~ The Higher Realms
~
The angel looked at the
white haired demon that was sitting in the so called waiting room and then he
smirked. The demon had been in the waiting room for a very long time now. The
higher regions rarely took in demons, but this one was an exception. The demon’s
name was Sesshoumaru and he had protected a part of the world against an
unspeakable terror. And for that he was going to be granted into the heavens.
But not just yet, first he had to protect an innocent. Not against evil or
anything like that, but against her self. The angel descended down to the
waiting room and the demon moved to stand up. He never bowed to them, that were
beneath him he had said on several occasions.
The angel just nodded to
him to sit down again. Sesshoumaru refused. His golden eyes glowed with almost
pure hatred against the feathery creature before him. He knew why he was there.
The higher powers had given him a ticket into the heavens, but only if he did
one last thing for them.
-
Sesshoumaru, it is time for you to move down to the earth
again, said the angel.
-
Why should this Sesshoumaru do your biddings? asked the stoic
demon lord, his face did not reveal any kind of emotions.
-
Because this is the only way for you to avoid being thrown
into the nether worlds, said the angel.
-
Hmpf, as if that could be any worse than sitting here,
waiting for you to decide what to do with this Sesshoumaru?
-
You have been chosen to guard over a young woman who is a
danger to herself and she can be a danger to others as well.
-
A woman? A human woman? They are just pathetic weak beings,
said Sesshoumaru coldly.
-
You might want to change you opinion about this one once you
get to “know” her, said the angel with a wicked smile.
-
This Sesshoumaru doubts it very much.
-
Will you do it?
-
So this Sesshoumaru has a choice? snorted the demon lord.
-
No, not really, it is either guarding her or you go straight
to… well, you know where, said the angel.
Sesshoumaru growled but
nodded. He did not want to share space with Naraku and his legions of demons,
nor did he want to see that pathetic figure that his half brother once had been
so infatuated with, Kikyo was her name he thought.
The angel took an
invisible breath of relief. He had seriously doubted that the demon lord could
be persuaded to guard over a human woman, but he had. And this woman needed a
strong protection. She had no fear what so ever. She was a dare devil. But her
last escapade had left her in a coma. “Well, that’s what you get for trying
to climb up and down the Grand Canyons walls.” thought the angel. The
woman’s ordinary guardian angel had turned in his ‘badge’, telling everyone that
this woman was impossible. He was finished, through and done with her. At the
moment she was out of danger, but the angel knew that she would wake up again,
and she would resume her dangerous need for thrill. She needed something
stronger than the usual guardian spirit and Sesshoumaru was the demon for the
job.
= = = ••○•• = = =
Sesshoumaru felt his body
gently descend through the dimensions of the heavens and suddenly he was in a
dusky hospital room. He looked around and had to take a moment or more to
realize that many years had gone by since he walked the earth. He tried to
remember what happened when he had to leave, or die as they said. He had seen
his young ward Rin, now aged and married to Kohaku, die while trying to save her
husband from a raging fire. Both had died in that firestorm. After that he had
lost his mind, why he did not know. But he had lost it right there and then. And
since he had lost his will to live, a fight against a rather large demon had
taken his life. But it had to be centuries ago. His mind was uploaded with the
necessary information about this time and about the woman he was going to
protect in the future. He turned around and saw a black haired woman lying on a
bed underneath a layer of sterile blankets. She was young, perhaps around
twenty-five or so. Large bruises could still be seen on her face. His
information told him that must have been very lucky to survive such a fall. And
this was not the first time she had hurt herself while doing her death defying
acts. But it never held her back; she just recuperated and then right back where
she had stopped. Sesshoumaru had to agree that she was a interesting woman. The
only woman he had known to be like that was a woman who had traveled with his
brother. A demon slayer she was, strong and fierce. But she had two weak spots,
her brother Kohaku, whom had married his little Rin, and that monk with a wind
tunnel in his right hand. He wonder for a moment what happened to those two, the
slayer and the monk, but then he just shook his head. Why was his mind feeding
him memories of times passed?
Sesshoumaru walked over
to the bed to take a better look at the woman. Perhaps it was her likeness with
the taijya that made him remember old times and not only her dare devil-spirit?
He stiffened when he heard the door open and a nurse came into the room. He for
a moment forgot that he was a guardian spirit now, and that he was invisible.
But the nurse didn’t notice him and he relaxed, he could not be seen by humans.
Animals could notice his presence he had been told, but not humans, unless they
had a very well developed sixth sense.
He heard the nurse talk
to the woman in the bed and he felt cold when he heard the name Sango. “Could
it be possible…?” No, he shook his head. He did not believe in
reincarnation, and yet they said that the oddly dressed and loud mouthed girl
that hung around Inuyasha was the reincarnation of the miko Kikyo, whom later
had been resurrected and walked the earth in a pottery shell. No, this was just
a coincidence he told himself. But if it was true, then his Rin could be walking
this earth as well. No, he dared not to hope. Her death had killed him once; he
would not let it happen again. “But you are already dead.” A voice
taunted him. He curled his upper lip and growled menacingly at the voice. But he
stopped when the nurse suddenly gave up a small gasp. Sesshoumaru’s amber eyes
looked at the woman in the bed. She was no longer unconscious, but wide awake.
