Chapter 16
They stood across the field from each other, each held their
sword.� Kagome stood still waiting for
him to make his move and smirked when he did.�
Sesshomaru suddenly disappeared and just as he
appeared in front of her to swing she was gone.�
He felt a streak of fire across his back and turned to face his
opponent.
�You need to fight without holding back.� I will heal and we cannot risk you going easy
just because I am your mate,� Kagome said with a serious tone.
Sesshomaru knew what she said was true, but it
was hard for him to actually try to hurt his mate, it went against everything
his instincts said.� The male was never
to harm their mate, they were supposed to protect
them.
�Sesshomaru I know it goes against
your instincts, but you need to push them aside for now.�
Inuyasha and Kouga
both stood at the gate watching in complete shock.� Kagome had moved so fast they didn�t even see
her move to strike.� They continued to
watch in aww as the training continued.� Kagome sprang at Sesshomaru
and their swords clashed making noise so loud it sounded like thunder.� Sesshomaru freed
his sword and swung which Kagome easily ducked.
He managed to pin her to his chest as she rose up again and
the thought of their last fight flashed in his mind a few seconds too
late.� Kagome�s sword pierced her side
and went right into his stomach.� Sesshomaru cursed himself, he
should have been expecting that.� He
released her and backed off the blade as she pulled it out of her side.� Inuyasha and Kouga were completely shocked not.
�Sesshomaru I am surprised that you
let me get a blow in with that move again,� Kagome said smirking.
Inuyasha and Kouga
both caught their breath.� Again?� She
had stabbed herself before?� Kagome
charged Sesshomaru as if there was no pain from the
wound at all.� He swung and she easily
flipped over the blade, swinging mid flip at Sesshomaru.� He narrowly missed another cut across his
chest as he jumped back.� He struck again
as Kagome landed, but she used her sword to push it to the side so the sword
went through her shoulder.
All watching gasped in shock as she ran forward onto the
blade and stabbed Sesshomaru again in his side before
backing off the blade and jumping back to avoid the next swing.� Their swords continued to class and the
energy radiating off of both of them had everyone on edge.� They had never felt such immense power before.�
�Dragon Strike!� Sesshomaru
yelled holding his sword out.
�Miko�s Light!� Kagome yelled
crossing the swords.
Two orbs of power shot out and collided between the two.� The power however didn�t dissipate it
continued to flow to the middle causing a giant sphere of pure energy.
�Kagome!�
Sesshomaru!�
You know what is coming,� Bankotsu yelled from
where he stood watching.
The couple did not respond, but rather poured more energy
into the attack.� The sphere continued to
grow until it finally exploded sending debris everywhere.� Everyone present covered themselves as
quickly as they could.� When the dust
cleared all were surprised to see the two now fighting without their swords as
if the blast didn�t affect them at all.�
Kagome caught Sesshomaru�s fist as he swung at
her midsection, then swung back.�
Sesshomaru fell back a few steps as her
uppercut to his jaw almost knocked him out.�
He quickly recovered and jumped into the air.� Kagome smirked and jumped as well.� They continued to block each others blows as they fought in midair.� When they landed both
landed a blow to the others chest sending them both flying back.� Sesshomaru was
thrown to about a foot away from Toukijin and quickly
dashed for it.�
Kagome summoned a whip and swung it out to her own
sword.� The whip wrapped around it and
she pulled it to her.� She easily caught
the sword as it flew at her and swung it over her shoulder effectively blocking
Sesshomaru�s strike to her back.� She turned without her sword moving from the
block and they began their dance again.� Sesshomaru summoned his poison whip and swung.
Their whips collided, coiling around each other.� Kagome used the knot between the whips to
pull herself forward and punched Sesshomaru hard
enough in the chest to knock him down.�
When his vision cleared she was over him with her sword to his throat.
�I win this round, koi,� she said
smiling.
She put her sword away and helped him up.� Everyone watching were
in complete shock.� She had actually won
against Sesshomaru?�
They couldn�t believe it.� Kagome
and Sesshomaru walked to where Kouga
and Inuyasha� sat their jaws
hanging open.� Kagome laughed and closed
their mouths.
�What�s wrong with you two?� she asked.
�What do you mean, you just beat Sesshomaru in battle?�
How the hell did you manage that?� Inuyasha
asked coming to his senses.
Kagome just shrugged, �You two want to practice with your
combined attack now?�
They both shook their heads no as they noticed the blood
running down her side.� Did she feel no
pain?
�No we�ll practice with new techniques for now, we�ll try the
combination later,� Kouga said slowly standing.
He couldn�t figure it out, she was still the same Kagome and
yet she wasn�t.� She was so much stronger
now.� He pulled Inuyasha
up and they walked toward the field as Kagome and Sesshomaru
sat down where they had been.� Sesshomaru looked at Kagome and felt guilty at seeing her
wounded.� He pulled her into his arms and
nuzzled her hair to try and calm� himself.� He knew it had been necessary, but he still
hated it.
