Kagome cast a look over her shoulder as she watched Hojo's village vanish over a hill then sighed as she closed her eyes and looked down. Rin skipped along happily next to her. She was finally going back to Sesshomaru and couldn't be happier. Kagome however was still trying to figure out how they could have known that she was pregnant so fast. At best she would be just barely over two weeks. No where near far along for her to know for sure.

Looking over her shoulder at the young miko Kimi knew that look. She was questioning if she did the right thing or not. With a sigh she turned around and closed her eyes. "You are going the right thing. You are going to crave his presence. As much as he is needing yours right now for the next few months."

"I understand that. But what I don't understand is how could anyone know that I am pregnant already. A human carries a baby for nine months. I don't know a soul who knows they are pregnant before they are at the very least six weeks pregnant."

"You must consider who the father is."

"Huh?"

"The father of the baby you carry is Sesshomaru. The strongest of all the demons alive. When Izayoi was pregnant with Inuyasha she carried him only four months."

"Really?"

"Hai. There is no reason to think that you will be any different than she was."

Looking down Kagome did the math in her head. If she was only going to carry for four or even four and a half months, then she would be the same as eight or ten weeks pregnant right now. 'For sure long enough that the midwife could tell. To her it would look like I was at least two months pregnant.'

"Any other questions?"

"Only why you would refuse to accept it."

"I have explained myself to my son and I am sure he has told you. I will not falter on that."

"Because of me."

"Exactly."

Kagome could only glare up at her. She couldn't exactly tell her that this life wasn't one she would have chosen on her own. She was not going to ruin Rin's view of him for anyone. The little girl adored him and he seemed to really care about her as well. 'First chance I get and she is not with me I plan on letting this thing in front of me know exactly what I think.'

Another fling of his arm and another hundred or so trees are broken to kindling. Sesshomaru growled as he ground his teeth together. Fighting his beast back was proving harder to do than he thought. He could feel his body weakening on him. He knew that if he kept this up much longer, he would be dead in a matter of a few weeks. 'I don't care if I die. I forced myself on her once. I won't let him do it to her again. I won't'

Then his eyes went wide and he gasped. He could smell her. She was close. Shaking his head he slammed his fist into the ground. "Damnit would you stop! I will not go after her! I do not want to see tears in her eyes again because of me! You will not get your way!"

"Sesshomaru."

His eyes going wide Sesshomaru whipped around and starred with shock on his face at the miko that stood on the edge of the trees with her head down. "Kagome........I thought................"

"Do you mean it Sesshomaru? That you don't want to see me cry cause you have hurt me again?"

"I do."

"So you won't rape me again right? Only when I decide that I want to again right?"

"What are you........................"

"Right!?"

"Hai."

"Tell me why you don't want to see me cry again. And don't tell me cause of your demon cause I gather that is who you were yelling at."

"Because you have done something I thought only Rin could do, only on a much larger scale. I have fallen in love with you the few days you were there. The bond I felt was deep and....................." Then it was as if he was watching in slow motion as he was thrust out of his own body and his demon took over and charged Kagome flattening her to the ground. 'Damnit! No!'

Kagome gasped as she was flattened on the ground. Sesshomaru over top of her. But the wild look in his eye. The pure evil that gleamed. It wasn't really him. "Please..."

"Mine!"

Kagome could feel his hands roaming her body with roughness. The way he growled in her ear. She thought about fighting him off of her then her eyes went wide when she remembered what Kimi had told her. "Sesshomaru you don't have to do this."

"Mine!"

"I am already yours. And pregnant. Use your nose!" Kagome then watched as his eyes went back to normal as they focused on her brown eyes. "That's right. I came home to you. I hate you and love you at the same time with what you did to me. I don't know how I am going to do this. But I am pregnant. You are going to be a father. Please, Sesshomaru come back."

Finally able to fully take control of his own mind and actions since the day he watched her walk away from him Sesshomaru sighed as he stood up and then helped her to her feet. He then pulled a gasp from her as he pulled her into his arms with a shaky desperation in them as he dropped his head to rest on her shoulders. "Thank you."

Her eyes wide Kagome slowly let her hands grip his clothes on his sides as tears flowed down her face. "For what?"

"You came back. I was prepared to die for your sake. I had every intention on fighting him until death to give you what you wanted. You didn't have to come back. Pregnant or not."

Her face now buried in his neck Kagome let out a sob. "I couldn't do that. We were both forced into this situation. Your mother told me what state you were in. I didn't think you would have been like this and..........................." But her eyes went wide when she felt his warm lips press to hers in a gentle yet fierce kiss. Slowly her eyes drifted shut as she clung to him as he kissed her. Those same feelings that she felt the last time he touched her swam through her body. Not the fear of pain. Not the thought of being raped again. Just pure pleasure and excitement. "Sesshomaru............................"

"I love you Kagome. I won't let you go again. I don't think I could take it."

"I am back to stay. We will raise our child as a family with Rin."

Searing her mouth with his once more Sesshomaru held her for a moment more then lifted her and walked toward the palace. His life was right again. And he would do everything he could to make sure that Kagome was happy. Even if that meant having a whore on the side. He would never force himself on her again. She will be happy with him from now on.
