Chapter 11

Sesshomaru quietly entered his room, Kagome was still sound asleep. He walked over to her and gently sat beside her on the bed.

“Kagome, you need to wake up. We are all going out to dinner and I thought you might like a shower,” he said stroking her hair.

Her eyelashes fluttered as she opened her eyes, “Going out? Why?” she asked in a groggy voice.

“I thought that taking everyone out to a nice dinner would be a good time to announce that you are to be my mate.”

She smiled, sitting up to give him a hug. He was going to announce it to the family, that made it feel even more real in her heart. She always waited for the bad things to happen, but this time it would be different. Her heart swelled at the thought of being with Sesshomaru forever. Her joy grew at the thought. By announcing it he was finalizing it and there would be no second thoughts. He really did want her.

“That sounds wonderful,” she said as tears of joy filled her eyes.

She lifted her head from his chest and leaned up to kiss him, trying to convey all of her feelings and emotions into that one kiss.

“Did you wish to clean up before dinner. You can use the hot tub in my bathroom to help you relax. After what’s happened the last few days I am sure you hurt and feel a little stiff.”

“I would love that,” she said trying to get out of the bed.

She hissed in pain at the movement. She hurt so bad and all of her muscles hurt from stiffness. Sesshomaru shook his head and kissed her forehead before carefully picking her up bridal style to carry her to the bathroom. He set her down on the toilet as he ran the water, then turned back to her. He pulled a robe and towel out of the cabinet sitting them next to the hot tub. He hesitated for a moment before asking her what was on his mind.

“Would you like me to help you undress and get in the tub?”

She hesitated for a second and finally said yes.

“Let me go talk to Inuyasha real quick while the water finishes running,” he said cupping her cheek and then leaving the bathroom.

Inuyasha was in Shippo’s room helping him get dressed.

“Inuyasha, I am expecting the tailor to drop off a dress soon, can you bring it to my room and put it on my bed when it gets here?”

“Sure.”

Sesshomaru then turned around and ran quickly downstairs to make a cup of Kagome’s tea to help with the pain. It only took him a minute and as soon it was done he ran back up to his room using his demon speed. Surprisingly not a single drop was spilt. He walked into the bathroom to see Kagome sitting right where he left her. He set the cup down and slowly walked over to her and started to nervously undress her. She blushed as he took her top off.

“Sesshomaru?”

“Yes, koi?”

“I was wondering if um maybe you would uh like to join me,” she said nervously looking down unable to meet his gaze.

He was shocked for a minute but quickly recovered, “Are you sure you would be comfortable with that?”

She nodded and slowly looked up to meet his eyes, “We are soul mates and soon we will be mates, so I don’t see why not.”

Sesshomaru wrapped his arms around her and kissed her, tilting her head back a little to deepen the kiss. He could feel his heart racing in his chest and was starting to feel his lust rise. He pulled back from the kiss and willed his body to calm down while they both caught their breath. He started to undress her again and nearly growled at all of the bruises on her body. He had seen the ones on her face, arms, wrists, neck, and even some on her legs, but this was his first time seeing the rest of the damage the wolf had done. Her breasts, ribs, hips, stomach, and thighs were also littered with bruises. No wonder she hurt so bad. He handed her the cup of tea as he began to undress himself. When he was done he turned off the water and went back to Kagome. Kagome was stunned, he was so perfect and beautiful, why would he ever want to be stuck with someone like her? She felt warmth pool between her legs as she gazed at his perfect body. When he turned to her she blushed and quickly looked down, she was sure he could smell her arousal and was completely embarrassed.

Sesshomaru smelled her arousal before he even turned to her. He tried to calm himself before turning around. As soon as he turned to her he could see the blush as she quickly looked down. He smirked, she looked so cute when she blushed. He slowly walked up to her and gently picked her up bridal style. He walked over to the hot tub and stepped in. He slowly sat down holding Kagome securely in his arms. As soon as he was settled he sat her in his lap and wrapped his arms around her. She cuddled into his chest and sighed. He could feel her body relax as the warm water and tea did their work. When she finished the tea he took the cup and set it on the ledge.

“Are you comfortable koi?” he asked looking down at the tiny woman in his arms.

“Yes, very comfortable. You always make me feel comforted and safe,” she replied looking up at Sesshomaru and gently kissing his chin, her eyes never leaving his.

He smiled at her and reached for the washcloth and soap. He lathered the washcloth and gently started to clean her. When he was just about done he felt Kagome’s arms wind around his neck. She smiled and turned so she was straddling his lap. She leaned forward and kissed him deeply, taking the washcloth from his hand. Sesshomaru didn’t realize when she took the washcloth he was too tied up in the kiss. She tasted so sweet. He felt her tiny hand start to rub across his chest with the washcloth. He let out a small moan as she ran the cloth around his nipple. She broke the kiss and started to kiss her way across his jaw line and down his neck. He moaned again as she kissed his chest and then took one of his nipples into her mouth. She suckled and nibbled on it as her other hand came up to play with his other nipple. She lightly pinched it and then switched sides. Sesshomaru knew he needed to stop before he went too far, but it felt too good. He knew if he took her now that the pain from her attack would only cause it to be unpleasant.

He trailed his hand softly down her side and was about to stop her when he felt her tiny hand wrap around his painful erection. All thoughts left his mind with that gesture. She leaned up and kissed him as her hand started to pump him. He started to thrust into her hand as she picked up the pace. His mind was lost in a cloud of lust. All he could see was Kagome and all of his senses where in hyper-drive. His body was so sensitive to her touch. He could feel the coil in his stomach tighten more and more. He felt his hips thrust faster as he came closer to his release. He wanted nothing more than to be buried inside her but managed to hold himself back reminding himself of her injuries. Just as he was about to come Kagome ducked under the water and he nearly lost it when he felt her hot mouth surround the head of his cock. After he finished rinsing her hair he pulled it to one side and placed a gentle kiss on her neck and then nuzzled it taking in her beautiful scent.