A small chaos erupted.
The woman in the bed, his new ward was shouting to be released from this hell
hole immediately. Sesshoumaru was for a few seconds at lost when Sango, his
ward, knocked out two nurses and managed to give a doctor a large black eye.
More people came into the room and a needle was pushed into Sango’s arm and two
seconds later she was out cold. He listened to what the humans talked about and
it made him mad. They had taken his ward for a lunatic, but all she wanted was
to get out of the hospital. He snorted as he saw them put leather straps on her
wrists and ankles. But he agreed with the angel now, this woman was dangerous,
both to herself and to others.
Two days passed before
Sango awoke again. But this time she was not as violent as the first time. She
just opened her eyes and looked around. He could see green speckles in her light
brown eyes, giving them an unearthly look. He remembered those eyes; the demon
slayer had such eyes as well. Eyes you could drown in or be burnt by if you drew
out her anger. Again Sesshoumaru shook his head. He did not believe that this
Sango was the reincarnation of the taijya from Senko Jidai.
= = = ••○•• = = =
Sango cursed her luck.
She was strapped into a bed, in a hospital… located Goddess knew where. She was
treated like a bad case of lunacy. She re-lived her last day before she lost her
consciousness. She had been climbing the walls of the Grand Canyon when she had
lost her grip. She should be dead; by all means she should be really dead. But
she wasn’t, just as the times before she ended up bruised but not broken, and
definitive not dead. She was not afraid to die, she actually sought out death.
But somehow the Grim Reaper managed to ignore her attempts every time. She did
not want to slice her wrists or dangle from a tree in the woods. When she went
out, she was going with a blast. But no… Either they refused to give her
entrance to the other realm, or she had a remarkable luck every fucking time she
did something daring and lost it.
Sango sighed and closed
her eyes. It was not like she was unhappy or something like that. It was just
something inside her that wanted to have action all the time. Addicted to
adrenaline rushes they said, but it was not that either she knew. It was
something else. It was like a pull, a wish if you like. A pull towards that
other realm. It was like a whispering voice, telling her that if she crossed the
line, going like a hero she was, she would meet her friends again. But what
friends? All her friends were still alive, not that she had many of them, but a
few was there when ever she had need for them. Her days as a dare devil had
began right after she had turn eighteen. She had been badly hurt while
bicycling, especially her back. It was after that the strange dreams began, the
soft voices in her head calling her over to the other side. But they didn’t want
her to just end her life, she had to do something very brave and die while doing
it. One day she just gave in and climbed high up in a tree to save a little
kitten. She fell out just as she grabbed the kitten. She landed on her feet, and
then she rolled over, but the kitten was safe. People that had stopped to watch
her was amazed, not a single broken bone, just bruised knees and elbows. They
said that she had been watched by her guardian angel. Sango had snorted. She did
not believe in such things. She had just been lucky.
Perhaps she was crazy
after all? Ordinary people did not climb high mountains or decided to try and
paddle a canoe down a raging waterfall. They did not play hero when it came down
to simple robbers, nor did they get into bar-fights. But Sango did, what was
wrong with her? Perhaps she should just lie in this bed, let them give her
tranquilizers all day and all night to keep her still? But then again – that
would not be her. She grunted and tried to break the bonds that held her tied to
the bed. But she gave up pretty soon; she had to be Superwoman to pull that
thing off. She moaned and sunk back onto the pillow.
= = = ••○•• = = =
Sesshoumaru was not sure
where his responsibility lay, or how much he could interfere in the real world.
But seeing this proud and daring woman lie helpless in her bed made up his mind.
With a flick of his wrist, his claws had shredded the bonds that held her tied.
Surprised that it worked, he did the same with the rest of her bonds. At first
she didn’t seem to notice but when she did, she did not question why she was
free. She just grabbed the sheet and wrapped it around her body like a sari and
she walked on slight wobbly feet over to the door. Sesshoumaru heard her curse
quietly and then she closed the door again. Obviously there were people in the
hallway outside the door. He knew that they were on the third floor, but that
did not seem to stop his ward. She just opened the window and climbed over the
edge. He barely got the time to dematerialize and then re-materialize at the
foot of the building. His strong arms caught her and made her land gently on
the ground. Again he was surprised to see her just run from the spot, not
thinking about her miraculous landing. He followed her as she ran towards the
city lights. He heard her talk to herself, asking where the hell she was. But
then she seemed to have gain knowledge in which city she was and she headed
towards a specific point.
Sesshoumaru saw her
stroll into the lobby of a shabby motel, moving with the grace worthy a queen.
