Poor Jaken

Eggs!

Jaken felt sore, but oddly satisfied. He cuddled up to his new mate enjoying the warmth of their shared body heat, and the furs that Gamamaru had wrapped them in after their last session. The toad snored lightly as he hugged Jaken.

Jaken was content to return to sleep except for the nagging feeling in his bottom that the needed to go to the bathroom. The small demon was not certain he could even walk. Really it did not matter because he wasn't going anywhere until Gamamaru woke up and released him form his death grip.

"Gama-koi," Jaken blushed as he spoke so informally to his husband, but the Lord insisted (between bouts for love making) that he enjoyed hearing Jaken use the pet name, and shortening his name was so adorable. The toad was simply wild about the nickname.

Gamamaru mumbled and squeezed Jaken harder. His backside complained as he felt the faint tinge of cramps, and a dampness soaking into the furs from his backside. His eyes widened,
"Gamamaru! Wake up!" Jaken began struggling. The very short gestation period was complete and Jaken needed to get into the water or his eggs might parish.

"Huh?" Gamamaru stretched and Yawned, "What is it Lovely?"

"It's time! Get me into the swamp! Quickly!" Jaken snapped. His pupils were lined with red rings and he struggled to get out of Gamamaru's grasp.

Gamamaru sat up quickly without another word. He carried his mate out of the palace into the marshy pool just outside of his palatial cave. He set the naked Kappa into the tepid waters. Jaken shivered for a bit until he got used to the slight chill. Jaken felt pressure building in his backside. He submerged himself as instinct told him to. He squeezed his insides feeling his entrance being stretched to at least twice the size of Gamamaru's member. He felt his pain increase to a new level of excruciating as the first egg began it's decent. He didn't even notice his lover had entered the water behind him and was busy building a nest of viscose bubbles for their children to rest in until they matured enough to hatch. Gamamaru kept an eye on his mate while blowing bubbles. He saw the first egg peeking and stopped his work on the nest to assist his lover who looked to be in terrible pain.

Jaken pushed until he finally felt a popping sensation. He felt hands between his legs and he panicked and thrashed about until he saw his mate cradling the egg and swimming back over to the nest to place the egg. Jaken didn't have time to ponder on the sight of his lover caring for their egg because the next one was descending into place.

Jaken pushed it seemed slightly easier this time, he felt that perhaps this one was smaller. He delivered it quickly, but Something inside of him told him to devour the egg.

"This one's not healthy," A voice he was not accustomed to buzzed in his ear, "Do not waste it! Devour it! There are others that will need you to be strong for them. Eat it!" The command left his ears ringing. He felt the next one coming. He didn't want to, he fought the urge, but his yoki decided to take over. His master was not raised properly to know that this was a natural part of the process. It took over and Jaken was forced to watch as his body consumed one of his children. "It was necessary," The voice spoke, "Now do you want me to continue or are you ready to bring another new life into the world."

Jaken whimpered but shook his head. He wanted to be in control he knew it was better and safer for his offspring. The red in his eyes faded until only his pupils were surrounded by red once again.

Jaken pushed and he felt his mate with him once more. He looked into Gamamaru's eyes and saw the sadness reflected in the toad's eyes. He had seen, but seemed to understand. Jaken let him take away the egg sensing that that one was healthy. The next one came as the first and third with much pain, but it was also healthy. Jaken felt he fifth one was not going to make it. He was greatly saddened when he realized he must devour it also. He did so quickly not liking that the taste did not bother him. He felt something larger forcing itself down his passage. He pushed and a translucent sack was delivered. Gamamaru took it from his mate and devoured it quickly. He smiled wanly at his mate. Their first clutch was delivered and three out of five was not bad at all. Jaken swam over to the new nest and admired his lover's handy work. The eggs were encased in bubbles that no ordinary demon could rupture. They would only burst when the children inside were ready to swim freely in the waters. Jaken had done very well for his first birthing and Gamamaru was very proud of his little koi. Jaken felt all of his energy drained. His eyes closed and he began to sink. Alarmed by the sudden unconciousness of his mate, Gamamaru grabbed his arm and swam for the surface. He breeched the water and gulped for air hungrily. The eggs would not need to be tended to for a couple of hours. He brought Jaken out of the water and carried him to their bed. The toad watched as Jaken curled up nto a little ball and shivered. He was tired, and very, very sore. Gamamaru observed the even rise and fall of Jaken's chest and smiled. He knew his love would be fine. "You sleep Lovely. I will tend to the eggs today," Gamamaru left Jaken to sleep. Jaken smiled he felt a warmth in his heart he had never before as he dreamed of his lord husband, and their little family.
