Kagome once again found herself running for a door as she bent over and let another round of vomit come forth. It has only been a few weeks since she has been back after finding out that she was pregnant. Normally she would just be suspecting that she might be. But being pregnant with a demons child, she was already showing. She figured with talking to Kimi and what she knew about when a human is pregnant that she would be full term with Sesshomaru's baby around the four to five month mark.

Feeling a strong yet gentle hand on her back as she coughed again she couldn't help but feel her heart race. The last few weeks he has been nothing but over doting to her and to Rin. She knew that she could never forget about him raping her. But she did know that the more she was with him like this the more she was falling in love with him. The more in love with him she fell, the easier she found it to be around him and forgive what he had done. After all, seeing him in the state she was in when she found out that she was pregnant, she realized that he was right. Had he denied what was going on, his demon would have come out and her rape would have been brutal and even more painful than it was.

Finally done getting sick Kagome smiled as she welcomed a cloth from him to wipe her mouth. "Arigato Sesshomaru."

"You are fine?" Sesshomaru no longer tried to hide how he felt about her from those in the palace. She came back to him knowing that she didn't have to. His child or not, and he was ready to die for her. But she decided to come back on her own. He did not care what anyone else thought. He was going to show his emotions with her and Rin from now and.

"I am fine Sesshomaru. I know your mother said getting sick like this isn't done when you are a demon, but I know that getting sick like this for a human is perfectly natural. Progressing the way I am with the baby being hanyoukai, I suspect that the morning sickness should pass in another week or two."

"Your 'morning sickness' lasts all day long."

Laughing as she let him lead her back into the palace Kagome looked up at him with a sparkle in her eyes. "Mama said that she was sick for three months straight with me. From the time she got up, to the time she went to bed and a few times she would wake up having to get sick. I am her daughter after all. I am going to be just fine."

With a smile for her Sesshomaru sighed. "If you insist." He then looked up when he heard steps coming toward them from in front. He blinked when his nose registered that it was his mother. "Mother?"

With a sigh Kimi stopped just before them. "I know. I know what I said but.........." Then her eyes flickered down to Kagome then back up to Sesshomaru's. "Lets just say that I have had a change of heart when it comes to my grandchild. I heard a servant saying that she is still getting sick?"

Kagome sighed as she rolled her eyes. "I swear. No offense Lady Kimi but you can't compare my pregnancy to a demon one. For one simple fact, I am not a demon i am a human. We are different."

"Izaiyoi..............."

"I am not her either. I am me and this is how I am going to deal with being pregnant. You will all see. In a few months time there will be a new generation and I will be just fine. But right now, if you would excuse me I am going to go and lay down. My back is hurting me today. My Lady. Sesshomaru." Then she walked on past them and toward her room. 'Great now I got her to attend with? Sesshomaru is bad enough but this is his kid after all. Kimi, you can tell she hates me still.'

Shutting the door behind him to his study Sesshomaru glared at his mother. "So tell me why you really came mother?"

Her own glare on her face Kimi turned to her son. "I have been doing some research of my own with the bond between a demon and a human like the one you and Kagome have."

"What of it?"

"What are you going to do when she dies Sesshomaru? I understand that there is no breaking it and this is the facts of life. But think about it. If just letting her leave and not having her near you sent you over the edge like that nearly killed you what is going to happen when she dies? We need to find a way to prolong her life. Even if it is freezing her in time so you can be near her and smell her."

Sesshomaru sighed as he sat on the floor behind his desk and leaned against the wall. "I have been looking into things that I could do. If only the Shikon No Tama were not gone for good, I would use that and turn her into a demon herself. Other than that there is nothing that I can do and will have to figure out what to do when that time comes."

Growling and pulling her son's eyes to her Kimi crossed her arms and her eyes narrowed. "That is not good enough sochi! You must..............................................."

"Might I interupt this party?"

Sesshomaru turned to see Totosai sitting in his window. "What do you want Totosai?"

Rushing in the room and rapping Sesshomaru on the head, knowing what he could do, Totosai glared at him. "Your father would rip you a knew one if he knew how you got your mate and what you had to do to get her!" Then he sighed as he looked down. "But I know Kagome will send herself to an early grave soon as the pup is born knowing that she can't see him or her grow up. But there is one thing that you can do, that would help her in more ways then one if you want to do it."

"What is that?"

"There is a spell that can be cast that lasts forever. Until the person dies, only in death will they remember what the spell tells them to forget. You can erase everything about the rape. She won't remember it. Not in the least. Then her love for you will grow deeper and her want to truly bond and spend eternity with you will change her life span to be the same as yours. At a price from you."

"What is the price?"

With wide eyes Kimi gave her son a look of pure shock. "You are actually going to listen to this old fool? You can't be serious about it!"

"Quiet mother!"

Totosai sighed as he met Sesshomaru's eyes. "You can erase everything about the rape from her memory. It will be replaced with a pleasant memory of the two of you, and an alternate memory of what happened to Inuyasha and her friends. But the price that you have to pay is the loss of your left arm again. If she has something changed in her mind, you have to give something in return. Your left arm."

"You daft old fool there is no way that Sesshomaru would ever...................................."

Pulling his mother's eyes to him Sesshomaru growled so loud that he vibrated the very floor that she stood on. His eyes focused on Totosai. "If losing my left arm will allow her to stay with me and raise our child into adulthood without a memory of something aweful happening to her at my hands, the only cost I have to pay is the loss of my left arm again. I will make that sacrifice a thousand times over to do it. What do I do?"

her eyes wide as she looked at her son. That same resolve to save Kagome from a life remembering a rape by him was the same resolve she seen in the eyes of his father wanting to save Inuyasha's mother. 'Inutaisho you fool. Your son got more than his strength from you. He got your stupidness too. All this over a little human girl on both your parts. I don't get it.'

A/N: Sorry it has been so long since the last update. Real life gets in the way sometimes :) I got a new story I am going to post tonight too. It is going to be a Naraku/Kagome story. Come check it out!
