13:� Silence Your Thoughts

�� Kagome�s mouth was wide with
shock.� She looked from the object in
her hand back to the being in front of her.�
He was touched only lightly by time, just as Koga was, but she had no
clue how to react to this.� Why would
even bother to get upset about her being around Koga.� He had never cared for her and had tried to kill her how many
times?� Wow� she really just did not
count things like that in her youth.

�� His whole physical appearance had
changed in a matter of less than a second.�
He had long silver hair and flashing golden eyes.

Standing in front of her was an older and
amusedly pissed Sesshomaru.� This did
not look good for her, and she knew it.

�� Kagome�s eyes once again flittered
down to the dog tags in her hand before going back to Sesshomaru�s face.

�Why�?� I don�t understand why you would even bother
to care if I am around or not.� I can
understand why you would become a doctor.�
You always loved having power over life and death.� Why would you care if Koga and I were
together?� You saved me a few times, and
you tried to kill a fair number of times as well.� What would the purpose be of your objections to me being with
Koga?� It doesn�t make any sense.� Oh my� you have been here all this
time!�� Kagome was muttering and raging
on while taking in the information and was paying less attention to what
Sesshomaru was doing.

�� She found herself forced into the
supply room that she was near and angry lips punishing her in a way that
silenced her entire wandering mind.

�� Sesshomaru never, ever explained
himself to anyone, and he had no intention to start now.� Especially since he didn�t think he
could.� He did not have an abundance of
romantic intention toward Kagome, but he did love how they worked
together.� When she first started at the
hospital, he was opposed although he held his personal feelings out of it.� He figured she would move on, and he would
not be bothered by her too much.�� Time
moved on, and he found that he loved being around her because she was an oddity
among the human race.�

�� She handled him and amused him with
her antics.� He knew what she was
thinking and feeling under her fa�ade.�
It was his own private joke.�

�� Now that she was showing an interest
in another being, a demon at that, he could not stand it one bit.� He had begun to look at her as his along the
way, and he rather liked that.� He was
beginning to understand what had the K9 variety of demons flocking towards
her.� His brother and that wolf were
prime examples.�

�� She naturally acted like she should
be part of a pack.� She pressed for a
certain amount of dominance and showed submission as she had to.

�� She also revered him as an alpha
without ever noticing it.� How many
times had he been teased with a glimpse of her baring her neck to him.� His height was an advantage for him in
this.� She gifted him arousing glances down
her shirt to view her ripe breasts that were surrounded by innocent cotton.

�� Kagome shivered and submitted before
she came to her senses to the kiss that had been roughly forced on her.

�� There was a metallic tang in her
mouth that was accompanied with a sensual pang in her lip, as he pressed
closer.� Her brain wasn�t given even a
second to process what was going on before it shut down.

�� His hands explored her sensitive
breasts and tantalized her hardened nipples that were pushing through her bra
and shirts.� Lighter than air, her body
floated up, and warm hands melted her clothes away to touch those rigid buds
that were begging for attention.

�� When the kiss finally ended, Kagome
was left to look up at Sesshomaru with large and uncertain eyes.

�� She could not determine what had
just happened, but she knew guiltily that she had not been fighting back.� She watched silently and helplessly as a
smirking Sesshomaru set her back down on her feet and turned around and walked
out of the supply closet without another sound.

�� She fixed her shirts and then
pressed her trembling fingers to her lips only to pull away and find that her
bottom lip was dripping with blood.� It
was pulled quickly into her mouth and sucked on as she quickly went to the
bathroom to fix up.

�� As Kagome looked at her injury in
the mirror, she was surprised to find that his fang had pierced her lip quite
deeply.� It took a bit, but she stemmed
the blood flow and calmed herself.

�Yup
Higurashi, that vacation is sounding better and better, but what are you going
to do now.� Were you really cheating on
your mate?� You didn�t ask or want to be
kissed, but you sure as hell weren�t stopping him.�� She continued berating herself before she lapsed into tears and
then snapped herself out of it.

�� What the hell?� This wasn�t her.� She didn�t cry like this, and she didn�t date.� She also never cheated on anybody before.

�� But, here she was.

�� Koga was riding around in the police
car with his partner who had finally returned to active duty.� They were excited in the silence to be back
to something that resembled normally and had talked about �Koga�s new woman.�

�I
swear that it is about time,� the man muttered in the passenger seat.�� I can�t tell you how many women have
admired you and never received the time of day.� The one that doesn�t seem to pay you more attention than anybody
else around you is the one you go after.�
She was a cute one though.� I
should get shot more often is only she could be the one to stitch me up every
time.� I could put up with that.�

�� Koga just laughed at him.� �Can�t do that now.� She is mine.� I even got lucky enough for her to say yes when I proposed.� Did I tell you that I knew her when she was
younger?� I had met her right before she
started high school.� She was adorable
then.� She has only gotten more
beautiful with time,� Kagome beamed as he talked about his new mate.� He had to be careful though because his
partner did not know that he was not human as he did look.

�� Work continued on in a boring haze
of the night.� For once, it was a slow
and dead night.

�� Kagome shook as she showered in the
nurse�s locker room, which had been patched and fixed somewhat.� It was doable but not a complete fix.

�� She continued to caress and suck on
her lower lip as that kiss haunted and controlled her thoughts.� There was hot water cascading down her body
as her hand used a cloth to scrub lower and lower.� Her body had never felt this alive until Koga had popped back into
her life.� She had only felt a fleeting
amount of physical excitement, and now she was working on an overload between
the two domineering men who had stepped into and taken complete control of her
life.

�� How could she work around that?� What should she do?

�� What could she do?� What would happen when Koga found out?

college.� Of course, I absolutely adored
the creative writing.� I started writing
fan fics because of it and to keep my skills from rusting up.� I substituted before I got my first
contract.� (teaching contract.)� I have got to start wondering now if you
have the ability to read my mind because your guesses are dead on.� I don�t know when or if Inu Yasha will be
pulled back in this story.� If he does,
then we will see from there.� I was
planning on bringing him because the conflict sounds like fun.
