A/N: Here is the final chapter, I hope you all enjoy.

Chapter 15

Inuyasha looked down at the beautiful woman sleeping cuddled
against his chest.� Emerald had fallen
asleep while watching the movie and he really didn�t want to move her.� The movie had been over for quite a while now
and still he hadn�t moved.� It felt so
right having her cuddled up to him.� He
looked up at the clock and saw that it was already after two in the morning, so
with a sigh he slowly started to move her to carry her up to her room.� Just as he stood she stirred a little.
�Where are we going?� she asked groggily looking up at him.
�It�s late.� I�m taking
you to the guest room,� he replied as he started up the stairs.
�No,� she said grabbing onto his shirt tightly.
�No?� he asked looking down at her, wondering what she was
talking about.
�I want to go with you.�
You�re so comfy and it feels right.�
I feel safe in your arms,� she explained snuggling into his chest and
looking up at him shyly.
�Are you sure?� he asked not wanting to push her.
�Yes, please Inu.�
He smiled and pulled her body closer to his, �Ok if you�re
sure.�
He passed by the guest room and took her to his room.� When he arrived he put her on the bed and
went to his bathroom to change into his night pants.� When he walked back out of the bathroom he
was pleasantly surprised to see Emerald wearing nothing but one of his t shirts
and her panties.� She smiled shyly at him
and pulled the covers back on the bed.�
She lay down and patted the mattress next to her.� He had to shake his head to push away all the
hentai thoughts.�
He smiled and went over to the bed.� Once he lay down he
felt his heart rate increase as she snuggled up to him.� She kissed him on the cheek and lay her head
down on his chest.� He reached over and
turned the light off before letting his arms go around her pulling her closer
to him.� Emerald smiled into his chest
when she felt his arms surround her.� She
had never felt so safe and cared for.
Inuyasha felt her relax in his embrace and smiled as a warm
feeling spread through him.� He leaned
down and took a sniff of her scent letting it lull him.� Within minutes her breathing had evened out
and he followed her into sleep not too long after.� For the first time in his life he slept
through the night without any worry.�
Emerald also slept more peacefully than she had in years.� Inuyasha�s scent surrounded her and comforted
her more than she thought possible.
Inuyasha was woken up the next morning by a very excited
Shippo running into the room and pouncing on him.� Inuyasha was awake immediately shocked at how
deeply he had slept.� Shippo started to
chatter away excitedly but stopped when he noticed the woman moving next to his
dad.� He smiled and crawled over to her.
�Hi, I�m Shippo.� Are
you Inuyasha�s girlfriend?� Are you going
to be my mommy?�
Inuyasha was about to grab him and lecture him, but the sound
of Emerald laughing stopped him.
She picked up Shippo and hugged him, �You�re certainly
inquisitive aren�t you?� she asked.
Shippo smiled and started asking more questions.� Emerald looked at Inuyasha and smiled as she
hugged Shippo to her chest.
�Well Inuyasha?� What
do you think?� she asked looking at him.
�About what?�
�Do you feel the same tug I do?� The tug of a soul mate?� she asked looking
shyly up at him.
�Yes, I definitely do,� he replied smiling at her.
�So am I going to be Shippo�s new
mommy?�
�Do you want to?� Inuyasha asked feeling his breath catch in
his throat.
She leaned over and kissed him, �I would love to.� You�re the only one I have ever felt this way
for.� I feel so safe in your arms and it
just seems so right.�
�I agree completely,� Inuyasha said letting his breath out
and smiling at the woman beside him.
�So I can call you mommy?� Shippo asked excited.
�If you want to sweetie.�
Shippo smiled brightly and hugged her before springing from
the bed to go tell Rin the news.� As soon
as the door shut behind him Inuyasha grabbed Emerald and pulled her into his
arms.� Before she could say anything he
leaned down and kissed her with all the love and passion he had.� At first she tensed but within a couple of
seconds she relaxed and opened her mouth to him to let him explore.� Her taste was exquisite and his tongue roamed
her whole mouth until he had to pull back so they could both catch their
breath.
�You have no idea how happy you just made me,� Inuyasha
whispered huskily into her ear.