He was distracted at the sound of swords clashing in the
field.� Inuyasha
and Kouga were locked together in the center.� They both jumped back at the same time and
charged.� Swinging at each other and
matching blows.� Inuyasha
blocked Kouga�s swords and then with one hand punched
him in the face sending him sprawling back.�
Kouga quickly recovered and sprang back at
him.
They continued to exchange blows and after a minute they both
juped back and charged their swords for their
attacks.� They both swung at the same
time causing the earth to quake with the force of the attacks.
�Dragon Fire!�
�Tiger�s Roar!�
The energy shot at the opponent and collided with loud bang
in the center.� The attacks quickly
dissipated upon contact and the two were charging again.
�Bankotsu!� Kagome called out, �When they take a
break you three are against me.�
Bankotsu looked at her shocked for a minute
then smirked.
�You got it,� he said calling the two remaining members of
the Shichinintai to his side.
�No, Kagome.� They will
fight me, you still need time to heal,� Sesshomaru
said loud enough for them to hear.
�I�m fine,� Kagome said turning to him.
�No, they will fight me, besides if you watch you may be able
to tell better where they need improvement,� Sesshomaru
said with a tone of finalty.
Kagome sighed and nodded in defeat, then turned back to the
two in the field.� Inuyasha
and Kouga were still going strong, by now both had
their share of cuts and bruises.� They
had lost their swords at some point and were now fighting hand to hand.� Kouga had speed on
his side, but Inuyasha knew him well and could easily
outmaneuver him, plus Inuyasha could almost match his
speed.
Kagome was sure that if Kouga
didn�t have the shards they would be equal in speed.� Inuyasha managed to
dodge the attacks and even landed a few blows of his own.� They continued fighting for about an hour
before finally taking a break.� As they
walked back Sesshomaru and the Shichinintai
went to the field to begin.� Kouga and Inuyahsa sat down with
Kagome, one on each side.
They watched as Sesshomaru stood in
the center of the field and the Shichinintai
surrounded him.� He didn�t draw his
sword, he just stood and waited.� They
all sprang at him at once, their moves well coordinated.� He easily jumped out of their way and fought
each one back.� They recovered and
attacked again.� Jakotsu
swung with his trick sword and while Sesshomaru was
focused on that Bankotsu jumped over Jakotsu and swung Banryu at him.
Sesshomaru easily dodged the blow and punched Bankotsu in the stomach.�
Jakotsu and Suikotsu
both attacked at once.� They swung their
weapons together only to his air as Sesshomaru
disappeared only to reappear behind them and knock them both to the
ground.� Bankotsu
swung Banryu at Sesshomaru
and he caught the big halberd in his bare hand.�
He swung sending Bankotsu flying across the
field with Banryu.
Bankotsu called his men back and used Banryu�s ultimate attack.�
Lightning began to shoot down.� Bankotsu smirked, but it quickly faded when Sesshomaru easily sensed where it would strike and
maneuvered out of the way.� When the
attack was over Sesshomaru stood completely unscathed
by the attack.� Bankotsu
glared and called his men back to attack again as he landed in the field.
Bankotsu wanted nothing more than to wipe the
smirk off the arrogant lord�s face.� What
was with this guy?� Bankotsu
felt anger flood through him, it wasn�t bad enough that he had won the girl,
but he also had to be perfect in battle.�
They all attacked with more determination than before.� They easily moved as a unit, their attacks
perfectly coordinated due to years of practice.
They moved as one and yet still could not manage to get in a
single blow.� Kagome finally called for
them to break after a few hours.� She
knew that they were well coordinated,� but they had no chance of landing a
blow on Sesshomaru, especially now that they were
getting tired and frustrated.
�Well you can coordinate well and you all are good fighters,
but you need to work on your speed,� Kagome said smiling at them encouragingly,
�And you will need to work on your strength as well.� I figure you can train on each other to try
and improve those areas and then in a few days we can try a rematch.�
They all nodded in agreement.�
Bankotsu had come to the same conclusion about
strength after they had fought off Naraku and lost
some of their brothers and after fighting Sesshomaru
he knew they needed to work on speed as well.�
He was not mad at Kagome for her comments and his brother�s weren�t
either, in fact they were grateful for her advice.� Bankotsu stepped up
to Kagome and gently hugged her in thanks ignoring the growls from Sesshomaru.
�Thank you for the advice, we will train some more.� All of us are proud to be able to stand by
your side in the battle against Naraku,� he said as
he released her.
He had no problem taking orders from this tiny woman.� He admired her courage, strength and
loyalty.� Jakotsu
and Suikotsu bowed to her� before following Bankotsu
to begin their training.
�What was all of that about?� Inuyasha
asked watching them walk away.
�I think they thought that I would be worried about them being
angry for my comments,� Kagome said feeling the tension coming off Sesshomaru, �And I think Bankotsu
was also trying to get back at Sesshomaru in his own
little way.�
�That mercenary has challenged my claim on you since the
night I brought you here.� He wants you
for himself and is mad that you chose me,� Sesshomaru
said walking up behind her to wrap his arms around her waist.
