(Chapter 11 Recap)

Hot bodies grinded against the other, Sesshomaru using the headboard of his bed as leverage to press further into Inuyasha and Inuyasha grasping Sesshomaru’s hips in a desperate attempt to keep him as close to him as possible.

When both climaxed Sesshomaru wordlessly got up and headed toward the shower, leaving Inuyasha to his own devices.

Inuyasha never once thought to ask Sesshomaru why he couldn’t have just jacked himself off in the shower, or humped his bed by himself instead of grinding him into the bed like some bitch. Not that he was complaining, but still.

Inuyasha got up shakily, stumbling his way through the dark house to his room. However, right before he was about to go into his room he heard harsh grunts and a long moan coming from the bathroom.

“Sesshomaru...” Inuyasha breathed, turning to face the door the sounds were emitting from behind. The hanyou’s breath caught when he heard Sesshomaru’s climax, and the one word he let stumble past his lips when only feeling and emotion rode the body; “Inuyasha!”

The hanyou’s eyes enlarged, breath caught as he just stared at the door, not even noticing how long he’d been standing there. Only when he heard fumbling behind the door did he snap awake, retreating into his room and shutting his door just as the door to the bathroom opened.

Sesshomaru’s eyebrows shot up into his hairline at the audible click his little brother’s door made as he stepped out into the hallway.

Inuyasha hadn’t heard when he’d climaxed, had he?

Something inside him laughed, which was more than likely that asshole Lord Stick Up My Ass, and said, He heard every desperate sound you made.

And if that was the case...

Chapter 12: Sesshomaru, Past or Present?

(evening still, during the smexing/last part of Chapter 11, from Sesshomaru's POV)

It was... so... hot... So... fuck, fuck, fuck!

Since he had hit puberty, he'd pleasured himself countless of times, in many numerous ways... He'd been with a few women here and there, too, but this... Inuyasha... with him... he...

Nothing he had ever done, with anyone, or even to himself, had compared to what he was doing... right now... with Inuyasha... to Inuyasha...

While, before, the sound of "dry humping" anyone into a bed sounded stupid and less than appealing it was anything BUT. Feeling a warmth radiating from beneath his little brother's night sweats was unbearable... He wanted to feel skin to skin contact with the hanyou... he wanted to rip those damn cotton pants to shreds and...

And before Sesshomaru knew it the half-demon and he had climaxed... both heaving as quietly as they could, Sesshomaru's hand still holding his headboard in a vice like grip, his knuckles white, while still straddling Inuyasha's hips, the hanyou's eyes closed and his own labored pants pushing past his delectable looking mouth...

A mouth that could probably do so much... more. A warm, wet mouth...

Sesshomaru shook his head once, violently. He couldn't take it... if he stayed here longer... if he didn't move NOW, he'd-

The demon got up wordlessly, walked out of his room as steadily as he could as he made his way to the bathroom down the hallway, not daring to look back at the one still lying on his bed, hair disheveled and clothes in disarray.

Damn it all, but he still needed MORE! The youkai cursed as he slammed the bathroom door shut, all but ripping his remaining clothes off before flinging himself under the hot spray of water. It took no more than five minutes and he was already panting into one of his palms, body leaning against the tiled walls and hand relentlessly tugging on his source of need before he released with a shuddering yell of, "Inu...yasha!"

Moments slid by in his post haze bliss, his mouth hanging ajar, eyes droopy against the slippery tile, warm water cascading over and around hard muscles. He sighed, trying to figure out all the confusing emotions and feelings coursing through his body in the aftershock.

Why? Why did he crave the hanyou so much? He desired him... heart, body, and soul... it quivered within his own being to the point of madness. This insatiable need to be with him... a part of him... one with him.

Sesshomaru sighed as he turned the showerhead off before securing a towel around his hips. When he opened the door, the audible click across the hall froze him in place.

Gold eyes widened.

No...

Inuyasha... hadn't heard, had he? That small notion sent a wave of fear through the youkai, and, oddly enough, a thrill, too.

Heh, he heard every desperate sound you made, the ancient soul within his body responded snidely.

Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck... Sesshomaru then began to panic.

He wasn't sure how long he'd been standing there, eyes stuck on the door before him, but it felt like hours. When he did shake out of his trance he knew he needed to come to grasps with reality and figure out a plan... someway to lie his way out of this... someway to convince his brother that it hadn't been HIM that had...

That's when he got the idea.

Sesshomaru blinked.

When morning came and he'd had some sleep... he knew what he needed to do.