�If it even comes close to how happy I feel then you must be
in heaven,� she whispered back.
He smiled back at her and leaned to capture her lips again.
XXXXXX
Sesshomaru and Kagome were both woken up by two excited
children running into their room and pouncing on the bed.� Sesshomaru heard Kagome hiss in pain at the
impact and quickly grabbed both of the children up before they could hurt her
further.� He sat up in the bed holding
them both in his lap telling them to calm down because Kagome was hurting.� After they settled down he finally released
them and they moved to the foot of the bed.�
Sesshomaru helped Kagome sit up propping pillows behind her.� As soon as they were both comfortable he
turned back to the children.
�Ok so what is the big news?� he asked smiling at the two.
�I�m gonna get a new mommy too,�
Shippo said excitedly, �she was in Inuyasha�s room and they said that she will
be my mommy.�
Kagome was a little shocked that her friend was moving so
fast especially after their talk last night.�
Emerald had seemed scared to let herself love
again.
�Well that�s great Shippo,� she said smiling at the young
kit.
Sesshomaru could sense her unease and he could guess the
cause of it.� He had heard their
conversation last night.� He gently put
an arm around her as the kids left the room.
�Don�t worry.� They are
both demons of course they will move fast in their relationship.� Besides they are soul mates therefore they
will never hurt one another,� he said reassuringly leaning over to kiss her.
�You�re right, but she�s like a sister to me.� I just worry about her that�s all.�
�I know,� he said kissing her forehead, �why don�t you rest,
I know you�re sore.� You can�t hide it
from me.�
�You�re too good at reading me,� she said smiling as she lay
back down.
�I will go make the children breakfast.�
Sesshomaru got up and started getting dressed.� Kagome couldn�t help but watch him.� Her mate was so perfect, his muscles
perfectly chiseled, but lean.� He was
like a god.� He turned to her and smirked
when she looked away quickly and blushed.�
He walked over to the bed.
�You don�t have to be so shy mate, although I love that
beautiful blush,� he said leaning over her.
�You don�t have to rub it in my face, just because you�re
perfect.� I know I�m far from perfect,�
she said pouting.
He smiled, �You are perfect.�
In my eyes you are the most beautiful creature to walk the earth, you
are my angel.�
Kagome blushed even more, �that�s sweet, but I highly doubt
that I am that beautiful.�
�You are, and don�t ever think any differently,� he said
crooking a finger under her chin and raising her face.
As soon as their eyes met he smiled and leaned in to kiss her
passionately.
2 Months
Later
Sesshomaru stood in the garden next to his
brother watching the back door anxiously.
�Jeez, Sess, calm down.� You�re making me anxious,� Inuyasha said smiling at his brother.
He never thought he would see Sess
like this, he really wished he had a camera on him.� He looked back towards the door and smiled to
see Rin coming out with a basket of rose petals.� Sesshomaru felt his
heart swell.� His daughter looked so pretty
and she was happier than he had ever seen her.�
Next came Emerald and she smiled when she saw her mate standing next to
his brother and her new son next to him holding a pillow with the rings.� She felt her smile grow bigger at the thought
of how Inuyasha would react tonight when she told him
she was pregnant.� Sesshomaru�s
breath caught in his throat when Kagome finally came through the door.� She looked so beautiful and she was all
his.� Kagome smiled back and walked down
the aisle to her one true love, her soul mate.��
He had no idea of the surprise he was about to get.
The ceremony went perfect and Kagome felt her chest swell
with happiness as he slipped the ring on her finger.� He kissed her with just as much passion as he
had the first time.� She was so happy,
finally.� She had a family and a man who
truly loved her.� Rin
came up and hugged her and Kagome leaned down nodding to her that it was
time.� Rin smiled
brightly and turned to her father.
�Daddy, guess what?�
�What sweetie?� he asked watching the smiles grow brighter on
the only two women in his life.
�I�m gonna get a brother or a
sister,� Rin said cheerily jumping up and down.
