"You saying you want to start a family tonight?"
"Yes"
"Fine with me" Inuyasha says "But first we got to find something to do with Shippo"
"Let's send him to your brothers"
"Sounds like a good idea"

Chapter 16: Full Moon
Inuyasha and Kagome had managed to convince Shippo to go to Sesshamoru's castle pretty easily; in fact they were wondering if the young fox demon knew more than he pretended. They also convinced Miroku and Sango to keep watch that evening so that they'd have the whole night to themselves. Inuyasha pounced on Kagome once they got into their hut. "Inuyasha!" Kagome screamed and giggled not prepared for him to be this wild.
"Sorry," Inuyasha mumbled. "I think it's something about the full moon that makes me want you more"
"Probably the fact the full moon brings you closer to full demon, which is the reason that a child conceived tonight it'll be half-demon, like you"
"That's probably it," Inuyasha says. "So we going to go through with this?"
"Yes," Kagome answers. "Just let me get undressed, last thing I need is another shredded bra"
"Fine!" Inuyasha sits and waits as Kagome undresses, then he proceeds to undress and they make love. After they are done they slip into the sleeping bag and go to sleep.
The next morning they are awoken when Sesshamoru comes barging into their tent. "Inuyasha we need to talk"
"Sesshamoru!" Kagome screams slipping deeper into the sleeping bag
"Get the fuck out of here!" Inuyasha screams
"I didn't realize you and your mate were occupied," Sesshamoru says
"We're not, currently, just let us get dressed," Inuyasha says
"Fine!" Sesshamoru goes outside, and Inuyasha and Kagome get up and get dressed. They meet Sesshamoru outside their hut.
"What's this about Sesshamoru?" Inuyasha asks "I figured you'd be mad if I killed the fox cub with out telling you why first" Sesshamoru answers
"You are not to harm one hair on Shippo's head!" Kagome yells
"Inuyasha, control your mate" Sesshamoru says
"Not even going to try and do that," Inuyasha says before sniffing at the air "Wait! That's Kagura's scent, and yours"
"Yes, I've taken Kagura as my mate, she was an obvious choice"
"Back to the matter at hand" Kagome says, "Why do you want to kill Shippo?"
"He claimed a mate"
"He's much too young to do such a thing!" Inuyasha exclaims
"Oh, no!" Sesshamoru says "Trust me, you'll smell the intertwined scents on him"
"Who could he have claimed, being so young?" Kagome asks
"Rin" Sesshamoru answers
"The human girl you always keep around?" Inuyasha asks
"Yes" Sesshamoru answers
"Wait, those two sleep curled up beside each other when they're together," Kagome says "Wouldn't their scents be intertwined then?"
"Yeah" Inuyasha says
"The day you left with Kagura, Rin and Kanna. I noticed Shippo had Rin's scent all over him"
"Well I have other proof," Sesshamoru says
"What kind of proof?" Kagome asks
~Flashback~
Early in the morning, Sesshamoru's castle. Sesshamoru sits watching the sun rise. "Jaken"
"Yes, Lord Sesshamoru?" Jaken asks
"Go awaken Rin and the cub for breakfast"
"Where is that cub?"
"I imagine he slept in Rin's room, she really does have a fondness for the cub"
"Yes, my Lord" Jaken goes to awaken them, a few minutes later Jaken comes running into the room. "Lord Sesshamoru! Lord Sesshamoru!"
"What is it, Jaken?"
"Rin and the cub..." Jaken trails off
"What about Rin, Jaken?"
"She and the cub have..." Jaken looks at Sesshamoru frightened to finish the sentence "Just go see for yourself"
"Fine" Sesshamoru goes to Rin's room, opens the door and enters only to find Rin and Shippo snuggled together on the bed. Nothing too unusual considering that he found them snuggled together once before, but the unusual thing was that Rin was in the undergarments that Kagome had brought back from the future for her, and nothing else. Rin's kimono lay on the floor close to her bed. While Shippo had discarded all of his clothing, in fact Shippo's clothing was scattered all across the room.
~End Flashback~
"And that's how I found them" Sesshamoru says describing the scene.
"Shippo would never do such a thing," Kagome says
"Don't say never, you know he will some day" Inuyasha says "I just don't believe that he and Rin would've done such a thing at such a young age"
"I have an easy solution," Kagome says
"What is it?" Sesshamoru asks
"We just ask them if they mated or not" Kagome answers "Shippo may not even know what mating really is, he is pretty young"
"Fine, let's see what hay have to say for themselves" Sesshamoru growls
Author's Note: Did Shippo really mate with Rin? You think I'm just going to tell you? That's a laugh. You're going to have to wait for next time to find out.
