Lucian went into the room he left Lycane in. Lycane was completely miserable and pissed. He had been in this barrier for over a week and it was like everyone forgot about him. He hadn’t eaten or drank, but a demon could go without food or water for a month and be fine.
Tsukiya was sobbing for her mate not even believing their dear Mother forgot about him. Megan had not forgotten, but thought this was a fitting punishment for her son since nothing else had worked to straighten his ass out.
Megan was put in bed and told not to go anywhere as Sesshoumaru left Inuyasha with Megan insuring she followed doctor’s orders. Sesshoumaru went with Lucian to confront Lycane who was still a mess wearing the same clothes that he had been in for a week. He needed a damn shower and wanted to go home after he beat the fuck out of Lucian.
“Are you going to be civil boy or am I going to keep you in the barrier for another week?”
Lucian asked since he had no time for games.
Lycane frowned since he was hungry, pissed, tired, and really did not understand why he was forgotten. Did no one give a shit about him? Did Mom even care?
“I can be civil. Just don’t expect me to be happy about this and personally I want to kick your ass for this shit.’
“Sesshoumaru I can’t believe you forgot about me let alone my Mom. Doesn’t anyone give a shit about me? You all just left me here to rot!”
Lycane said as tears threatened.
“Of course we care Jimmy. We just don’t know how to get it through your thick skull that you can’t keep going on as you have. You gave Lucian a blow job and you don’t even know him. What if I had been there with you? Would you have blown me off like you did Raiden for some man you did not know you wanted to impress?’
“Your name will always be Jimmy to me Lycane. You are a child to me. I will never love you like I love my mates. What we shared was special, but it is over now. I can’t keep hurting your Mom and Inuyasha like I have. We are both hurting them.’
“I think about you all the time, but there comes a time when I have to let go. I can’t be your lover anymore. I also can’t be manipulated by you.’
“I was going to talk to you about this, but we have been busy. Your Mom was hurt. Lucian did not mean to hurt her, but he did. She wanted to talk to you also, but she can’t right now.”
Sesshoumaru said and Lycane growled.
“What the fuck did you do to my Mom?! Why is she hurt?!”
Lycane roared as he was pissed.
“I tried to push her back and accidently used too much power since I was angry with both your Mother and Inuyasha. I don’t accept insubordination well and they were being cruel to their Alpha. Sesshoumaru allows this for some odd reason and if he does not take care of the problem I must. I never meant to hurt either of them. I was merely going to show them their place. We battled and I won, but it doesn’t stop your Mother or Inuyasha from being a problem. An Alpha’s word is law to his mates, family, and people.’
“Megan needs to know her place even if she is a female Alpha. A female is to act properly and listen to their mates. Even my goddess mate Celebrian obeyed me. However being that she is a celestial being she had to unmate with me since gods and goddesses have other duties that are above those of living flesh beings. I will always love Celebrian. She was my mate for thousands of years.’
“I did once try to end my long existence, but Celebrian gave me god powers and I cannot be killed even by a god now. I can kill though I do not wish to do so anymore. I want the respect of my people.’
“I do not know any of you well save your Grandfathers. Arashi, young Lucian, and Balachandra the three troublemakers. To me they are like my own children. In fact young Lucian is my son, my youngest son and one of the few survivors of the Alpha trials.’
“I killed many of my own children to find the perfect Alpha. Young Lucian, your Grandfather was the first true almost perfect Alpha. I trained him, molded him, and made him into a fine ruler. My son has become rather embarrassing over the years. He is ancient and acts insane although I know for a fact he is not.’
“My son never much was for wearing clothing. Young Lucian always preferred to be naked, drinking spirits, and talking to the spirit realm. His own Mother Celebrian thought our son was losing his mind.’
“I’ve had to come back several times to initiate my law to insure my son is not fucking up. He, Balachandra, and Arashi try my patience. They think they can get rid of me. I don’t plan on going away for a long time this time. I will insure all my Alphas know their place and do not forget the laws. Obviously no one expected me to be around this time. I always check on things since young Alphas like yourself need guidance and to not forget the traditions of the past that are just as important as new traditions.’
“I will be your trainer Lycane. I will also train Sesshoumaru who is damn near close to being a perfect Alpha. The rules are simple. You do not question me when I give you an order. You simply do it. If you fail I will reprimand you and it won’t be something you will like.’
