Miroku looked at his
right hand with nothing less than awe and confusion. Where the wind tunnel once
had been were only flesh and skin.

They did it� he whispered roughly. � They fucking did it!!!
He turned around and saw
the pale little girl next to him and he let all his emotions flow free and he
picked her up and spun around with her. She eeped but when she saw his happy
smile she lost her emotionless mask and she smiled as well.

Yes houshi-sama, they did it� we are free�

Kanna-chan, I love youuuuu!! sang Miroku and kissed the
girl�s cheek as he danced around with her.
Kanna knew what he was
feeling because she felt is as well. But she had trouble showing it, but she
smiled, content with the outcome of the fight.

Kohaku walked over to the
dragon and patted the two heads. He smiled gently.

We did it� we did it, he whispered to the dragon.
The dragon answered with
a growling sound, but put his heads against the boy�s neck, nuzzling it. The
dragon was relieved as well.

Yeah, I like you too dragon, said Kohaku and found a good
spot on each head to scratch.
The dragon made another
approving sound and Kohaku smiled and looked to where his sister stood.

Kagura could not believe
it � he was gone� he was really gone! Nothing but dust remained of her former
master. �I am free� I am FREE!!!� her mind wanted to sing out the
words but she could not vocalize them. She grabbed the slayer�s hand and
squeezed it hard.

I am free Sango-san�. I really am free, breathed Kagura and
turned her crimson gaze at Sango.

I am glad, said Sango with a smile.

I am forever in your debt, ask me anything and I will
everything in my power to make it happen, said Kagura.

Ride the winds like you always wanted to Kagura-san and I
will be happy, said Sango.
Tears rolled down the
wind witch cheeks and she moved to hug the slayer. She wanted her to know how
much she appreciated their help.

Inuyasha looked around
and saw his mate being crushed into the arms of Kagura. He hid a smile as he
rushed over to Sango. He needed to be close to his mate.

I believe your mate wants you now, said Kagura and released
Sango from the warming hug.

Inuyasha�.

Mate� Sango, my love� said Inuyasha with a rugged voice.

I am here love, I am unharmed. Are you ok? she asked.

Yes� we are all ok mate.
Kagura saw the hanyou
pull the taijya close and she turned when a heated kiss were initiated. She saw
Kohaku and she walked over to the young boy.

Sesshoumaru felt a small
tug on his sleeve and he turned his golden gaze towards the young miko and then
he smiled.

Kagome-san, if you ever talk to Kikyo again, tell her I am
thankful for her help, said Sesshoumaru.

You knew?

-

Yes, I could feel her presence when you fired off that last
arrow, said the lord.

If she comes, I will tell her Sesshoumaru-sama, said Kagome
and bowed.
Sesshoumaru nodded and
walked over to his dragon where Kagura and Kohaku were hugging each other.

Sesshoumaru-sama� thank you, said Kagura and bowed to the
demon lord.

We all had a part in destroying him, said Sesshoumaru and put
a hand on her shoulder and then he looked at Kohaku. � You did well young
taijya. Your sister must be very proud of you.
Kohaku blushed and looked
away to where his sister stood. She was wrapped inside Inuyasha�s arms, and it
was not just a friendly hug either. �I wish you well my sister, you deserve
happiness�� thought the young man and followed the group away from the
battle field, leaving Inuyasha and Sango behind.

Inuyasha could not keep
his hand from travelling all over Sango�s body; he wanted to make sure that she
was ok. He cradled her inside his arms, pulling her inhumanly close, sniffing
her, kissing her.

Gods Sango I love you so much, he breathed into her neck.

-

Inu-chan� I am ok, I am not hurt, said Sango, wanting to
ensure him that she was ok. She could feel his anxiety.

-

Come, let us get out of this stinky place and found someplace
more private, purred Inuyasha and received a small chuckle from his mate.
Something in her scent
made his heart pound faster and he wanted to tell her what had happened between
them. Even though he hid his pride behind a small smile, his soul was about to
burst into flames. She was expecting a pup, his pup, their child, the product of
their love.

He found the perfect
place to tell her about their pup. He landed next to a mountain, the
rhododendron was blooming and he nipped a light purple coloured flower and gave
it to Sango. She smiled and sniffed the flower.

What is this all about? asked Sango and felt his arms go
around her waist, she leaned back against his chest, loving the way his nose
nuzzled the mark he had put on her.

-

I have something to tell you and I hope you love it as much
as I do, said Inuyasha and nipped lightly at the mark.

What is it my love?

-

You are with pup, said Inuyasha and turned Sango around
inside his arms. He took the flower from her hand and put it behind her ear.

I am?? Are you sure? breathed Sango and felt her heart
flutter.

Yes, I can tell it by the way you smell right now.
Sango screamed and hugged
her mate tightly. She was with child, she was carrying Inuyasha�s child. The day
could not have been more perfect. She knew she was crying, but it was tears of
happiness and joy.

Mate�?

-

I am so happy Inuyasha, I love you, whispered Sango and
kissed him lovingly.

I love you too Sango-chan and I bet my brother will celebrate
this with a week long party, smiled Inuyasha. � I am beginning to think that my
big brother is one soft demon. He loves children� And I know that if he gets any
pups with a female they will be a very spoiled bunch.

Who could have guessed that about the demon lord of the
western lands? Sesshoumaru, the babysitter � do you think he would do that for
us? Baby sit I mean?

You can count on that my beloved mate, purred Inuyasha.
Sango giggled and felt
Inuyasha pick her up and settle down with his back against a rock. From now on
they could concentrate on being happy, nothing else. All thanks to a pair of
wandering hands�.