She smiled at the portiere and asked ever so kindly if she could have a spare
key to her room? And the man seemed so stunned that he just nodded and gave her
a key. Then she walked to her room. Once there she gave up a small scream of joy
that made Sesshoumaru’s pointy ears flatten in horror.
= = = ••○•• = = =
Sango took a quick shower
and then found some clothes. Her bag was still at the hospital and she needed to
get it back. She just prayed that nobody had snooped around too much in it. If
they had, too bad for them, because she would kick their asses if they had.
She opened the window and
climbed outside, she used the fire-escape ladder down. For a moment she stopped,
certain that she had heard a soft sigh in relief. Then she just shook her head.
She was just hearing things. Sango ran back to the hospital and sneaked inside
through the intensive care units entrance. She was not sure how she knew where
to go, it was like someone was guiding her through the windling corridors of the
hospital. Guiding her to a room, which of course was locked, but just when she
was about to turn around a small click was heard and she tried opening the door
again. “Ok, this is getting creepy.” she thought but afraid… no, not this
lady. She quickly entered the room and saw a hell of a lot of bags. Her eyes
soon find her black leather back pack that had been with her from the beginning
of her strange journey to seek the other realm from where the voices came.
She grabbed it and was
about to sneak out the door again when it opened. “Fuck!!” she cursed and
ducked behind a large container. She heard voices talking about a strange
incident earlier that day. A woman in restraints had escaped. How it was
possible nobody knew, nobody but the woman had been in the room, but the
restraints had been slashed and thrashed by an unknown force. Sango wanted to
gulp when she heard this. She knew that it was her they were talking about. Now
everything became painfully clear for her. Who exactly had helped her? Because
she knew, just as they had known… she had been alone in the room. “Don’t
dwell on that now Sango… now you must keep your head clear if you want to get
out of this mess and continue you journey.” The voice in her head was not
hers, but she followed it, just as she had the last years of her life.
Five minutes later the
voices was gone and Sango came out of her hiding. She tiptoed over to the door
and opened it carefully. When she was sure that nobody was going to notice her,
she stepped out and walked towards the nearest exit. The voice in her head was
telling her how good and cunning she was and now it was time for her to travel
north.
= = = ••○•• = = =
Sesshoumaru could almost
see the inner conversation she had. Was she just talking to herself, or did she
hear voices? Perhaps she was crazy? The angel’s voice in his head told him that
she was not crazy, but it was possible that she really heard a voice, just like
Sesshoumaru heard his. But who would want a young woman like Sango to act as a
crazy dare devil and risk hers and others in the process? The angel did not know
this. Sesshoumaru had to admit that this mission was beginning to grow on him.
Or was it the fact that he had been sitting in a white room with nothing to do
the last four hundred years? But he suspected that he would not have a dull
moment with this woman if things progressed like they did now.
And yet he cursed the
higher powers that had put him on this task. His proud demon soul had no need of
looking after a human girl. As it was now, she could take care of her self. But
he also knew that the powers had imprinted in him that he must protect this girl
at all costs. And for that, he cursed them even more. But he was curious to what
drove her to do the things she did.
He followed her back to
the shabby motel where she packed the rest of her things and headed down the
escape ladder once again, thus sneaking away from her tab. She was not only a
dare devil but a criminal as well. Sesshoumaru’s lips twitch in an attempt to
smile. But he found himself and put on his icy mask again as he silently
followed her, gliding over the ground the ghost he was.
“Hmpf, the great demon lord Sesshoumaru, reduced to a mere ghost that follows a
human woman. Pathetic.”
= = = ••○•• = = =
Sango felt a pull towards
the north. She followed it; the voice in her head told her that she was going to
join her friends in the other realm. They longed for her to come so they could
be together once again. Sango sighed and longed as well. The voice had
practically settled down in her mind now. She heard it every hour of the day.
Perhaps she was so used to hear it now that she never questioned who or what it
was or why she heard it? Right now she was going north until the voice told her
otherwise. Every now and then she was sure she could hear a voice right next to
her, telling to stop and rest, but then she just shook her shoulders, telling
herself that she was hearing things.
= = = ••○•• = = =
Sesshoumaru began to feel
worried about the human. She was pressing herself way to hard. She could go on
for hours without food or water and then she just found the nearest dry spot and
slept. The angel who put Sesshoumaru on this task was also worried and said so
to the demon lord. “It must be the voice in her head. I am sure that she now
are possessed by something. She’s following that voice no matter what it asks of
her.” said the Angel to Sesshoumaru as the demon watched over the exhausted
girl. She was sitting underneath the branches of a giant spruce, her back leaned
into the thick trunk. “Where am I… which country? I can read the signs even
though I never saw them before.” said Sesshoumaru in his mind to the angel.
“Its called America or the United States. The knowledge
of reading and understanding their language is our doing. But the girl seems to
be going even further north. Towards a country called Canada. Who knows where
she ends up or what she will do next?”