“Second rule is you listen to all I have to teach you. I care not if you write it all down to remember, but you will listen and shut your mouth unless asked a direct question. If you do not know the answer I will know you were not listening thus you will be lectured only one more time. If you fail the second time you will be punished and it will be harsh.’
“Third if I tell you to improve in specific areas I mean what I say. I will show you how to battle and win. I have already seen flaws in Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha’s techniques. I plan on training them both.’
“I am a Master at all weapons both natural to demons and supernatural. By just looking at a weapon or a demon I can determine how they fight and what powers they possess. I see things, future things before they happen. It is part of my god powers. I have never been beaten in battle and I don’t plan on being defeated now. I can read minds as well, but that is nothing compared to my abilities. You want to learn from me.’
“Also if I tell you not to do something do not do it. I will embarrass you if you do. I have no qualms about humiliating you in front of others. I will not be soft on you just because you are a child and my Great Grandson.’
“I won’t kill you, but I will make you wish I had if you disappoint me Lycane. I am warning you if you fight me in all of this you will lose. I will hurt you and if you think being in a barrier for a week is bad try having every bone broken in your body for a few days where you are helpless and cannot move. I have been lenient so far.”
Lucian said as he waited for Lycane to calm down.
“I want to see my Mom.”
Lycane said as the barrier dissipated.
“You shall have your wish.”
Lucian said as he led Lycane to Megan with Sesshoumaru following.
Megan was pouting on the bed since she wasn’t even tired and no one would let her get up. Hojo was an ass and so were her mates.
“Mom! Are you ok? What did this jerk do to you?”
Lycane said as he rushed to his Mom’s side.
“Jimmy I am fine. Lucian and my mates are in deep shit, but I am fine. My ribs just hurt a bit on the left side. Hojo is going to get it too since I am going to strangle that jerk for making me stay in bed all day. I’m not even tired.”
Megan said pouting and grumbling that this was asinine.
“Mom………..”
Lycane started knowing that more happened then just her ribs getting hurt.
“Don’t worry about it Jimmy. I am going to punish them so it is all good. When I get up from this bed I am going to punch them all in the face for holding me down and letting pervert Hojo mess with me.’
“You need to go shower, change into something clean, and get some food as well as water in you. Also if you mess up with my Sesshoumaru again I will bare your but on television and spank you plus tell everyone about the pickle juice incident.”
Megan said and Lycane went white.
“Come on Mom don’t do that! Are you trying to destroy my rep?”
Lycane said and Megan smiled wickedly.
“I can and will do it. So behave.”
Megan said and Lycane plopped down on the bed frowning.
“Mom, can I stay here with you for a while?”
Lycane asked and Megan smiled.
“After you take a shower, eat, drink, and change your clothes then yes. I’m sorry sweetheart but you stink.”
Megan said and Lycane nodded as he kissed his Mom’s cheek.
Lycane left the room to go do what he was told. He missed his Mom when it was just them and no one else. He used to tell Mom everything, but they drifted apart when he moved away. Megan loved all her children, but especially her precious son. He was everything to her and she took care of him by herself. They were even closer than he was with his Father.
“Lucian, Sesshoumaru, and Inuyasha. When my son returns I want all of you to leave the room. I want time alone with my son. Tell Tsukiya that he will be busy for a little while so I will see her too later.”
Megan said and the three men nodded.
“Megan dear, we need to talk.”
Lucian said and Megan frowned at him.
“We did talk and you know I am pissed at you right now. I don’t know if I can be civil with you at this moment. Alistair struck me once in anger and I swore that would never happen to me again. There is a difference between the games Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha play with me and striking someone in anger. I’ve been pushed around my whole life by men and the only one who knows better than to tell me what to do or push me around is my son. Lycane is my son, my most precious boy. I raised Lycane most of his life without a man to help me. I provided for my son, gave him a home, worked for him, and taught him most of the good things he knows.’
“I join this family and my son becomes someone I did not raise. I raised my son to be better than he is.’
“All this training you are doing to him and his Father did to him has screwed him up. He once was a gentle boy, not fighting not hurting people. I am disappointed in myself and my mates for letting things go this far with my children especially Jimmy. All we had was each other.’
