Chapter Ten - The Game We Play

The next day Ayame went in for her morning meeting with Sesshomaru, she had a plan to discuss extremely important things with him. As always she knocked on his office door. He replied with his usually curt, "Yes."

Ayame sat down in front of his desk. "Good morning, Ayame."

She gave him a fake smile, "Morning, Lord Sesshomaru."

His golden eyes watched her as she smoothed out her fur skirt and then she got down to business. "I need extra help for Satoru in the kitchen, I need more maids and those maids need to be trained properly at cleaning this place."

Sesshomaru smirked, "You waste no time to take control. Jaken will be sent out to search for more help and you should be able to train your maids since you are an expert maid now."

She glared at him, "I doubt Jaken is the right person to pick to search for new help. Just one look at him and you wouldn't want to go near the palace let alone work in it..."

"Jaken is fully capable of this duty."

Ayame sighed, massaging her forehead. How was she supposed to make him understand how other people feel about him and Jaken? "Sesshomaru, Jaken is not a people person, send someone else."

A slow, sly smirk spread across Sesshomaru's face as his golden eyes slid over Ayame's body. "Ayame..."

"What? Are you even listening? If I have to do it, that's fine. My wolves and I can get more accomplished then Jaken ever....oh shit...", Ayame cut herself as she realized that she hadn't addressed Sesshomaru properly.

Sesshomaru stood from his office chair and walked around the desk, Ayame stood as well, "Look... Lord Sesshomaru, sorry, I forgot. Don't I get a warning or something?"

Sesshomaru's evil grin stayed as he shook his head turning her around and pushing her against the desk. '... is my punishment... being forced to fuck him?' He pushed her skirt up to her waist and ran his hand over her firm ass. Her eyes widened, she was about to lose her virginity.

*SMACK*

Sesshomaru's hand came down firm and hard on her soft butt cheeks. Ayame let out a squeak of surprise. She looked back at him, Sesshomaru had a look of pure pleasure on his face. "OUCH! That HURT!" Ayame yelled at him.

He rubbed her ass gently, "That's the point."

She glared at him, getting ready to stand up and storm out, but her stopped her and planted another crisp one.

Ayame let out a small moans, surprising herself, this hurt, a lot, but here she was moaning. And on top of that she was wet, soaking wet. She wanted more. Looking back at Sesshomaru expectantly, she saw him admiring her now red ass. She was extremely surprised to see him lean down and lick and kiss each butt cheek tenderly before he pulled her skirt down over her now tender ass. He went back to his seat and sat down. "See that in the future you address This Sesshomaru correctly."

Ayame, still laying on his desk, huffed and stood up. "Yes, Lord Sesshomaru."

She's never been spanked before, so her ass hurt, the slightest movement made her wince. Sesshomaru smirked, his golden eyes telling her he enjoyed her pain. "I agree to you going out and finding help for the palace. You may leave, Ayame."

Rolling her eyes, trying to hold on to what little pride she had left, she turned and walked out the door. "Uuugh...." she groaned after she closed the door after herself.

'Not only did I mess up on his name and get punished, but I liked the punishment...' Ayame scolded herself as she went down to the kitchen to let Satoru know she was able to get help for him.

She walked into the kitchen and Satoru's friendly face greeted her and for once her wolves weren't here, Satoru must have listened to her when she complained her wolves were getting fat because of his cooking. "Ayame! There you are! Your breakfast is getting cold, where were you??"

"Uh, I had a meeting with Sesshomaru. I'll be able to get you some extra help in the kitchen."

"Good girl!! Finally someone around here takes charge!!" He beamed happily at her, Ayame didn't even try and point out the fact she wasn't a girl.

Taking her bowl she considered the chair and stood and ate instead. Satoru raised his eyebrow but didn't question her further. "I also ended it with Takumi, he wasn't happy though..." Ayame stared at her bowl, bitter about the whole thing.

The wise cook nodded, "You did what was right, Ayame."

Ayame sighed, shaking her head. After her bottom beating, she didn't feel good about anything. She wasn't even enjoying Satoru's cooking as much as she normally did.

After she finished her meal she decided to go to her room for a little bit. Her ass hurt and she decided she didn't want to move anymore. She laughed at herself and how pathetic she was acting. She battled demons and got thrown around all the time and a few spanks on the bottom was bothering her?

Getting to her room, she laid on her bed, bottom up. Ayame sighed her eyes rolling back, 'Muuuuuch better.' She smiled as she closed her eyes, 'Maybe I'll take a short nap.'

A knock at the door startled her. "Uh... come in?"

Expecting it to be either Jaken or Sesshomaru, she decided to roll on her side and not do much else. Takumi peeked around the corner, "Ayame, I wanted to talk to you."

