Chapter 18: The Miracle

Rin finds out that she is with pup again! She tells Sesshomaru immediately so that they can celebrate.
It had been a month since Rin and Sesshomaru had made love. She had been expecting her monthly cycle to come the previous day but it had failed to arrive. Rin decided that perhaps she had miscalculated the days and that today was the proper day. She had been anticipating on waking up to her monthly visitor and had arose from bed quite early that morning. The first rays of dawn had just broken the sky as she padded into the hot springs to bathe. Rin pulled off her thin ivory sleeping kimono and inspected it to see if there were any traces of blood on it. When she failed to find any she furrowed her eyebrows. Then she slipped carefully into the warm bubbling waters and leaned back against the smooth heated marble. As she lay there relaxing she began to think about why she had not received her monthly cycle. Suddenly the only logical reason reached her brain and she sat bolt upright in the hot springs. �Oh Kami, I�m late because I�m pregnant!�
Rin quickly finished bathing and slipped back into her sleeping kimono. She raced back up stairs to her and Sesshomaru�s chambers to find that her mate was still sleeping peacefully. Rin jumped onto the bed making Sesshomaru groan in annoyance. �Rin, that�s enough!�
�Wake up Sesshomaru!� He pulled the blanket over his head and turned so that his back was facing her. She sighed heavily and then yanked the blanket down to his waist revealing his naked back. Sesshomaru looked over his shoulder glaring at her. �Get up!�
�Alright! I�m up! What the hell is so important that you cannot wait until the sun has finished rising?�
�Oh I don�t know, maybe the fact that I�m pregnant?� Sesshomaru sat bolt upright beside his mate in the bed and stared at her with wide unblinking amber eyes.
�Y-you�re p-pregnant?�
�That�s right. I�m two days late on my monthly cycle.� Sesshomaru pulled Rin into his arms and squeezed her as tightly as he could without hurting her.
�Oh Rin, you�re with pup! We�re having another pup!�
�Yes Sesshomaru, we�re having another pup.� He kissed her passionately and rubbed her still flat stomach gently.
�I love you Rin!�
�And I love you Sesshomaru.� The two lovers shared another kiss before they climbed out of bed.
�We should tell my father when he wakes up. He will be most pleased to know that he has another grandchild on the way.�
�Yes. Besides that little Amaiya needs someone else to play with around here Sesshomaru.�
�Ahh yes, my brother�s brat.� Rin gave Sesshomaru a stern look and he flashed her a toothy grin in return. �Sorry, I meant that in a nice way.�
�Sesshomaru, Amaiya is a very sweet girl. She loves you very much as well, you know that don�t you?�
�Yes. For some unknown reason the child just seems to have taken a liking to me even though I hardly have had anything to do with her in the whole six months that she has been alive.�
�Amaiya is going to be a beautiful woman when she grows up. I�ll bet that Inuyasha will hate it when she gets old enough to choose a mate.�
�Yes I agree, hopefully we shall be blessed with a son so I don�t have to worry about a daughter.� Rin chuckled at her mate�s remark. Down the hall in Inuyasha and Kagome�s chambers Kagome woke up feeling rather nauseous. She jumped out of bed and ran into the private bathroom quarters in their chambers. Inuyasha awoke to the sound of his mate vomiting. He quickly went to check on her. Kagome wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and then stood to face Inuyasha.
�Are you okay Kagome?�
�I am now.� She was a month pregnant with their second pup so Inuyasha knew that she was experiencing sickness due to her pregnancy. Kagome padded back over to t bed bed and sank down onto it carefully. Inuyasha joined her and draped an arm around her waist. Kagome smiled as her mate began rubbing soothing circles on her stomach. �Inuyasha?�
�Yes Kagome?�
�Do you still lust after me knowing that I�m pregnant with our second pup?�
�Of course I do. I had to pleasure myself last night because I wanted you so bad.�
�Do you want me now?�
�Kagome, you know we can�t.�
�There are other ways we could do it.�
�Are you sure Kagome?�
�Yes Inu, I want to feel you inside me.� Inuyasha watched as Kagome stripped off her sleeping kimono and then got on all fours. He removed his pants and took his place behind her on his knees. Kagome whimpered as she felt Inuyasha rub his hard erection against her backside. Then Inuyasha began to slowly push his thick member into Kagome�s tight anal orifice. �Because I don�t ever want you to forget that. I love you and Amaiya and our unborn pup more than anything in the whole world.�
�Oh Inuyasha, I love you so much! I�m so glad that I found you.� The two kissed and Kagome snuggled into her mate�s warm embrace. They soon fell asleep since they had grown so comfortable and warm laying there naked together. They would sleep until noon when a servant knocked on their door to ask them if they would be joining the rest of the family for lunch. Kagome and Inuyasha reluctantly untangled themselves from each other�s body and got dressed quickly. It would not look very good if they missed lunch for they had already slept through breakfast. Inuyasha led his beautiful mate downstairs. He glanced over at Kagome to see her holding their six month old daughter Amaiya. Amaiya was beginning to look more and more like Kagome every day to him. Her violet eyes were wide and bright and she always had a smile on her face. Amaiya was an incredibly happy child and she was extremely observant of everything. Kagome smoothed out Amaiya�s silky coffee bean colored hair and then planted a soft kiss on the baby�s forehead. Amaiya giggled at her mother making Inuyasha smile as well. They arrived in the great dining hall to find Lord Inutaisho, Sesshomaru, and Rin waiting on them. Once everyone was seated the servants began serving all of the family.