“I let go of much of my human side, but like with Inuyasha the human side gave us strong morals and guided us to be better people.’
“Sesshoumaru almost killed my puppy. I love dogs, not just demon dogs but dogs as pets. Jimmy and I had both cats and dogs. We loved them. They made our lives happy. Our dog has to live outside and I hate that. We had indoor dogs. They slept with us, cuddled on the couch with us, sat at our feet wagging their tails. Dogs love unconditionally and I want my puppy with me. I want to be happy again.’
“Now you want to change me like everyone else. There is so little of the real me left I don’t want to lose it. Maybe that is why Celebrian left you. She couldn’t ever be herself and maybe she was miserable.’
“You can’t force people to change unless they want to. I am done changing for people. You can talk to me until your face turns blue. I don’t care anymore. I am done being pushed around and told to change my ways. I am an American, born and raised to stand up for what I think is right. We had rights in my country and freedoms. We could be who we wanted without fear as long as we did not tread on the rights of others. We had every culture, every religion, and yes sometimes people sucked trying to take those rights away. Every American fought tooth and nail for their freedom. I joined the military to fight for rights of my country and serve as a patriot of that beautiful red white and blue flag.’
“Demon law says I can’t be me and that what I fought for was for nothing. Well fuck that. I’m still fighting for rights and especially ones for my son, the females of my family who are tread on by old fashioned ideals, and for my children as well as for every demon out there. Freedom is not a joke to me so do not tread on me. You won’t like the results because I will die fighting for it.”
Megan said as she was done with arguing with her mates and with Lucian. Enough was enough and Megan had been pushed too far.
“Megan please calm down. You knew that there would be changes when you mated with me and Inuyasha.”
Sesshoumaru said as he knew Megan was an independent American woman and that this life was exceedingly hard for her.
“Actually I agree with Megan Sesshoumaru. I am also sick of being pushed around. Just because I am your beta doesn’t mean I don’t want my freedom. We’ve both been pushed around by you and by this old fart. We love you Sess, but enough is enough. Demon law needs to change Sesshoumaru especially Lucian’s fucking law. How many more children are we going to fuck up? Jimmy, Tsukiya, and the other kids deserve better. All this Alpha control bullshit is getting old. Jimmy isn’t a good example to the pack and part of that is your fault.’
“We don’t spend time raising our kids like we did with Tsukiya. We left it all on nannies and caretakers. Most of our kids are grown and gone. Those we keep tabs on like Jimmy, Tsukiya, Raiden, Ronin, Luna, and Lycos haven’t had a real chance to live a life without us on their asses about shit. You micromanage your family. I could care less if you do this shit to people at work, but here at home they deserve to have a little freedom to be themselves, make mistakes, and learn from them.’
“You never raised me you basically beat me most of the time to near death and scared the shit out of me on purpose. I had to learn on my own most of the time Sess. Not from you, but from elders like a useless flea demon named Miyoga and a senile crazy bastard named Totosai. Totosai made more sense and he was awesome, but he is long gone now. You threatened to kill Totosai and everyone else. All I learned most of the time from you was pain, humiliation, and embarrassment. You are not a perfect Alpha, you are an asshole.’
“I may love you, but some things gotta change. I am bringing Megan her puppy so he can be in here with us. I want our mate happy, I want to be happy. I may swing my sword like a battering ram, but what I do gets results. My way of fighting works for me and you have felt my blade cut into you more than once Sesshoumaru so you ain’t the best sword fighter in the world. You want to train with Lucian to get better that is your business. This ain’t the old days anymore. You both need to grow up and accept change happens.”
Inuyasha said as he left the room to go get Mojo. Sesshoumaru frowned and sighed.
“I will talk to Inuyasha. Right now my mates are pissed because you hurt Megan. I am also pissed at you Lucian. Inuyasha is right, I am not a perfect Alpha. I made many mistakes I am still learning from. However because we are demons certain laws still have to stay in place. We all have too much power not to control certain things.’
“I will train with you since I do want to learn, but do not think I will allow you to hurt my son. Lycane is special to me and my mates. He was raised human like his Mother and even in my whipping of him I was always in control and did no more than what I have done with Inuyasha. I was much crueler to Inuyasha than I was to anyone in my life. Leave Inuyasha alone unless he asks you to train him. He has been through enough in his long life.”
