work. So something is definitely off.”

She sat down beside him and looked at him. He had his head tilted down so his bangs hid his eyes.

He felt ashamed of himself, how could he forget about picking up Kagome? He always picks her up after work!

“I'm sorry that I forgot” he said “I… I must've had my head elsewhere.”

“I was mad at you, I even tried to call you but I went straight to voicemail. But seeing what a mess you are I guess I forgive you” she said with a frown on her face “what happened?”

“She dumped me” he said, and took a sip of the vodka.

Kagome stared down at her hands in her lap. “Oh!” Was the only thing she could say.

Inuyasha laughed darkly. “Yeah. She said our relationship wasn't going anywhere.” Kagome looked up at his face again “was that all she said?”

“Yup” he said and took another swig of the vodka.

“Oh!” She said again.

Inuyasha tilted his head back at the wall and closed his eyes. He hadn't cried over his shattered relationship, even though he know he should. But it didn't feel right to cry.

Not over her. He felt empty and emotionless.

“What are you going to do now?” Kagome asked after a long while of silence.

“Well, I was planning to drink up, vomit and go to bed.” He said slightly more slurred then before. “Other than that, I have no plans for today”

“Well, that sounds like a really depressing evening” Kagome said

Inuyasha turned his head towards her with a broken smile. “Yeah, I know”

While he looked at her he realized that he hadn't really looked at her.

Sure he had been interested in her before. But he didn't think she felt the se way about him, so instead of destroying their friendship he kept it to himself. And then he met Kikyo. And Kagome started to date other guys. But he was pretty sure that she was single now. And in his druknen mind he did what he thought felt right for the moment. He leaned towards her and kissed her.

Kagome was so shocked that she just froze. She didn't know what to do.

So many emotions going through her mind. She had been interested in Inuyasha for years now, but didn't know how he felt about her. And then he had met Kikyo so she figured he didn't want her. So she started to date other guys, no one that became really serious.

She was still in love with Inuyasha, but she didn't want to be a rebound. So she didn't know what to do.
After a while he broke off the kiss and leaned back to look at her. She looked puzzled at him.

“I'm sorry” he said “I know you're not interested in me like that, I don't know what came over me!”

“Don't be” she said

“What?” He said and leaned back to far so he almost tipped down on the floor.

“I said don't be sorry.” She looked down at her hands again and bit her lower lip trying to get her thoughts into place.

After a while of silence she finally spoke.

“I like you Inuyasha, I have for a good long while now. I haven't said anything because I didn't think you liked me back, and I didn't want to damage our friendship.

I still like you a lot, but I don't want to be a rebound girl or a one-night stand because that would break me.”

Inuyasha let her words sink in before he spoke. Oddly enough he had sobered up!

“Kagome… I like you too, a lot. And I liked you before I met Kikyo. But I didn't think you felt the same way. You don't have to think that I would've use you as a one time thing. I wouldn't do that…”

He didn't have time to finish his sentence before Kagome threw herself at him making him fall flat on his back.

They kissed passionately as her hands tangled his hair and his found her breasts feeling them trough the thin fabric of her tank top.

After a few moments they broke the kiss both panting for air. Inuyasha trailed kisses Dow he jawline to her neck as he pushed his hands up under her tank top and found her breast free from fabric since she wasn't wearing a bra. She moaned when he tweaked one of her nipples. After a while she starter to rub herself against his erection making him moan as well. He grabbed her hips helping her grind harder and faster. She threw her tank top off and grabbed one of her breasts for added stimulation. For a while all they could hear was their pants and moans.

“You need to stop doing that now, or else it will be over very soon” Inuyasha groaned trough clenched teeth.

“I'm sorry” Kagome giggled but didn't stop right away, instead she arched back showing full display of her breasts.

Inuyasha moaned loudly and bit his lip hard enough to draw blood. Then he pushed her down on the floor making her yelp in surprise. He made quite work unbuttoning her pants and discarded both them and her panties at ones, then proceeded to undress himself.

When they were both equally naked they stopped to just look at each other. Then he leaned forward to capture her mouth with his. He trailed down with his hand to her womanhood and felt how wet and ready she was. He begun with sticking in one finger inside of he and he heard her take in a sharp breath and her breathing became quicker. He took his finger out and pressed his damp finger against her clitoris and started to stroke her gently. Her breathing became more erratic and he knew she was close.

The smell of her arousal was driving him crazy very fast, but he wanted her to come first in case he couldn't make her come trough penetration.

He started to stroke her faster and harder and after a short while she was screaming his name and bucking wildly on the floor.

He positioned himself on top of her looking deeply into her eyes.

“Would you mind if I was on top?” She asked carefully

He was surprised by her question but shook his head and rolled over on his back.

“Why do you want to be on top?” He asked. “Not that I mind at all but I gotta ask”

“It's been a while since I had sex and I want to have control this time is all” she said “besides I like this position” she said with a smile as she slowly sank herself on his hard length.

His eyes rolled back in his head and he had to control himself to the fullest not to blow his load there and then.

“Fuck! Mine to!” He moaned.

Kagome started to grind harder and faster and Inuyasha grabbed her ass to help along. He felt her clamp around him so tightly it almost hurt. And he heard her screaming his name again. That was all it took for him to tumble over in bliss. He grabbed her and slammed her down once more and then he screamed her name to the heavens.

She collapsed on top of him trying to catch her breath.

After a good ten minutes his heartbeat was almost back to normal and she rolled off him and sat up and looked him in the eyes.

“Where do we go from here?” She asked anxiously.

“I don't know, but I know one thing for sure. This was not a onetime thing, and if you want to I am more than willing to start a relationship with yo. Even though we are starting it all backwards.” He said with a genuine smile

“I'd like that” she said “and then we will se how it goes.”

She dragged a blanket down from his bed and pulled it over the both of them then she cuddled herself down beside Inuyasha with her head on his chest and listened to his even heartbeat. He put his arm around her and kissed the top of her head.

“This was so much better then the plans I originally mad up for myself” he said with a chuckle.

“I totally agree” Kagome said as she drifted off to sleep.