“Tonight, I will return the favor,” he whispered into her ear causing a shiver to run through her.

She didn’t know what had come over her, but she had felt his erection and for some reason wanted to help him find relief. She just smiled and turned her head to kiss him, finding that she was anxious to see what tonight would bring. Then she turned him around and had him dunk his head. After she was done lathering and finger combing his hair she had him lean back in her lap so she could rinse all of the shampoo out. When she was done she had him sit up and retrieved the washcloth so she could finish washing his body. She almost giggled as she heard what sounded like a purr come from him as she washed his back. As soon as she was done Sesshomaru stood up and reached down to pick her up.

She didn’t protest as he carried her over to the towel and robe he had pulled out for her. She loved when he held her in his arms, she felt so safe and secure. He wrapped a towel around his waist then started to dry her so gently it was like he was afraid he would break her. When he was done he wrapped her hair in the towel and slipped the robe onto her. She watched in fascination as he dried himself. She licked her lips as she watched beads of water run down his toned abs. He looked like a god. As soon he was done he grabbed another robe and slipped it on wrapping the towel around his hair. Then he slowly made his way to her and lifted her in his arms. Kagome gasped when she saw what was laid out on the bed. It was a beautiful blue evening gown, the same color as her eyes. It looked like it was form fitting and she could see a slit on one side that would go up to mid thigh.

Kagome turned questioning eyes to the man still holding her. The dress was absolutely beautiful, but how did he know what size she wore? Why had she bought the dress for her? She didn’t want him to blow his money on her, she was not used to such treatment.

“I bought it for you for dinner tonight, koi. We are going to a nice place and I wanted you to have something beautiful to wear. I wanted you to have a nice dress so that this night will be even more memorable.”

“Thank you so much, Sess, but you didn’t have to. I don’t want you to waste your money on me,” she said looking into his beautiful amber eyes.

“I wanted to. Besides as my future mate, I will always give you whatever your heart desires. I want to spend my money on you,” he said giving her a breath stopping smile before leaning down to capture her lips with his own.

After a couple of minutes he pulled away and carefully set her down on her feet, making sure she had her balance before letting go. Kagome walked over to the dress to look at it more closely. She was surprised that it had a matching strapless bra, thong and shoes. The sizes were perfect, she had no idea how he knew what size she wore, but at the moment she didn’t care. It was all so beautiful and he was so sweet for getting it for her. Sesshomaru walked to his closet to pull out his tuxedo, he could hear the rustling of fabric as she stripped out of the robe to get dressed. He turned and watched her as she as she started to put on the lingerie. He felt his breath catch in his throat. She was so beautiful, like an angel. When she bent over to step into the thong he could feel his cock start to come to life again at the sight. He had a perfect view of everything. She stood back up pulling the thong up and he quickly turned from her as he tried to regain control of his body.

Kagome carefully slipped on the dress afraid that she would rip it because of how delicate it felt. She slipped the small straps over her shoulders. After Sesshomaru zipped the back Kagome went to the mirror to look at herself in the mirror. She was shocked, there was no way that the beautiful woman in the mirror was her. She watched in the mirror as Sesshomaru stepped up behind her and gently kissed her neck.

“You look beautiful,” he whispered into her ear and then placed the pendant back around her neck.

She brought her hand up to the pendant and couldn’t stop the smile that came to her face. She turned around and hugged Sesshomaru, feeling his arms wrap around her small frame. When he released her telling her that he needed to finish getting ready she turned back to the mirror. She admired her reflection for a moment longer before starting to brush her hair. She put it up in a bun leaving two tendrils to down to frame her face. Then she started on her make-up. She covered the bruises on her face then added light eye shadow, eyeliner, and a little lip gloss. When she was done she looked into the mirror again to check her handiwork.

“Perfect,” Sesshomaru said stepping up to the mirror and grabbing a brush.

She took the brush from him and carefully started to brush out his hair. When she finished she set the brush down on the vanity.

“Do you want to leave your hair down or do you want me to braid it or put it in a low ponytail?” she asked wrapping her arms around his waist.

“I think I will leave it down,” he said looking in the mirror to straighten his tie.

“I thought you would say that. I think it looks better down anyway,” Kagome said walking back into the room.

She sat down on the edge of the bed and started to put on the shoes. They were silver, strappy high heels. After she had both of them on she walked to the door where Sesshomaru was waiting. He put the light shawl that came with the dress around her shoulders and then placed her hand in the crook of his elbow. They left the bedroom to find Rin already waiting for them. She was dressed in a beautiful little evening gown and her hair was up in pigtails. Rin smiled and walked to Sesshomaru’s other side and took his free hand. Inuyasha and Shippo were waiting downstairs and Inuyasha’s jaw nearly hit the floor when he saw Kagome. She looked so perfect and hot. He quickly shook his head to clear his thoughts before walking up to meet Kagome.

“You look very beautiful, Kagome,” Inuyasha said letting his eyes travel over her body.

He was brought back from his daze by a warning growl from his brother. It was quiet enough that he was the only one to hear it. He backed up and smiled in apology to his brother. He walked back down the steps and scooped Shippo into his arms.

“Well, the limo is here, so shall we?” Inuyasha said.

They all followed him out and Sesshomaru helped Rin and Kagome into the limo before climbing in himself.

“Oh, and by the way Sess, there may be quite a crowd waiting for you when we get there. Somehow at this place they always find out when we’re coming.”

Sesshomaru had to fight back a groan. Why couldn’t they ever have a peaceful meal? He would have to find a way to keep them away.
