Inuyasha ran into the castle, following the old scent of Naraku and his brother. Naraku had stolen him again... He was a fool. He should have been there to protect him! He knew how weak he was... he just never thought Naraku would be coming back him. Not after last time. And it was his fault... His fault Sessho-maru had been stolen... His fault about Inu-maru... His fault hte boy had starved to eath waiting for rescue. The memory was burned into his mind... He knew immediately that something was wrong when he appraoched Sessho's castle, when he smelled Naraku's stench in the air. It was old, though - weeks old. He'd left his friends behind and run inside, running to Sessho's room... and it was there he had found his son, where Sessho had hidden him from Naraku, obviously expecting Inuyasha to come and save him. He'd put off coming back, though... and Inu-maru was now little more than a bundle of bones inside the fire-rat material... He had never meant for any of this to happen. Now, he had to kill Naraku, take his brother back, avenge his son. If Naraku had hurt Sessho-maru... "Naraku!" He burst into the same room where he'd found Sessho before. He could smell Naraku inside from halfway down the corridor. If he'd hurt Sessho-maru... The evil hanyou looked up at smirked. He didn't see it, though, because his eyes were focused on what he'd been doing. Sessho-maru lay on the bed, his hair flared out around him, lying in a pool of his own blood. His skin was so pale it was almost as white as his hair once had been. There was a gaping hole in his chest, and a cut across his stomach, and there was something clenched in his hand... "I was able to save the child, as you see," Narkau said with a smirk. It was then that Inuyasha realized that Naraku was holding a baby, a miniature version of himself in every way. The baby's face was smeared with blood - Sessho-maru's blood, he was sure. "It appears your poor brother ripped his heart out, though..." "You monster..." "Me? I didn't do anything. I tried to stop him, in fact... Obviously, I failed." He didn't sound too torn up about it... in fact, he dipped a finger in Sessho-maru's blood and gave it to his son. "I did manage to keep his body fresh, though. The only thing our children can eat, after all, is their mother's blood..." "You bastard..." Inuyasha was whispering now, staring at Sessho-maru's body... He killed hismelf because he thought Inuyasha wouldn't come to rescue him... "Now, I don't really think that's caled for," Naraku said, as he stood up. Inuyasha never even noticed as Naraku's tentacles rose up and impaled him through the back. Naraku smiled down at his son as the baby giggled. "Yeah, you like that, don't you, Shinu?" he said, tickling him under the chin with a slim tentacle. "Don't worry - you'll see a lot more of it..." Absently, he fed him another fingerful of Sessho's blood. - The End. - Ha! Got you! You thought this was real, didn't you? Well, it ain't. DON'T KILL ME!!!!!!! THIS IS NOT REAL! I just wanted to put it up to see what you'd all do! ^_^ Wouldn't it be funny if I just really did end it like this, though? Yeah... I repeat, don't kill me! Wait for the real ending. There are two more chapters... be patient!
