Chapter 14 - One Plotting Miko

Kagome shifted between the two brothers, slowly opening her eyes. "Inuyasha?" she asked softly, unsure if the hanyou was awake. When he opened his eyes as well, she continued. "Are there any berries left?"

Inuyasha chuckled. "No, wench, you wiped them out after our bath last night."

The miko stuck out her bottom lip in a pout while making an adorable disappointed sound. "Can you get me the first aid kit? I want to take a pill."

The hanyou rose quickly and grabbed both the box and a bottle of water for her.

Sesshoumaru frowned from his place pressed to the miko's back. "You are still in pain?" he asked while allowing her to pull away and sit up.

"It's not terrible. I'm going to take one of the weaker meds now. I think Ibuprofen can handle it.” She flopped back onto the bed and snuggled back against the taiyoukai's chest. "I really wish there were still berries left."

Inuyasha rolled his eyes and sighed. "If you want berries so damn bad, I'll go get some," he said while quickly dressing.

"Thank you," the miko said sweetly, leaning up to accept his good-bye kiss. She felt as Sesshoumaru lowered the barrier to allow the hanyou out, and when it was once erected once more, she pulled away from the taiyoukai again and sat up. "There's something I need to talk to you about," she said in a conspiratorial tone. "I have a favor to ask."

The hanyou was surprised to see Sesshoumaru fully dressed, armor and swords included, when the barrier fell to allow him entrance. "What the fuck? Where are you going?" he asked.

"There is something I must attend to. I will return. Until then, our miko will create the protective barrier over the cave."

"Uh... Okay, but that doesn't answer my question."

Sesshoumaru smirked. "Enjoy yourself, little brother." With that said, the taiyoukai left the cave without another word. He wasn't necessarily thrilled about what would be happening in his absence, but he understood the miko's reasoning, and so he would do what she asked.

Inuyasha made his way into the bedchamber, still confused about his elder brother's departure. "Kagome?" he said, seeing her lying on her side flipping through one of her textbooks. "Where is Sesshoumaru going?"

The miko smiled at him. "He needs to let Rin and Jaken know he'll be gone for a while and to tell them to wait for him at the fortress so he knows they're safe. Did you get berries?"

He lifted up the large fabric sack he still held. He picked more berries than the miko could possibly eat, but she wanted them, and so he got them. A small part of him hoped that this way, he wouldn't have to leave her presence again, at least not for a while. "Yup, definitely got berries. Already cleaned and everything."

Kagome giggled as she took in the size of the obviously heavy bag. "I guess so. Could you put some in a bowl for me?"

The hanyou fought to keep from rolling his eyes as he did as she asked, filling a bowl with the ripe berries the miko obviously craved. He dumped the rest in the largest cooking pot he could find, and then headed back to the bedroom with the bowl, wondering if she would mind being a living platter once again. Her body was so very temping, and he simply couldn't get enough.

When he came in, he was surprised to see Kagome sitting on the edge of the bed. "Something wrong?" he asked. Her answer was to grab his clothing and tug him closer until he stood between her widely spread knees. She quickly divested him of his haori and undershirt, before setting to work on his hakama. Confused, Inuyasha caught her wrists gently. "Kagome, what's going on?"

It didn't make sense. He had demanded that Sesshoumaru not touch Kagome while he was gone collecting her bag and speaking to their companions, and he knew the taiyoukai had done nothing but hold her in his arms. He didn't understand this. She was acting as if she wanted what was located in his pants, but wouldn't Sesshoumaru expect the same conditions on his leaving as he had? Wouldn't the taiyoukai be pissed if they were to do something together without him?

"Does it really matter, Inuyasha?" Kagome asked, wriggling her wrists free of his careful grip. "Why would you ever want to stop me from taking off your pants?"

"Because Sesshoumaru's gone, and it just... it doesn't seem right."

The miko sighed and lay back on the bed, glaring at the ceiling. "Fine, come here, but take the pants off first." Inuyasha hesitantly obeyed and stretched out beside her, waiting for an explanation. "Inuyasha, I asked him to leave. I wanted some time, just the two of us."

The hanyou's heart beat faster in his chest at her words. She sent his brother away? What did that mean for their dual mating?! He turned worried eyes on her, and she sighed again.

"It's nothing bad, Inuyasha. Relax." She slowly began to run her fingertips along his bare chest and abdomen, slowly moving lower to where he, for once, wasn't aroused. He was far too concerned for that. "I decided that we needed time alone. You... I remember when I lost my virginity," she started.

"To Sesshoumaru," the hanyou grumbled.

"Yes, to Sesshoumaru. It was special, something I'll never forget, and I think it would have ruined it if someone had been there watching. You deserve that same kind of special time, without your brother being around to see everything."

Inuyasha's eyebrows pulled down in thought. "Wait, so you sent him away so you can fuck me?"

Kagome giggled softly. "You could say that."

Suddenly, the hanyou's mind was awash with worries. He had been hoping to get some pointers from Sesshoumaru before his first time. The last thing he wanted was to disappoint her in bed. He wanted to rock her world, and he couldn't do that as a naive, completely inexperienced virgin. It just wouldn't work. Now he was going to completely embarrass himself and ruin everything. If only he had known what was happening, he could have asked Sesshoumaru a few questions before he left!

The miko saw as his shoulders slumped, which confused her. "Do you not want to have sex with me, Inuyasha?" Kagome asked, her voice shaking with worries of her own.

"What?! No, of course I do! It's just... I don't have a fucking clue what I'm doing. I wish I could have talked to Sesshoumaru about it before he left."

Kagome snorted in amusement. "You don't need to ask him how to have sex. I'm pretty sure you have the general idea down."

"Yeah, but what if I'm terrible? I have no idea how to do this right." His tone clearly communicated his insecurities, and the miko sighed again.

"You don't need him to tell you anything. If having sex with you were exactly the same as having sex with him, what would be the point? I don't want him giving you tips. I want you to figure it out on your own, with me, together. And I can promise you that you won't be terrible. You just have to relax, and let your instincts guide you. You certainly figured out how to make me scream with your tongue pretty quickly, didn't you?" she asked with a slight blush. "Don't you want me?"

"Fuck yes, I want you. I just..."

Kagome cut him off. "I guess we could always wait until Sesshoumaru comes back so you can ask for pointers, but it might be a while."

"No," Inuyasha exclaimed. "I... I can do this." Really, what had he been thinking? The woman whose body he had ached for for so long was offering herself to him. Why in the hell would he hesitate for even a moment? He rolled closer to the miko and pressed his lips to hers.

Sesshoumaru was moving at a relaxed pace. He was in no rush, as the miko had asked him to stay away as long as he could manage. It had been very difficult to leave her there with the hanyou, knowing what she had planned. He trusted her though, so he was not worried that he would return to a mated pair, leaving him stuck on the outside. She loved him. He could see it in her eyes, and she never hesitated to tell him either. He just had to survive this time apart, and then he could get back to convincing her she really did want to have both he and Inuyasha as her mates. They could work it out, find a way to get along. They had to, because there was no other option.

The taiyoukai couldn't help but wonder what they were doing at that moment. Was Inuyasha thrusting inside that sweet, hot pussy of hers for the first time?