Sesshoumaru frowned and
dismissed the angel from his mind, telling him that he needed to think. He
brushed a few black strands of hair from her face. The bruises she got from the
fall in the Grand Canyon were almost gone, only small yellowish marks could be
seen here and there. The girl began work her way into his heart and he did not
like it… He had let a human girl do it once before and look where he ended up.
He sighed as he lifted up the girl and moved to sit against the tree himself
with her between his legs. He didn’t know if she could feel him or that he could
provide her with warmth, but he had to try. Once again the angel came into his
mind. “Lord Sesshoumaru, you shall be granted a few more gifts. Since you
have taken a liking to the girl you will be able to touch her and she will be
able to feel you. You can make your self visible if necessary, but only to her.”
said the angel and then he was gone.
That was a relief for the
demon lord, then he could give her some warmth. He put his arms around her,
hugging her real close. He relaxed and just listened to the night’s sizzling
sounds.
= = = ••○•• = = =
Sango awoke during midday
feeling oddly comforted. She realized that it was the first time in many months
that her dreams was not haunted by the voice that called out for her to join her
friends in the afterlife. The temperature had risen when the sun warmed up the
air. And now the golden beams created a wonderful light show between the
branches of the spruce. Then she rubbed the sleep from her eyes and began to
questioning things. “Where fuck am I? Should I not be home helping
grandmother clean up her garden? What day is it? What time is it?” she
thought as she felt panic wash over her. She tried to stand up but something was
holding her back, but she could not see what it was.
Sango screamed as she
fought to get free from the invisible thing that held her captive. She could
swear that she was being held by strong arms and yet she could not see anything.
She felt tears of terror fall down her cheeks and her heart was beating so fast
in her chest that she thought she was going to die from heart failure.
-
Do not fear human, I have no intentions on harming you…
The voice came out of
nowhere and that made Sango even more frightened. The voice had been so deep and
so dark that she feared it would consume her very soul. The arms closed tighter
around her upper body, keeping her arms locked against her sides. She began to
beg for her life. More tears and screams.
-
Be still woman or else I will use force on you!!
The voice again, but this
time it sounded more terrifying then before. And yet she recognized it, was it
not the same voice that had told her time and time again to take a break when
she traveled? And again – where the hell was she?
In the end everything
became a blur to Sango and she lost her consciousness. The lack of food and
water and proper rest did much of it, but the thing that had tipped her over the
edge was the knowledge that something, or was it somebody, had kept her
immobile. She fainted.
= = = ••○•• = = =
Sesshoumaru cursed
himself, he had scared the living daylight out of his ward and now she lay in
his arms, dead to the world. He moved away from her, grabbed her bag and flung
it over his shoulder and then he picked her up and carried her bridal style
through the dense forest. He needed to find a better place to let her ride out
her terrors. He had felt something nearby during the night, something that was
pure evil. Something that hated Sesshoumaru for shielding Sango from the
darkness and the cold of the night. Sesshoumaru also knew that Sango’s sleep had
been a good one. No nightmares or disturbances as it had been the nights before.
Once again he thought that it was because he was holding her in his arms and he
was going to make sure that he did so until he knew what was after his little
girl. He stopped dead in his tracks, almost dropping Sango. His little girl???
No, no, this was getting too far. It had to stop. He growled and began walking
again. He had not thoughts what so ever if someone saw a fainted, floating girl
in the forest together with an equally floating back pack. But if they could see
him as well, they would probably think that he was a figment of their
imagination. Dressed in white puffy hakamas, formfitting blue shoes, a large
white haori with flower
embroidered
into the white silk. Now he only
wanted to find shelter for Sango now. And he sighed as an old woodsman hut
appeared not far from him. He only prayed that it would be empty.
The door was unlocked and
by the smell that hit his sensitive nose, it had not been used for many years.
That was good. He placed Sango against the wall and opened all the windows. He
found several old blankets which he shook clean from dust and the occasional bug
that had found a home in the thick wool. Once that was done he inspected the bed
and did the same with the mattress. Once he was satisfied with it, he put Sango
on the bed and put a blanket over her. Sesshoumaru could barely believe the
things he was doing for the woman. He was almost acting like he was her mate or
something. He growled at that. Like he would take a puny human woman as a mate.
No, that would never happen!
Not long after he had put
Sango to bed, Sesshoumaru had a warm fire going in the big iron heater. He
looked around a bit more in the cabin and wonder what kind of people had used it
before. Hunters perhaps, woodsmen? He was not sure. But he stopped thinking
about the moment Sango began to whimper in her fainted state. He rushed over to
her and picked her up and sat down on the bed with her in his arms again. The
whimpers stopped and she settled her head against his shoulder. He saw her nose
twitch a bit before moving to bury her face in his old fashion clothing.
Sesshoumaru refused to admit it, not even to himself, but it felt good to know
that she in her unconscious state was taking comfort in his arms.