The old soul sighed, grumbling to himself.

"I thought you said they held a semblance of intelligence," the great daiyoukai said dryly, regarding his mate with a sideways glance.

After their vessels had fallen asleep the two ancient souls had rendered their reincarnations stuck in REM so they were able to take over the control of flesh. They sat together at the top of the stairs, discussing the boys’ “fool proof” Plan of Action to Keep their Ancient Souls Suppressed.

"Oh, shut up! They do! They’re just..." Inuyasha struggled.

"-Using excuses to get into each others’ pants doesn't count, otouto."

Inuyasha snorted. "Keh! You're one to talk. If I remember clearly, you were the one that always wanted into mine!"

Sesshomaru chortled before snaking an arm around his mate's torso, pulling him onto his lap. "Hai, and I still do..."

"Argh! Not now, teme!" Inuyasha snapped, swatting the lingering claws away from his person but staying in the demon's lap. The hanyou blushed but wiggled about until he was comfortable enough, causing Sesshomaru to snort in kind.

"In any case, the mere audacity of their young minds...” the demon king chuckled deeply. “Thinking they could suppress us, and by messing around with each other no less? Ridiculous."

"Haha, yeah, I guess it was a clever way of getting around to what we would have done regardless, I suppose. Just think of it as another step in the direction of getting what you want, you old dog," Inuyasha teased, slapping his mate on the chest halfheartedly.

Sesshomaru grinned, a fang popping out between his lips. "Indeed. I look forward to the moment when they realize that sexual thoughts and or actions is what brought us out in the first place, and will continue to allow us access to the use of their bodies."

Inuyasha leaned against his brother's body, nestling into the crook of his neck, breathing in deeply. "Heh, I'm surprised you haven't taken all the chances Ru has given you, what with all his ogling and longing for the puppy."

"Yes, well, I'm luring him into a false sense of security, quite similar to the way I seduced you all those centuries ago."

Inuyasha sat up, looking at the youkai with a scowl. "If you try anything, I'll castrate you."

"I believe if we are to get back on track of getting our two younglings to like each other, we ought to take advantage, as you suggested, of each situation that we can, ne?"

Inuyasha merely growled, highly annoyed and just a little bit-

"Mmm, while you become so jealous, I still know you enjoy it, otouto. Thoroughly," the daiyoukai passionately growled, snagging one of the hanyou's ears between his lips, nibbling it with tongue and fang.

The hanyou gave up, allowing his mate and himself this small bit of sensuality.

Inuyasha hadn't realized when he fell asleep until he was woken up by the instinctual, eerie sense that someone was watching him... from within his room...

The hanyou bolted upright, and, while it was morning, rays of sunshine slipping through his window, his eyes were still unfocused and looking around frantically for whatever phantom feeling had caused his mind to stir. And then in his peripheral vision caught sight of it.

"What are you-?"

"I..." Sesshomaru paused briefly from his perch on top of the hanyou's desk. "I was wondering if you remembered... anything from last night?"

Inuyasha stared, eyebrows knit together. "Why...?"

"I can't remember the majority of last night... It's all black..."

The hanyou's eyes went wide.

Wait a minute... did that mean that... last night... in Sesshomaru's bed, and when he'd heard his brother grunt out his name it... wasn't really him? It was the ancient demon within him that did those things? That made those sounds? That-...?!

"But I don't understand... I... I thought it was you that..."

"Dragged you to my room?"

Inuyasha's mouth flopped at that. "But I thought you didn't-"

"I remember... dragging you to my room. Though once we got there... my mind goes blank," Sesshomaru said almost wistfully, looking off to the side at a picture of his brother and his friends. He really didn't like that wolf leaning into his brother the way he was...

"Oh. So... HE came out, you think?"

"Obviously," the youkai snipped, eyes snapping back to his brother and causing Inuyasha to flinch. Sesshomaru caught himself and took a (hopefully) calming breath. "Can you fill me in on the details?"

Inuyasha blushed, stammering, "W-well..." Crap, crap, crap! Think of a way to say it without sounding dirty!! Inuyasha cursed internally. "When we got to your room... uh, well, we did what we had to so we could suppress your past soul... Then you just left and went to the bathroom and... uhm..." the hanyou trailed off awkwardly, coloring once again.

"And?" Sesshomaru pressed, his facade cool and collected, his mind and heart rate anything but.

"Well... I guess your past self needed... more... and you... well, I guess, He called out my- I mean, his past... lover's name... and that's all, I think."