Sesshoumaru said to Lucian who frowned at this. Did he want Inuyasha not to get stronger? The pup had so much potential just as Sesshoumaru did. Together with training they would be almost as powerful as his son, Arashi, and Balachandra.
“Are you certain he does not need my assistance? The boy is truly a powerhouse and to be honest I am impressed with his strength. He did more damage to me than has been done since I trained young Lucian. I do beseech you if he does not train with me have him at least train with my son, Arashi, and Balachandra. He has such potential for greatness. I dare say with his fangs being that they are like my own he could very well even best you even after I train you. The boy is strong and other than his mouth and temper he will be an exceptional ruler over the hanyous and humans of the world.”
Lucian said since it would be such a waste to let Inuyasha not train with the best.
“He already bested me a few times. The boy doesn’t know the word quit even when he is ahead. Inuyasha is too impulsive and too quick to anger to be taken too seriously plus his mood swings when he is pregnant make him impossible to take seriously.’
“I give him responsibilities and keep him fairly busy. I also give Megan responsibilities to keep them from being bored. Megan goes to work with me and Inuyasha to deal with the board members and the court process.’
“Megan doesn’t care too much for my methods, but they do work. Inuyasha is used to it and sometimes also dispatches those who are a problem. We don’t have wars like in the past and everything is fairly peaceful. Besides the Alpha laws I have three simple rules. Stay out of my way, don’t speak to me unless it is important and be brief about it, and my word is law. I do have a sense of humor despite what some people think about me, but I do have limits to and certain things I find less than amusing.’
“Now I suggest for your benefit and to help you train in this era you go to the computer and look up women’s rights. Also look up everything there is to know about Americans so that you will understand Megan. It took me a while to understand certain things about my female and right now I need to talk to her alone to set some things straight.’
“One thing I do not tolerate is disrespecting ones elders, but I also believe respect is earned not given. Most of the elders are insane crazy people and I do not like them influencing anyone. It is worse than having children.’
“Megan, Inuyasha, and the children love their elders very much. But it is mainly because they know them or their parents talked about them. Family is everything to the Tashios. However I do not follow all their ways, my path was made for me by my own hand. Father died and I was on my own trying to rule a Kingdom with little help from anyone. All the helpful advice and training was not there for me.’
“I also need to speak with Alistair as I had no idea he struck Megan also in anger. Such things are despicable. I do not find humor in harming females although I will defend myself and sometimes kill them. I do not make their deaths painful. I prefer protecting females and caring for them. Human females are especially fragile and I am very careful with them.’
“Now please Lucian go so I can talk to Megan for a while alone. I promise you will get your chance to speak with her, but it needs to wait until she has settled down.”
Sesshoumaru said as Lucian sighed and left to go find out more about his female.
“Megan you need to understand that I am not your enemy and neither is the whole male population. You also need to show some restraint. Lucian is an elder and new to this era. You also are no longer American. You are now in Japan and you are also a demon. There are rules and like it or not you gave up your human life to be a demon with us. You also need to learn your place. I’ve tried to explain this until I am blue in the face but what you do and say matters. It reflects badly on me when you disrespect me in front of Lucian and the other elders.’
“You can take away sex, you can take away many things, but it is not only us who suffer and many males feel you are being a true bitch and not in a good way.’
“You don’t want males pissed off and giving up on females. You need to be somewhat dependent on me. I provide you shelter now, food, love, and money to spend on yourself. I give you freedoms many females do not have. I do not demand a lot from you. However your and Inuyasha’s attitudes with me lately are not acceptable. Not to demons, not to many humans, and not to the elders. I told you I was old fashioned and I believe in many things traditional to my heritage. Men provide and care for the family. Women do not work, they care for the home, the children, and their husbands.’
“I let you go to school, I let you work a bit, and give you more freedoms than even my own Mother had. I do understand you, but you must start showing some restraint. You also need to understand me and my place in this world. Demons are too powerful and live too long to be left on their own.’
“Your leaving me and Inuyasha on your own is not acceptable. Not even for a human marriage. Wives and husbands do things together. I will let you go shopping if you wish, but you must have one of the males go with you. It is for your protection. I care not if it is not me or Inuyasha, but you must take someone with you be it Lycane even. You are my wife and thus a target for any enemies I may have. It frightens both me and Inuyasha to have you off on your own.’