= = = ••○•• = = =
Sango’s dream world was
warm and fuzzy and she felt really good lying in a warm bed. Her beloved mate
was lying next to her, cuddling her as she buried her face in his neck. He
smelled of clean water and wild forest. She remembered this dream, she have had
it since she was around fifteen years old. In this dream her man or mate as her
dream-self called him, was always had white hair and glimmering yellow eyes. Why
she had no idea, perhaps that the combination was just an impossible one. But he
was her dream guy. Now she was with him again and she looked into his face, but
this time she was a bit perplexed. He had strange markings on his face, two
magenta stripes on his high cheeks and a crescent moon on his forehead. Her hand
went up to trace the stripes on his left cheek, and now when she came to think
about it… his facial structure was a bit Asian wasn’t it? But he was beautiful
and Sango smiled as she nuzzled closer to his form. He was warm and it felt good
in her tired soul. She had been travelling for so long and now it felt good to
just lay here with him, not doing anything at all.
Then she stiffened. Her
thoughts were never this clear when she dreamt, neither were her sight. But she
could see this face of his clear as day. She was not dreaming, she was awake.
Sango choked on her breath and began to wiggle. More impressions hit her – she
was lying in a bed… in a bed with a stranger. And just as she was about to get
out of the bed he opened his eyes. More shock – his eyes were yellow!
= = = ••○•• = = =
Sesshoumaru had been
almost sleeping when he felt her move around next to him. Sometime during the
late afternoon he had moved them to lie down on the bed. Her face had been
pushed into his neck and he had felt chills run up down his spine. This time he
would not take any chances, this time he would let her see him. He didn’t know
how he did it, but the way she was staring he was sure that she could see him
now. Her mouth moved, but not a sound came over her lips.
-
No, I am not a ghost or a monster, said Sesshoumaru, keeping
his voice low so he would not scare her too much.
-
W-who a-are y-you? she whispered stuttering.
-
My name is Sesshoumaru, and the higher grounds have chosen me
to be your spirit guardian.
-
W-whaaaat? she gasped out.
-
I have been watching over you since you woke up on that
hospital. It was I who freed you from your bonds, said Sesshoumaru and was sure
that her eyes were going to pop out of her head.
-
Why? This time her voice was low but steady, she moved a bit
further away from him and he did not try to grab her.
-
You are being followed by an evil entity, we have just
discovered it. I suspect that you hear a voice in your head, telling you to do
all kinds of death defying stunts?
Sango couldn’t voice her
words, she only nodded.
-
They say that as long as I am close, he can not take control
over your mind, so my dear slayer, you will have to get used to the idea of me
hugging you, smirked the demon lord before he realized that he had called her
slayer.
-
H-hugging me?
Sesshoumaru nodded but he
could not understand what had gotten into him. He was not acting like he usual
cold self. For a moment he thought it was her smell so he leaned closer to her
shivering form and sniffed at her, making her shriek in horror. She pulled away
but as she did, Sesshoumaru could see her eyes getting clouded, who ever was
trying to get her to kill herself was close. Sesshoumaru grabbed hold of her
wrist and pulled her back into his arms. He could have sworn he heard a howl of
fury as he hugged Sango closer.
Sango began to cry as
something was ripped from her mind. Again she was crushed a hard chest and she
was hugged by the strange man in the bed. “Goddess, what is happening to me?”
she thought as she began to shake violently. Something hated the fact that she
was with this man, and this something was pure evil. She could feel it.
Instinctively she moved closer to the silverhaired man and pushed her face into
the column of his neck, begging him to help her.
Sesshoumaru was at lost,
he knew that the evil entity could not get to Sango while he held her, but as
soon as he was away, the thing was there, trixing with her head. Something had
to be done. He called the angel. The feathery creature suddenly filled the small
cabin and he sniffed the air and then frowned.
-
That is odd, said the angel.
-
What is? snarled Sesshoumaru as he tried to comfort the
hurting girl.
-
It should not be possible and yet he’s here.
-
WHO’S HERE!!???
yelled Sesshoumaru, now he was pissed off. His amber eyes began to bleed red.
-
You called her slayer before, so my guesses is that you know
who she once were?
-
Yeah, she was a demon slayer, travelling with my bastard
brother, spat the demon lord.
-
She was going to marry a monk, but she never did. You were
fighting on her side against Naraku, that was why you were given this chance.
But after that battle she should have married the monk, but he could not stay
faithful to her, so she left…., the angel said and then he looked very confused,
his silvery blank eyes began to flicker as if he was reading something in a fast
rate.
-
WHAT?!!
-
Wait a second… please, asked the angel.
Sesshoumaru just growled
and looked down on the sweaty face of Sango, her eyes were shut but her lips
were still moving, he could hear her whisper. She was asking him to save her
from the darkness, from the voice that called out to her to come over to the
other side where her friends were.