"I see," was Sesshomaru's curt answer. He closed his eyes momentarily before he got to his feet and made for the door. "You ought to take a shower, half-breed, you smell of your own release and that of mine." And with that the youkai left, leaving a furiously embarrassed Inuyasha in his wake.

For the rest of the morning they had tried to avoid each other, but every now and then, as expected when staying within their house, they'd run into one another. Each time was the same as the last. They'd freeze, stare and then scurry off as fast as they could. Needless to say it was highly awkward whenever either looked at the other, the smallest of glances able to render them into a heat of skin, a rush of memories and a chill to thrill their bodies once again with the others.

However, the countless glances they stole of the other had an unanticipated effect and it was only a matter of time before one of them would break out in heated goose bumps, feel that reverberating thrum throughout their being and either let their past soul loose or go to the one that could possibly keep their past selves suppressed.

Inuyasha drew the unlucky stick, his entire body feeling... different...

He felt it... deep within his chest... that familiar feeling just before he blacked out... He panicked and sniffed his brother out, finding him getting ready for a shower after his daily workout in their small dojo. The hanyou couldn't even form words to ask (to plead, to beg) for what he needed... and thankfully he didn't have to.

Sesshomaru seemed to know without even having to hear a sound from him. Just the look in his eyes, the absolute raw emotion, the need he saw there... Merely gazing at his brother, having found those emotions there. They made Sesshomaru feel the same.

The youkai grunted, motioning with his head toward the bathroom before both wordlessly walked inside, the door closing behind them.

He was... for lack of a better word... nervous.

Not only was his brother naked, but he was, too. And they were in THE large bathroom again.

The hanyou shivered from the memory that momentarily overwhelmed him from their last encounter here before shaking his head and trudging forward, following his brother’s very nude backside into the shower.

Inuyasha gulped at what he was... about what THEY were about to do.

They had decided, rather awkwardly, that hopefully “accepting” and watching the other jack off would be enough to stave off their alter egos for the time being. While Inuyasha felt uncomfortable and more than a little embarrassed about it, Sesshomaru merely took to the task at hand, so to speak, the moment they walked in.

The hanyou froze, blushing wildly and unable to look anywhere else than at the spectacle (live action porn movie in physical form) before him. The youkai caught his look before closing his eyes momentarily, trying to gain some semblance of his haughty confidence back.

"What, haven’t you done stuff like this before with your friends?" Sesshomaru asked, the words slightly shaky as he worked his shaft slowly, starting at the base and pulling upwards in short, tight tugs. God, those eyes on him...

Inuyasha had to shake his head clear of the haze that seemed to be engulfing his mind before processing the question that his brother had asked. "Uhh-... well, I guess... There was this one time with Kouga when-" the hanyou stopped mid-sentence at the narrowed look he received from the shower’s other occupant and decided to then amend what he was originally going to say with, "No, no I haven’t."

Sesshomaru seemed to accept that answer and leaned back against the warm tile of the shower, eyes closing as he slowly continued to pump himself, secretly thrilling with the knowledge of his little brother's eyes on him.

Inuyasha in turn was entranced by the scene before him, and instead of taking his own manhood in hand to savor the moment even more, he couldn't help but keep his eyes or his attention on his brother. He found it...weird, but, he thought it was... hot... watching his brother do this... being so close to him when he performed such an intimate act on himself... jesus, he hoped he didn’t open his eyes and see him staring like some... pervert...

Inuyasha started to pant unconsciously.

At the soft sound of labored breathing, Sesshomaru’s eyes cracked open, hoping in the back of his mind to catch his brother at work. However, he was shocked to see Inuyasha just staring at him, eyes roving his body, but mostly concentrating on the area his hand was working. A pounding jolt hit him then suddenly and that did it. The next moment, before he even realized he was about to surrender to one, he climaxed harder than he ever had.

Sesshomaru fell against the wall, his body sagging and his mouth huffing out harsh breaths.

Inuyasha's breaths were in tune with Sesshomaru's own labored ones, his chest heaving from the impact of his brother's orgasm and his lack of one. He closed his eyes and then leaned against his side of the slippery tile wall before almost slipping and knocking himself unconscious at the feel of claws on his thighs and heavy breathing in his ear.

The half-demon’s eyes snapped open and was particularly flabbergasted when he saw Sesshomaru there on his knees in front of his own standing form, panting just as deeply as he was, eyes riveted on...