"Oh! Takumi!" Ayame said sitting up quickly and letting out a small yelp in pain.

He frowned, closing the door and walking over to her. "Are you alright?"

Ayame shook her head, wincing from the pain of sitting on her tender bum. "It's nothing... I-I fell mopping again."

"But you're not a maid anymore..." He frowned, "What's going on Ayame?"

She sighed. "Fine. I didn't address Lord Sesshomaru correctly and he punished me."

Ayame saw anger spread across Takumi's handsome features. "Punished you?"

Ayame's face flushed with the warmth of embarrassment. "He spanked me."

Takumi growled, "I'll fucking kill him. Nobody treats their mate like that!"

Ayame started to panic, Takumi couldn't pick a fight with Sesshomaru, he'd be killed! Thinking quickly, ignoring the pain in her backside, she pulled Takumi down to the bed and straddled his waist. "It doesn't matter. What matters is... we're alone.. in my room."

Takumi's anger dissipated as he put his hands on her waist. "That's true."

He grinned that charming smile as his hands ran over her body. Ayame smiled back, her body ignoring the stinging of her bottom and letting the sexual desire take over. Ayame leaned forward and nibbled on Takumi's bottom lip, teasing him. He groaned, holding her tighter as he rolled his hips up towards her. Deepening her kiss, she ran her fingers through his hair, "Gods... Ayame... you drive me crazy..." Takumi groaned into her mouth.

The door to Ayame's room slammed open and flew across the room. "What the..!?!?" Ayame sat up on Takumi and looked at the doorway.

She wasn't surprised when she saw an extremely pissed off, red eyed Sesshomaru. Before she could explain herself, or ever get off Takumi, Sesshomaru yanked her off him and threw her to the side. Ayame cried out when she landed on her already extremely upset backside. Sesshomaru raised his two fingers, his demonic gaze glaring down at Takumi, who still seemed stunned by what was happening. "She belongs to me!"

"That's not what she seem's to think", Takumi dumbly responded.

Sesshomaru growled, his blood red eyes glowing brighter, baring his teeth he swung down his hand, the green-yellow whip slashing down towards Takumi. "NOOOO!!!!!"

Ayame dove in between them, raising her sword to block him. A bright purple flash glowed from the sword, creating a small force field around her and Takumi, throwing Sesshomaru backwards. He roared, becoming closer to changing into his true demon form, his face twisted in anger. Ayame stood, and pointed the tip of her sword towards Sesshomaru's throat. The force field flickered out as she glared back at Sesshomaru's furious expression. "If you want to hurt him, you'll have to kill me first."

Sesshomaru's red eyes glowed as he watched her, his face slowly unclenching into a more calm expression. But his blood-red eyes stayed. "Leave, filth." Sesshomaru pointed to Takumi.

Understanding that a witty sarcastic comment at this time probably wouldn't help, Takumi hurried out of the room, giving Ayame one more longing look before he exited the room. He had almost died and he was still horny? 'I'll never understand men', Ayame thought to herself.

Still holding the sword tip steady to Sesshomaru's throat, Ayame said calmly, "You can't hurt him... it wasn't his fault...."

Sesshomaru snorted, hitting the sword aside he moved towards her. Ayame nervously backed away, disappointed her sword didn't do the barrier thing again. "How many times must this Sesshomaru remind you? You belong to me and that will never change. Your heart beats for me..."

Sesshomaru backed her against the wall and ran his hand over wetness, "...this gets wet for This Sesshomaru..."

Growling, he tore off her skirt and slid his fingers between her fold. She gasped. Sesshomaru breathed in her scent, leaning his head against the wall behind her. "Did you gift him your virginity?"

Ayame shook her head quickly, unable to muster words. Sesshomaru growled low, "I don't believe you!"

He shoved two fingers into her, causing Ayame to gasp in pain, "Sesshomaru!"

He growled again, feeling around, "It's Lord Sesshomaru."

He pushed her legs further apart as her fingered her. 'What is he looking for?' She screamed in her head as his fingers prodded at her.

His fingers pushed up against something inside her and she felt him relax. "Good Girl..."

Ayame gritted her teeth at the name. He constantly killed her pride. Sesshomaru removed his fingers from inside her but didn't step away. His thumb instead rubbed against her clit. Ayame moaned, her knees becoming weak. Her body screamed for more, her mark told her this is what she wanted all along. Him.

Sesshomaru ran his lips over her mark as he continued to rub her throbbing little nub. Ayame wrapped her legs and arms around Sesshomaru before she could fall to the ground in bliss. "Sessho....uuhhhhmmm..ooorrr...oouuu."

