Naraku's Last Stand
Disclaimer Note: I don't own Inuyasha! Sorry!
A/N: This is the last chapter and since the old story of how Custard made his last stand, I decided to give the chapter a similiar title. If you want to read more, check out The Sightless Curse. But they'll be more!

Chapter 11: Naraku's Last Stand
"His scent is close!" Inuyasha shouted as they crossed some mountains. "I can nearly taste it!" "Slow down, Inuyasha," Sango panted. "Not all of us run like demons you know." "He's been like this all morning," Kagome sighed resting against a rock. "I don't know what came over him." Yasha and Shippo looked at each other giggling. Miroku collasped on the ground with a tired grunt. "Come on, lazies!" Inuyasha shouted. "We're gonna kill Naraku today! I know it!" "Papa, we're tired," Yasha complained. "Can't you give us a rest?" He sighed and nodded.
Later that afternoon, the group was in a field with still no sign of Naraku. "I think he's overreacting," Kagome was saying to Sango. "He is half dog in the first place." "He seems confident though," Sango noticed. "That's Papa for you," Yasha said sitting on Kilala's back with Shippo and Miroku. "He's too boastful if you ask me." Kagome chuckled. "I've never heard you say such things about Inuyasha before," she said. "This caused me to," Yasha sighed. "He's too thick skulled to even realized Naraku ain't around here. Even I can't smell him." "Neither can I," Shippo said seriously. The night soon arrived and everyone was exhausted. Kagome and Sango were responsible for fixing dinner and Miroku watched the children playing.
"Yasha, come here!" Inuyasha called from the nearby lake. Normally she wasn't allowed near him when he was naked, but she wondered what was up. She walked to him frowning. "What's wrong?" she asked. "I forgot the soap," he said. "Can you get it for me?" She nodded and left returning with the small square white bar that smelled like flowers. "I still don't understand this stuff," she said handing it to him. "It keeps you clean," he said seriously. "It makes you smell like a girl," she said. He laughed hard then. "Yasha Sierra, you're something else," he said when he recovered. "Go back to camp and I'll be there when I finish." She nodded and walked off.
After dinner, Yasha sat in Inuyasha's lap while playing with some toys Kagome brought. Inuyasha picked up one of the tiny race cars and ran it over her arm causing her to giggle. "That tickles," she said. "That tickles, huh?" he asked and he began tickling her causing her to laugh hard. "Papa, stop!" she cried. He chuckled and held her close. "It's good to see that Inuyasha and Yasha get along so well," Miroku said. "I wouldn't doubt it," Sango chuckled. "He's been there for her in more ways than one."
The next morning, the journey continued again when the wind shifted and Yasha stopped walking. "Guys, wait a minute," she said and they looked at her. "What's wrong?" Shippo asked. She sniffed the air and looked at him. "Do you smell that?" she asked. He sniffed the air nodding. "Naraku," they said together. "Naraku?" Inuyasha asked frowning. Just then, they heard a chuckle in the air. "Well, children do have better noses these days," a voice said as Naraku appeared in front of them. "It's him!" Miroku shouted. "And this time, I'll kill you all!" Naraku shouted and used his poison gas on them. Yasha ducked down to clean air and grabbed her staff in her hands.
"I have to stop this," soughoughed and stabbed the ground with it creating a barrier to stop the gas. Naraku frowned when Inuyasha unleashed Tetsusaiga. "Time to die, Naraku!" he shouted as the battle began between the two. Kagome grabbed Yasha and held her close as the battle continued. Inuyasha was punched through the gut and he was bleeding as he stood shaking from his wounds. "I think you'll die, Inuyasha," Naraku said and knocked him unconsious.
"PAPA!" Yasha cried running to him. She stared at Naraku as her demon blood kicked in. She grabbed Tetsusaiga in her hands and it obeyed for her. "You've put my family through enough hell, Naraku," she said seriously. "It's time you paid for your crimes against all of us!"
"DIE" she shouted running for him.