The angel heard it as
well and that made him frown, could it really be? But as the minutes passed and
things only got worse for Sango, the angel called down a flaming sword and made
a swoop with it around them and in the cabin. A scream so terrifying that the
windows almost shattered echoed pierced the air. The angel then sniffed the air
again, and this time he was pleased to find it clean and cleansed. The sword in
his hand disappeared just as quickly as it had appeared. The angel was smiling,
but not Sesshoumaru.
Although he was happy to
feel that Sango no longer was ranting about or shivering, she was just sobbing
quietly. Sesshoumaru glared angrily at the angel, silently demanding an answer.
-
Sango left the monk and went searching for you Lord
Sesshoumaru, said the angel finally.
Sesshoumaru’s eyes
widened slightly before narrowing again.
-
She wanted you to train her in combat, or so she said to
everyone she knew. But we have looked into her former heart and know that it was
just a lie, a sweet little white lie.
-
What are you implying? asked Sesshoumaru as he absently began
to stroke Sango over her hair.
-
Sango loved you. She knew that you hated humans, but she had
overcome her fear for you and only wanted to be close to you. She loved you that
much.
Sesshoumaru shook his
head in denial. He distinctively knew that the slayer was infatuated with that
perverted monk. And she was a demon slayer; she made a living of killing the
likes of him. She could not love him.
-
Then ask her about her dreams, ask who she thinks are her
mate, suggested the angel. – And the evil entity was non other than a very
jealous monk whom had been stood up by the slayer. He hated her for it and went
on a killing rampage in the village she had left him in. He never forgave her
for leaving him. Somehow he manage to reach her from beyond the grave,
controlling her mind to do all those things, so she would die and he could get
to her in the other realm.
And with that the angel
smiled sadly before leaving the two alone.
Sesshoumaru forgot about
the angel shortly. All he had to do was look at the small trembling figure in
his arms. How did this happen anyway? Not too many days ago he was a cold,
snarling demon, waiting to get into either heaven or hell, now he was sitting in
the middle of nowhere with the reincarnation of a demon slayer from the Senko
Jidai in his arms.

Sango was finally feeling
some sort of peace in her mind. She felt relieved, her spirit felt free and
elevated. What had happened? Had she been sick? Someone was gently stroking her
head and hair, whispering comforting words. Goddess, it felt good. She tried to
get more of that wonderful warmth that now was entering every dark corner of her
soul.
-
Sango, look at me, she heard the voice ask.
-
No… don’t want to wake up just yet my mate, she mumbled as
her hands gripped his silky shirt.
Sesshoumaru’s heart
skipped a beat. No, she could not have said… no.. it was not possible…was it?
-
Sango, you are not asleep, said Sesshoumaru. – Although you
have been through a nightmare for the better part of your adult life.
-
I must be asleep, because you are only there in my dreams.
You don’t exist in real life, she mumbled as she began kissing his neck, she
smiled as she heard him gasp in surprise.
-
Why would I not be real?
-
Because you are a demon in my dreams koishii, and demons
belongs in legends and fairytales, never in the real life.
Sesshoumaru couldn’t help
but chuckle. He wanted her to look at him so he could prove that she was wrong
and yet he didn’t want her to stop what ever she was doing to him at the moment.
Just feeling her soft lips against his throat, the way her tongue snaked out to
tease his adams apple. It sent heated beams of lust straight to his groin.
Sango was still sure that
she was having a very vivid dream. Her mate, the man in her dreams could not be
real. In her dreams he was always a demon and even though her grandmother often
talked about demons still walking the earth, she always thought it was an old
crazy woman talking. Demons did not exist, only in her dreams. But the warmth
that now engulfed her body as she leaned into that hard chest, large hands that
gripped her behind had claws and she could feel them through the denim of her
jeans. He moved her to straddle his legs and she could feel the bulge of his
desire press against her centre. This dream was more vivid than she ever had
experienced before and she would be a fool not to get everything out of it.
Sesshoumaru’s body was
touching the heavens just as his heart was having trouble accepting her half
sleeping consciousness. He wanted her to be aware, he wanted her to acknowledge
his true identity before going any further. He wanted her to say his name first.
He moved his hands from her well shaped bottom and cupped her face, pulling her
away from his throat.
-
As lovely as your mouth is on my skin Sango…. I need you to
do something for me, he said as he looked into her brown-green sparkling eyes.
-
What, my beautiful demon? she said with lazy voice.
-
Say my name….
Sango looked perplexed,
what did he mean? Of course she knew his name… didn’t she? She had it there…
just on the tip of her tongue… She always called out his name as he took her in
her dreams, so she knew it. She blinked at him and tears began to form in her
eyes.
Sesshoumaru’s demon heart
began to beat harder and harder in his chest. Her tears was tearing his soul
apart. And once again he was stunned by his own transformation. He had been so
cold, so stoic, that hardly anything could touch him. And here was the soul from
a time where he had cared for a young human girl, only to see that girl die in a
firestorm. And this soul had been searching for him; she still had some memories
of him, calling him a demon. And yet, she refused to believe that he was the
real thing now.