Holding Ayame against his body, he moved away from the wall then dropped her exhausted limp body onto the bed. His eyes still were tinted red as he looked down at her with a satisfied look. He licked his fingers casually like he'd just eaten a delicious meal. Sesshomaru then left her there to recover from her orgasm.

Ayame squinted at the sun shining through the curtains, she stretched, groaning as her body protested the movement. She had slept for a long time. That orgasm had taken a lot out of her. Yesterday had been a ... difficult day... and strangely satisfying. "I need to find Takumi and make sure he's still alive..."

Ayame's stomach dropped at the thought. Sesshomaru was so angry, what if he had gone and killed Takumi after he had his way with her? 'Shit', she cursed as she rushed to get her skirt back on.

Frowning she stared at the leather choker that had been thrown on the ground, it was torn apart, there was no way of saving it. She looked at her neck in the mirror surrounded by multicolored fabric. The new bite mark Sesshomaru had made was a bruised circle around his crescent moon mark. "Uuuuggghhh... it's so ugly..." Ayame complained.

But there was no help for it, Ayame had to find Takumi and make sure he was alright. She fluffed up her cloak collar a little, which helped, but didn't cover the whole thing. Ayame sighed and made her way out her room. Her destroyed door was gone and a curtain was in its place. Ayame shrugged, if it did the job, she could care less.

Ayame looked everywhere for Takumi, every little corner in that giant palace. She looked everywhere while everyone stared at her neck. By the time she got to the kitchen she was half scared for Takumi's life and half annoyed with how much everyone stared at her. Satoru was singing as he cooked lunch. She had missed breakfast searching this huge ass palace for Takumi. "Satoru, have you seen Takumi?" Ayame asked.

Satoru turned to her with a serious expression. "He's gone."

"Gone...? Dead.. gone?" Ayame's eyes began to water. She should have been stronger... she shouldn't have passed out.

Satoru laughed, "No, silly child. He's been kicked out of the palace. Sesshomaru was extremely calm through it all. I was very impressed."

'If only he knew...' Ayame thought.

Satoru's gaze landed on Ayame's neck. "Apparently he was not calm with you."

Ayame covered her neck with her hand, glaring at the nosey cook. "That's none of your business... I can't believe he kicked him out... he has nowhere else to go!"

Satoru put down a pot on the fire and walked over to Ayame, setting his hands on her shoulders firmly. "Ayame. He's lucky he isn't dead."

Tears filled Ayame's eyes as she glared at his chest, not being able to meet his wise eyes. "I hate him. He's been nothing but cruel to me. I didn't ask for this! Or him!"

Satoru tsked as he sat her down at the table, then sat across from her. "I understand your pain Ayame. You're confused and young. But you must never take your mate for granted..."

"When I was young and foolish, I had a beautiful mate. With hair like the fresh harvest wheat and eyes like the deepest ocean. I loved her so much... I planned to have many pups with her, and we would have been so happy...." Satoru stared off into the distance, tears coming to his eyes.

"But I left her defenseless and she suffered a painful death because I couldn't protect her. I... haven't been able to let her go... I've never been able to replace her."

Satoru looked at her with his teary eyes, "Mates do that, you know... they carve themselves into you heart and make sure you can never forget them. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to drink myself to death..."

Even though she felt sorry for the old cook, she didn't think he understood her situation. "Correct me if I'm wrong but, did you love her before you mated?"

"Oh yes. I loved her from the moment I laid eyes on her."

"I've never loved Sesshomaru. He took what wasn't his and I'll never forgive him!" Ayame stood and stared down at Satoru.

"You're a good friend, Satoru, but you don't understand how wrong this is."

Ayame turned, walking away from a shocked Satoru. She stomped all the way up to her room and groped around to slam the door that wasn't there. "Ugh!!" She yelled as she hit the wall. 'Sesshomaru and I don't belong together! Not only is he an arrogant asshole, he's a dog-demon. My race and his never got along.' Ayame frowned as she thought about it. 'I don't think I've ever heard of a dog-demon and wolf-demon pair...'
Growling angrily, she kicked a package that lay on the floor. "Eh?"
Ayame picked up the now abused package and stared at it with curiosity, "A present? For me??"
She looked at the little card attached to the package. It simply said 'Ayame'. "Ooo! I love presents! Maybe its from Takumi!"
She tore it open and stared at the present. It was a gorgeous silk fan decorated with swirling patterns of iris's and sparkles. It had to have been extremely expensive, nothing Takumi could have afforded. Ayame sighed. 'Must be from Sesshomaru.'
Ayame continued to stare at the silk fan and debated on setting it on fire, but she couldn't. It was just too pretty! Besides. It had her favorite flower on it. The wolf-demon sighed and shoved the delicate fan into her fur boot. You never knew when it would come in handy, maybe she could throw it at Sesshomaru next time she saw him.