“Now I am also pissed at Lucian for harming you and yes I battled him for you. Inuyasha and I tried to destroy him. We cannot. Lucian is dangerous and until I find a way to get rid of him I want you to be very careful around him. Do not piss him off. Try and listen to him and be patient with him. We will humor him until we come up with a way to get him to unmate us and send him back where he came from.’
“I know I failed to explain his law to you and it is partially my fault we are in this mess. Right now he is being cordial and calm, but if you keep this up that will not last and we will have a problem.’
“Your puppy can be with you for a little while, but the dog belongs outside. It has a fenced yard, a dog house, and toys for it. It is being fed the best dog food and I even had a shelter built for it for wintertime so he won’t get cold. You can visit him when you are well.’
“I do love you Megan, I just need you to love me and trust me enough to do what is right for us.”
Sesshoumaru said as he sat on the bed running his fingers through Megan’s hair.
“Fine, I will try to be nice to the old fart and I will attempt to not torment all the males. I will also try my best to be fair with you, but I want you to quit fucking around with my son and fucking him up. If Lucian fucks with my kid I will find a way to hurt him I swear it to you.’
“I love you too, but if you mess up again with my son I will leave your ass, take all the kids with me and never look back again.”
Megan said and Sesshoumaru understood.
Inuyasha came in the room with the wiggling little puppy who was licking him to death.
“Here you go Megan. As promised. Does it make you happy?”
Inuyasha said as he set the pup on the bed as the little wiggling thing went crazy licking her and running around jumping on and off the bed.
“Yes this makes me very happy Inuyasha.”
Megan said as she gave the puppy lots of loving and smiled.
“Inuyasha I need to talk to you too.”
Sesshoumaru said as he explained things to Inuyasha and although Inuyasha tried to argue about it he ended up like Megan bending a little.
Soon Lycane returned and as asked Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha left the room so that Megan would have some time alone with her son. Lycane laid next to his Mom with his head on her shoulder. He was dressed much better than before and Megan had to admit she liked his hair long.

“Jimmy I want you to stop going so crazy and stick within your matings. I don’t exactly like that you are mated to so many of your siblings, but you need to settle down. You are an adult now and I need you to act like one.’
“This fooling around with your elders needs to end. If you keep up this behavior and I find out that the Elders are messing you up I will take you, your siblings, my grandchildren and we will leave this place forever living normal human lives in America.’
“I am tired of seeing you getting in trouble and fighting. Your Father pisses me off too. I don’t approve of Alistair’s influence on you.’
“I am the one who took care of you, I am the one who raised you most of your life. I love you and I want you to be the boy I raised. I fucked you up too and I am sorry for that. I messed up by mating and marrying these demons.’
“I may have just Inuyasha come with me, but if he starts to fuck you up I will leave him too. This is not the life I wanted for you. I wanted you to be something you wanted to be and all this demon Alpha shit is not it.’
“We will humor Lucian, but if he lays one harmful hand on you I will destroy him. I am going to find out how to contact Celebrian. She made him according to the demon history and she can take him back to wherever the hell he came from.’
“I know you love your Father and everyone here, but I do know what is best for you. I gave you life, I held you within my body for nine months and fought with your Father to keep you since he did not want children. I will not give you up and I will fight for you up to my last breath.’
“You know I would do anything for my children especially you sweet pea.”
Megan said as she kissed Lycane on the temple.
“Mom I like being an Alpha. I like this demon life, I just don’t want anyone hurting you or forgetting about me. I like my job and for once I know I am strong enough to defend myself against people.’
“I will behave with my mates and stuff, but I want to be a demon not a human. I don’t want to live a human life.’
“I know Dad was an asshole, but he was also my hero. I don’t want to lose Dad or our family. I know we went crazy for a while, but I promise I will behave. Just don’t take us away from our family.”
Lycane said as he was near tears. He did not want to lose his Dad or his family and knew his Mom was serious about moving them away.
“Fine, but I expect you to keep your word Jimmy. If you fail this time I will take you and the rest of the children with me. No more fucking around.”
Megan said as she expected Lycane to behave his damn self. She did not raise a hooligan male slut and that was what Lycane had become.