“Little brother, do you even know how to touch yourself?” Sesshomaru whispered lowly, his voice rough yet sliding over every erogenous point on the hanyou’s skin like silky oil.

The puppy-eared half-demon could only nod dumbly, eyes completely focused on the sex eyes Sesshomaru was currently making.

“Then do it, touch yourself,” the older male demanded, attention completely taken by the strong, drooling organ before him.

Inuyasha was rendered immobile to the spot, but whether it was fear or excitement that seemed to be immobilizing him he wasn’t sure. Though with Sesshomaru so close to him, directly in front of him like this he couldn’t bring himself to do much of anything other than tremble in his skin.

“I... can’t,” he barely got past his lips, a fang biting the side of his mouth to keep himself from moaning and thrusting his hips against anything Sesshomaru might offer to cause friction, or God help him, something much warmer and wetter...

Sesshomaru barely caught the whine, his concentration so focused on Inuyasha’s twitching shaft, the heaving of his tight abdominals, the wetness near his mouth...

“We’ll have to remedy that then,” Sesshomaru breathed, looking up at his brother’s panting face. He then rose to his feet, standing in front of the shorter male, body flush against the younger ones. His desire was already returning with fierce, unnatural force, and he couldn’t help but grind himself against the younger male in front of him, pushing the hanyou back into the tiled wall with a resounding moan spilling from the lips of either party.

“Don’t worry, little one, I won’t hurt you,” came a husky, familiar yet foreign voice.

Inuyasha froze, looking up into the hovering form of his brother and caught sight of darker-colored eyes, a flash of those odd markings again before the skin went back to normal.

“L-Lord S-Sesshomaru... What are you-” Inuyasha stuttered, not liking the fact that the old bastard had somehow taken over his brother’s body.

“Ah, so you know who is in control now? Pity,” the old soul grinned through his present body before leaning forward and whispering in a triangle of ear, “I must say, I’m very flattered by the title in which you say my name with... but I’d rather hear you screaming my given name when I make you peak in your desire for this body.”

Inuyasha groaned as one of his ears was taken into a hot, ridiculously experienced mouth.

“How did you-” the hanyou tried to get out, eyes closing in pleasure as claws slid down his back to squeeze the supple flesh of his ass.

“How did I take over, you mean? Simple of course. He let me.”

Inuyasha’s eyes snapped open. “What?!” Surely... Sesshomaru wasn’t that disgusted by him to not want to touch him... was he? For some reason that though hurt Inuyasha’s heart like no other pain he’d ever felt.

“Come now, why the long face, little one? I know exactly what makes your body tremble, what makes it arch in pleasure... Why would you rather have his inexperienced hands running over your flesh? Merely fumbling awkwardly with it?”

“I- I never said that! I-!!” Inuyasha panicked. He really didn’t want to make this ancient being within his brother angry. What if he hurt Sesshomaru because of something he did or said that offended the Feudal lord? Then again, fuck that! He didn’t have to bend to this bastard’s wishes, even if he was a few hundred centuries older than him!

Said Feudal lord grinned, fangs glinting as were his eyes as Inuyasha was about to object. “Then allow me to partake in your delicious body, little one.” And with that the youkai lord bent his head down, licking up the trail of blood that had trickled to the hanyou’s chin from biting his lip so hard.

When he came upon those lush lips of his mate’s current vessel, that were so much like his previous life’s, he couldn’t help but moan and devour them instantly. He thrilled in feeling the young half-demon stiffen in surprise but then slowly give in, kissing back with just as much passion.

He hoped that being as old as he was, having lived so many lives thus far, he'd have the strength of will power to be able to pry himself away from the delectable near replica of his mate before he lost all control to his instincts. The tantalizing scent and the knowledge that the present hanyou was unmarked urged his inner youkai to claim the little half-demon.

The ancient youkai paused in his ministrations, only now realizing the little inuchibi was laving his tongue over the daiyoukai's chest. Sesshomaru regarded the youngling with soft eyes, his current predicament receding from almost uncontrollable, mindless lust to a bit more collected rationale.

No... He could not give into his instincts and take this child. For he was indeed a child to his own thousands of years of life, and that was only one of the many reasons. But the more important of all of them was the simple fact that if he did claim and mark the youngling, his true mate, the one that he had shared countless lives with, would quite possibly be forever lost in the abyss of this one's mind...

And that was a chance he would never take. To satisfy a hunger and lose that which was most dear to him? That was not a price he was willing to pay.

But he would quell his thirst, and he would sate this youngling's desire, hopefully pushing both the vessel's closer together.