-
Sango, you need to understand that you are awake, you are not
dreaming now, said Sesshoumaru with a voice he barely recognized as his own.
-
B-but… you only come in my dreams, said Sango confused.
“Give me a few more
minutes and I will come over your pants.”
He thought as she pushed against his hardness.
-
You are a soul reborn from a demon slayer Sango. Once you had
that very name as well. The evilness that possessed you to many daring things
was a very jealous soul that didn’t want you to find happiness in this life,
said Sesshoumaru as he gently caressed her cheeks with his thumbs, trying to get
her to understand.
Sango blinked and blinked
again before moving her hands to her eyes, trying to rub the sleep from her
eyes, not to mention the image of the gorgeous figure that so often visited her
in her dreams. But it did not matter how much she rubbed her eyes, every time
she looked forward she gazed right into a pair of molten gold eyes.
-
Ooookej…. So I am not dreaming am I? she said with her breath
caught in her throat.
-
No, I am as real as you can get Sango, said Sesshoumaru and
smiled.
-
How?
-
I do not know how it is for demons in average in this time….
but I was sent from the higher realms to protect you, because your other
guardian spirit gave up on you. You have lived your life on the edge since you
were eighteen years old Sango. You have been saved from death because your time
is not up yet. You have something more to give to this world, said Sesshoumaru,
unsure why he said these things at all. But he suspected it was the things that
the angel had imprinted in his mind from the start.
-
Y-you are my guardian spirit? she whispered as her fingers
moved through his silky silvery white hair.
-
Yes, that is correct Sango.
-
B-but how… why have I see you in my dreams?
-
A long time ago, your soul inhabited a body of a tajiya, a
demon slayer. You travelled with my half brother; you were a part of his pack.
You wielded a…
-
Giant boomerang? mumbled Sango and cut off Sesshoumaru’s
explanation for a moment.
-
Yes, and you were very good at it. You fought with the
strength worthy of a full blooded demon Sango. You protected you friends and you
went straight into the mouth of Naraku, not caring what happened to yourself,
you were unselfish, only wanting your friends to be safe, said Sesshoumaru and
put a few black strands of her hair behind her ear.
-
So my dreams were only figments of a past life?
-
Yes…
-
And you are a real demon?
-
Yes.
-
But why do I dream about you? Why do I want you to….. touch
me?? she asked with a trembling voice.
-
The being that gave me this mission to protect you, told me
that you had searched for me after a great battle in the past. After the battle
that would bring us peace, weather you was a demon or a human, you gave up on
the man who said would be your devoted husband. But he could not just stick to
you, he sought other females to bring him pleasure, said Sesshoumaru and he felt
his eyes hardened just thinking about it.
Sango looked at the
silverhaired figure in front of her. His golden eyes held the sincerity she had
looked for so long in a man, and yet… she was unsure.
-
P-please…. t-tell me more…, she asked as she felt her throat
constrict around her words.
-
Let me ask you this instead Sango – why do you want to touch
me? asked Sesshoumaru as he mentally groaned when she shifted her place on his
lap. – Answer me truthfully…. Please.
-
I like you… my heart… it tells me…
-
What does it tell you Sango? What does your heart tells you?
Sango bit her lip, unsure
if she should spill her heart’s desire towards this creature, but her soul
craved that she did.
-
My heart tells me that I love you, it does not matter if you
are a demon or something else. My heart tells me that I always have loved you, I
do not know how it is possible, but I have loved you before and I love you now.
Sesshoumaru felt his
heart melt at her words and he pulled her face closer to his and he kissed her.
His tongue entered her mouth, tasting the depths of her. The small gasp she
exhaled as he pressed her body closer to his was only pouring gas onto his fire.
Gods, how could he have missed the fire she had in her the first time….?
Sango was still not sure
if she was awake or if she was dreaming. But the hands that now was grabbing her
naked waist told her that her dream-period was over and this was the real thing.
“He’s real…. My dream-guy is real…. And he’s kissing me… holding me…” She
thought as she melted under his touch. What ever had held her back in the past
was shoved aside. Now she wanted to enjoy. She pulled away from the mouth that
invoked carnal pleasures within her and she looked at him.
-
Remember this – if this turns out to be a dream…. I will have
your dreamy demon ass!!
-
Not a dream Sango….
-
And what is your name…. demon? she asked.
-
My name is Sesshoumaru.
-
Sesshy or Sess then, said Sango with a perky smile before she
kissed him again, effectively silencing every protests he could have against the
shortening of his name.
Sesshoumaru growled into
her mouth as she said the small nicknames… but when they flowed over her lips….
Hell, he would even accept Mr. Fluffy… if it was her that said it.
But as their kiss
progressed he could feel the need to be buried deep inside her and he pulled
away, a small string of saliva still lingered between them.
-
Please Sango… let me take you, he whispered as he pushed her
pelvis into his hardness.