She smiled and kissed his chin.
�We should probably go clean up,� Sesshomaru
said feeling the blood still lightly trickling from her wounds.
He picked her up bridal style and began to walk away,
ignoring her protests that she was perfectly capable of walking.� Inuyasha and Kouga watched the two disappear smirking,
they definitely made an interesting couple.�
As soon as they were out of sight Kouga pulled
Inuyasha to him and kissed him.� Inuyasha wrapped
his arms around Kouga�s neck and sighed into the
kiss.� Kouga
let out a low growl and picked up Inuyasha speeding
off to their room.
Inuyasha let out a yelp of surprise then
clung to Kouga as he sped through the palace.� Once they reached their room Kouga gently set Inuyasha on his
feet and proceeded to kiss him senseless only pulling back when they both
needed air.
�Kouga please,� Inuyasha
whispered breathlessly.
�Sorry, do you want me to stop,� Kouga
sais starting to pull back,
but Inuyahsa held him tighter.
�No, I don�t,� Inuyasha said
looking down and blushing, �I�I want to finish our mating.� I�m ready.�
Kouga looked shocked for a moment, �Are
you sure?� You don�t have to now if you
don�t want to.�
�I do want to.� I am
completely sure,� Inuyasha replied blushing brighter.
Kouga put a finger under Inuyasha�s chin and raised his face to meet his.� He smiled and started to kiss his perfect
little hanyou.�
He slowly reached up and began to take Inuyasha�s
clothes off, stepping back when Inuyasha was bare to
admire his beauty.� Inuyasha
blushed and looked down again fidgeting.�
He knew his body was disgusting and he was embarrassed, he started to
cover himself when Kouga spoke again.
�No, don�t,� Kouga whispered, �You
are so perfect, don�t hide from me.�
Inuyasha�s head snapped up at that, the
surprise evident on his face.� Kouga felt anger flow through him.� He knew Inuyasha
was self conscious and he also knew part of it was his fault.� His poor mate had been through so much and
now he thought he was just an ugly abomination.�
Kouga walked forward and wrapped his arms
around Inuyasha.�
He kissed him again as he slowly lowered him onto the bed.
He started to remove his own clothes as he trialed kisses
down Inuyasha�s neck and chest.� When he reached Inuyasha�s
nipples he gently pinched one while taking the other into his mouth.� Inuyasha moaned at
the new sensation flooding through him and hardened painfully.� Kouga brought three
fingers up to Inuyasha�s mouth and groaned as the hanyou started to suck on them.
By now Kouga had managed to
completely remove his clothes.� He took
his fingers out of Inuyasha�s mouth and claimed his
lips again as his fingers trailed down to Inuyasha�s
opening.� He slowly slid one finger into
the hanyou�s body careful with his claws.� Inuyasha gasped at
the feeling and Kouga hissed at how tight his mate
was.� He started to slowly move his
finger in and out of the hanyou.
Inuyasha yelped in surprise and pain as a
second finger entered him.� Kouga kissed him and gently started to scissor his fingers
trying to gently stretch and prepare his mate.�
Inuyasha�s back arched off the bed when kouga�s fingers suddenly brushed over something inside him
that sent jolts of pleasure shooting through his body.� Kouga grinned and
purposely stroked the spot again.
When Inuyasha arched off the bed
again he slid a third finger into him.� Kouga�s other hand wrapped around Inuyasha�s
shaft and began to stroke it as he continued to pump his fingers in him.� He continued to do this until he felt Inuyasha was about as ready as he was going to get.� He pulled his finger�s
out earning a sound of protest from Inuyasha.� He moved his body over Inuyasha�s
and lined himself up with his entrance.
He kissed Inuyasha and thrust into
him as fast as he could trying to minimize the
pain.� Inuyasha
cried out into his mouth and tensed.� Kouga held still and tried to calm him as he adjusted.� He kissed the tears away from Inuyasha�s eyes.� Inuyasha felt like he was being ripped apart, Kouga was huge.� He
tried to relax, but the pain was too much, he continued to whimper for a few
moments until the pain slowly started to fade.
� When the pain had
subsided he relaxed and experimentally moved his hips to test the pain.� When he felt none he looked up at Kouga and nodded that it was ok for him to continue.� Kouga kissed him
again and slowly pulled out until only the tip of his cock remained inside Inuyasha.� When inuyasha showed no signs of pain he thrust back in.� Inuyasha arched up
at the feel of Kouga thrusting into him.
He moaned at the feel of the huge cock filling him
again.� Kouga
started to move a little faster encouraged by Inuyasha�s

started to move with him and Kouga changed the angle

more and joined Inuyasha, shooting his seed deep into

Slowly they both came down from their peaks.� They both removed their fangs and licked the

pulled out of his mate and collapsed beside him, pulling him into his
arms.� They lay there catching their
breaths and drifted off into sleep.� Both
completely happy to be with the one they loved.