Sesshomaru stood there in shock, what was she
talking about.� Kagome smiled, Emerald
had detected the faint scent a few weeks ago and Kagome had wanted to surprise him
so she had masked that part of her scent.�
Of course, she had Emerald check again a week later to be sure.� She was definitely pregnant and she had set
the wedding date about the time when Sesshomaru would
be able to tell how many and what gender their pups were.� She kissed him again and dropped the masking
smell.� Sesshomaru
was more shocked than what showed when he suddenly smelled the scent of their
pups.� He smiled at his mate and picked
her up swinging her around.
�How did you hide it from me?�
Why didn�t you tell me?� he asked holding her close.
�I wanted to surprise you.�
That is why I set the wedding for today.�
Now you should be able to tell me how many pups and what gender they
will be.�
�How did you know that I would be able to tell today?�
�Emerald, she told me when she first caught the small scent
change and later she could tell that they will be full demon so we set up the date
exactly when you could tell,� Kagome replied giving him another radiant smile.
He turned to Emerald, �You helped her plan this?�
�Guilty,� she said grabbing Inuyasha
and going to dance.
�Well?� Kagome asked drawing his attention back to her, �I
thought you would like this gift, so will you tell me?�
He looked back at her, �How can they be full demon though?�
�I researched and it seems that if a demon and a powerful miko mate then the miko has full
demon pups.� There is
even stories that some of those pups have the demons abilities and
strengths as well as the miko�s powers.� It is said that they are the most powerful demons
known,� she said, �Now will you tell me please?�
I also have one more surprise for you.�
Sesshomaru�s eyes widened,
another surprise?� At this point he didn�t
know how much more he could handle before he burst with joy.� He leaned forward and sniffed at her.
�There are two and their aura�s are
already powerful,� he sniffed again and smiled, �There will be one boy and one
girl.�
Kagome squealed in delight and jumped into his arms.� She would have a boy and a girl?� She could barely contain her joy long enough
to reveal the other surprise.� Sesshomaru was also ecstatic, he
was going to have pups in a few months.� His
mate had given him the best gift he could think of aside from being with him
forever.� Due to their mating she was now
immortal, just like him.
�So what�s the other surprise?� You�re going to kill me with all of this.�
Kagome pulled Rin to her and picked
her up.� She removed the mask she had put
on her and then handed her to Sesshomaru.� If it was possible his eyes widened even more
as he caught the change in her scent.
�How did you�?� he asked holding his daughter tight.
�I mixed a small piece of my soul with hers so that we will
never lose her to time, sickness or any other mortal worry,� she said looking
lovingly at her daughter.
Sesshomaru couldn�t believe it.� He had always feared the day when he would
lose his little girl due to her mortality, but now she was immortal.� He felt tears sting his eyes.� Kagome had given him everything he could ever
want.� It was hard to believe that there
had ever been a time when he thought that happiness was pointless.� He pulled his mate to him and held her and
his daughter close.� This kind of happiness
was rare and he knew it.� Everything in
his life was perfect.
XXXXXX
Emerald and Inuyasha watched the
whole thing from nearby.� Inuyasha was completely shocked, Sesshomaru
was actually crying.� Inuyasha
felt his own happiness increase, he would never lose his niece and he was going
to be an uncle again.� Sesshomaru deserved this happiness and Inuyasha
was happy for his big brother.� He saw
Kagome turn to him and Emerald and he smiled at her.� Emerald waved her arm at Kagome signaling that
it was time.� Inuyasha
saw Kagome nod and suddenly a new smell assaulted his nose.� He turned shocked to his mate and sniffed
again before passing out.
XXXXXX
Sesshomaru had watched the silent interaction
between Kagome and Emerald and was completely surprised when he watched his
brothers eyes widen as he turned to his mate and then fall to the ground unconscious.
�What the hell?� he said walking over to his brother and
Emerald.
Kagome followed behind laughing.� Sesshomaru realized
what had happened as soon as he got close to Emerald.� She was pupped as
well and must have had Kagome cover the scent to surprise his brother.� He poured water on Inuyasha
and helped him to his feet.� They all
laughed and congratulated each other.
�These women are trying to kill us,� Inuyasha
said to Sesshomaru later when they were alone.
�They just might if they have any more surprises for us,� Sesshomaru agreed getting up to collect his mate.
They were all happy and their family would be growing soon
enough.� Life was definitely about to get
a hell of a lot more interesting.