Sango could only nod, she
wanted him as well. She needed him. She could feel her soul tremble just
thinking about him being inside her. “This is what I always wanted…” she
thought as her hands moved under the silky textile of his puffy pants and freed
his erection. “Ok… I wanted him… not a fucking horse!!!” she thought as
she looked down on his erected shaft. He would never fit… would he??
-
Y-you are big? she managed to gasp out as his length filled
her hands.
Sesshoumaru did not
answer her question, he knew that he was well endowed compare to human males.
Sango moved away from him and he was for a moment afraid that she would turn him
down. How wrong he was…. A small smile grazed her lips as he looked at her. She
unbuttoned her jeans, she removed the black shirt she wore and then… that breast
piece and panties was gone in a flash.
-
Take me demon!! she ordered as she straddled his legs again,
putting his throbbing erection against her hot entrance.
-
Are you sure? he asked as he cupped her face, seeking her
approval in full.
-
YES!!
Since I am not sleeping, I am not dreaming of you… And my dreams tell me that
once a demon takes a human, mating with her… they will belong together. And I
want to belong to you! said Sango with firm voice.
Sesshoumaru laughed
softly, so she had remembered some vital things from her dreams after all.
Without further ‘go-ahead-signs’ he guided the tip of his erection into her wet
hole. The moment she engulfed him with all her warmth he was sure that he was….
“Home… she is my home.” rushed through his head as he growled at the
feeling of her wet silk around his shaft. She sat still for a few seconds. She
was a virgin without the physical sign of virginity. But he was rather large..
.larger than the average human man and she needed a few moments to get used to
the stretching he did.
Sango could feel him deep
inside her as she sunk down on his male member. She pushed down until their hips
touched each other. She could feel his shaft twitch inside her and she let out a
dark moan. Their eyes locked again and this time the handsome man was smiling at
her. She could not help but smile back at him.
-
I was locked in a white waiting room for so long Sango, he
said as his hands gripped her hips, pushing her closer to him. – They never said
anything… I just waited for the moment I could have the chance of getting into
the realm of heaven.
-
H-heaven? She panted as he touched her sweet spot with his
shaft.
-
Yes…. heaven. But now I know that the heaven is not a realm
above…. It is here… in your arms. You are my heaven Sango, said Sesshoumaru as
he pushed deep into her trembling body.
Sango closed her eyes and
threw her head back as the first wave of pleasure washed over her. Her hands
fisted themselves into his hair as his head lowered to her breast, catching a
pert nipple in his mouth. His hand grabbed her lower globes to help her ride
him. The gentle movements of her lower body made Sesshoumaru gasp for air.
-
Woman!! he practically snarled as her inner walls gripped
around his shaft.
-
D-did I do something wrong? asked Sango, and stopped moving.
-
No… no… I just, groaned Sesshoumaru as he tried to find his
icy self control again. But it was a lost cause. Her hot snatch was making the
all mighty lord to loose all his senses.
Sango flexed her inner
walls and managed to wring yet another dark sound out of the silverhaired man,
who’s face she admired and had dreamed of so often. But she knew this time.. or
rather.. her heart knew that he was not a dream. He was a living and breathing
demon and he wanted her. He wanted her – the creepy dare devil. He wanted her
and right now he was worshipping her breasts. Not that she could imagine why,
because she thought she was so flat over her chest. She had very small breast,
but that didn’t seem to stop him, he cupped those small things she had in his
clawed hands, tasting them, telling her that she was made just for him. He told
her that she had been made just for him.
-
See… my hands fits you perfectly, said Sesshoumaru and put
his hands over her small breasts.
Sango could not answer,
the way his fingers were playing over her sensitive nipples… and the way his
pubic hair was brushing over her clit.. Goddess, how the hell should she be able
to keep Sunday from Thursday?
He could feel her edge
coming closer and closer and his fangs extended in his mouth. He wanted to mark
her. The life of spirit-hood did not seem to affect this part of him. Then
again… did he care? Not right now anyway. He felt her inner walls ripple with
the feeling of pure pleasure and he followed. His fangs was dug deep into her
shoulder, making sure that she never would escape him in the future. He made
sure that she was marked just like a bitch to the great dog demon clan. Her
blood tasted like the fountain of youth and Sesshoumaru swallowed it greedily as
he waited for his mark to appear under his fangs.
-
Sango, he moaned as his grip released and he moved away from
her, pulling his shaft away from her throbbing slit. He saw a river of their
mixed cum flow down the crack of her ass and it made him harden a bit again.
-
Sess… promise me one thing…
-
Anything my little slayer, said Sesshoumaru as he rolled off
her to lie on his back.
-
Let me be yours, she begged with huge eyes.
-
Slayer… you sought me in the past… rest assure that you have
caught me now, said Sesshoumaru with a smirk before he caught her lips again.
Sango lost it again and
let him kiss her to kingdom come. But one day she would make sure to pull the
whole story out of him…
THE END!!
