"You've got alot of nerve, Wolf!" Inuyasha spat as he drew his sword and pointed it in the direction in which Kouga stood. Kouga smirked as the wind blew through his long black hair. His eyes intentsly on the hanyou's powerful sword. Kouga knew all to well how powerful that sword of Inuyasha's was and right now he wanted no part of it. "Whatcha waiting for, Wolf? Get your furry ass down here and fight me!"
Kouga scoffed "You idiot! I ain't got time for this!" he yelled as he heard a loud crashing noise behind him. He looked up to see the biggest bird of paradise he had ever seen in his life. "That's it...that has to be it..." Kouga muttered to himself as he quickly hopped off the ledge he was standing on ascending up the mountain toward the bird demon.
"You'll pay for kidnapping Kagome and Sango!" Inuyasha yelled as he began to chase after Kouga.
Kouga paused for a second "Sango...? There's that name again...Why the hell does it stand out to me so much...like...i knew her before.." He mused only for a second then began to ascend the mountain again, "Get out of here, mutt!" He yelled as he sensed Inuyasha hot on his trail.
"50 more feet up, Kouga!" Kagome yelled out from the ground.
Inuyasha's eyes were as big as they could possibly get. "Why the hell are you helping him out?!"
Kouga looked up. This was as high as he could go and there was nothing up there, "50 more feet higher? Because this is as high as I can go!"
Just then Kouga sensed something coming up behind him quick. He spun around and came face to face with the bird that possessed the shard. "End of the line for you, Bird brain!" He yelled as he lunged toward it. The bird quickly clamped down on Kouga's arm with its teeth, leaving him dangling from it's mouth like a piece of scrapped meat. "Thanks for the hand! Now we shall devour it, jewel shard and all!" The bird demon proclaimed.
Kouga groaned in pain as he struggled to break. "Damnit!" He yelled as he kicked the bird in it's large teeth, breaking it's teeth and gaining freedom but in the process the shard in his arm was ripped out as he realized this his eyes grew wide, "H-Huh? The shard in my arm!" he yelled as he began to free fall from the sky and landed directly on his face on a flat with a loud thud causing a large hole to open up in the ground at impact. Injured, Kouga struggled to look up as he saw the bird hovering over him, "D-Damn it, I-It's coming back for the jewel shards in m-my legs..." Then from the corner of his eyes he saw a flash of red approach, "O-Oh great! It keeps getting worse and worse..Why are you here!?" He snapped as Inuyasha stood beside him, eyeing the hovering bird then looked down at him, scowling. "Shut and take notes, Flea bag! Your about to witness real power now!"
"Two jewel shards left brother! I know just think of the power we will have once we take them!" The demons exclaimed to one another as a bright yellow light began to shine from its mouth. Inuyasha raised the tetsusaiga, locating the windscar and swung the powerful demon sword toward it leaving the bird in pieces. Kouga's eyes were wide as he witnessed. He never in his life seen such power,

"You killed that giant bird with one swing!" Shippo cheered as he ran up to the hanyou who landed effortless on his feet from the mountain. "You certainly mastered the windscar..." Miroku praised as he too approached Inuyasha. "Heh, Yeah well...now for them!" Inuyasha bragged as he pushed threw the crowd of wolf demons, "I single handedly handled the pigeon from hell! Now for this idiot." He said as he looked down at Kouga who Kagome had her arms. "What the hell do you think your doing, Kagome?!" Inuyasha snapped. "He's injured! Can't you see?" Kagome snapped back.
Kouga didn't care what was going on above him. His eyes were shut tight as he thought about his encounter with the taijiya earlier. Her long dark brown hair flowed through his mind as he whispered her name softly, "Sango..." As all the memories of her in their future life began to flood his mind.
Kagome eyes shot open as she gasped. Inuyasha growled, "Where the hell is Sango, You sicko?! What the hell did you do to her!? You wear her scent all over your body..."
Kouga began to get to his feet slowly, keeping his hand pressed tight against his injured arm, "You fool! That woman wears my scent!"
Inuyasha growled, "Stand back, Kagome. Things might get a little messy here after i'm done handling this idiot."
"Inuyasha SIT!" Kagome yelled sending the poor hanyou crashing face first to the ground. She then gave Kouga soft, pleading eyes, "Kouga...can you please, please tell us where Sango is?"
"N-No chance!" Kouga managed to exclaim as he felt the pain shoot through his arm again reminding him just how badly injured he was.
"I've got this, Kagome." Miroku said as he whacked Kouga on the back of the head with his staff.
"What the hell was that for?!" Kouga snarled as he turned to the monk "Can't you see I'm injured enough as is?"
Miroku sighed and shook his head "Just tell us where Sango is..." Kouga growled, "Why should I?!"

"I'm here..." A voice sang out from a ledge as everyone turned and looked. "Sango!" Kagome squealed as she ran over to the taijiya, she blushed bashfully a bit as she saw all Sango had to over her body was scrapped pieces of what was once her kimono. "Sango? Where are your cloths...?"
Miroku smirked, "Well, well..."
Sango and Kagome both glared at Miroku who back away slightly.
"Get away from her!" Kouga yelled as he struggled to Sango who blinked a bit shocked from the way he spoke. Kouga looked at Sango and Sango gazed back as they found each other's eyes. "I remember..." Kouga whispered, his eyes shun as if he was on the brink of tears, "I remember everything..."
Sango smiled as tears began to flow from her eyes.
