Not wanting to eat with Kikyo this morning, Kagome grabbed enough
breakfast for two in the kitchen, thanked Ayame, then hurried to her room.
Passing by the living room, the doorbell rang. She paused and looked at it.
Thinking Kikyo was busy eating, she went to the door, opened it, then
nearly dropped the warmly wrapped bundle of food. "Hojo?!"
He smiled. "Glad to see me?"
For a second, Kagome thought of Inuyasha then nodded. "Yeah. I can't
believe you're here."
The boy raised a brow. "Can I come in?"
Surprised at herself for not thinking, she backed up. "Sure. Come in.
How are you?"
"I'm good. I missed you so much I just had to come visit you. I figured
you might be in school but I thought I'd take a chance. Are you staying
home today?"
As they walked into the living room, Kagome glanced at the stairs
once before sitting on the couch. "Yeah, I felt unwell so I decided to
go back on Monday."
Hojo sat next to her on the couch. "That's great. If Miss Kikyo lets
me stay for a few days, we can see each other alot."
Kagome winced inside. For some odd reason, she didn't want Hojo to stay but
he was her boyfriend and she shouldn't be thinking rude thoughts for
no real reason. "That....sounds great."

Kikyo smiled as they walked into the dining room. "Ah, Kagome. Is this
Hojo? I remember him from the pictures your mother sent."
Hojo gave a half bow. "Hello, Miss Kikyo. It is so nice to meet you.
Kagome's family has told me many good things about you."
The Miko waved a hand at the table. "Come, eat some breakfast and
chat for a moment for I must leave again later on another mission and
I may not return for a few days."
"Really?" Hojo said as he sat down at the table. "Then I must ask
you now...."
Kagome secretly sighed as she sat down by Hojo. Inuyasha said he was
hungry and she didn't want to dine with Kikyo.
"Ask me what?" Kikyo asked before sipping some tea.
"Miss Kikyo, May I stay a few days to see Kagome before heading back
home? I know it's short notice and all but I humbly ask for your gracious
hospitality."
"Of course you may stay for a few days." Kikyo gave an approving
nod. "There is a bedroom next to Kagome's. You can stay there."
Hojo, obviously happy, beamed at Kikyo. "Thank you, Miss Kikyo. Thank you."
Kagome smiled a bit at Kikyo. "Thank you, Kikyo, for your generosity."
"Think nothing of it. Now, lets talk before I have to leave."

Kagome halfheartedly chatted with Kikyo and Hojo while sitting at the
dining table for she couldn't help but think of the Hanyou upstairs in her
room. He was waiting on her. And...how was she going to explain the
half demon to Hojo?
When Kikyo finally stood and took her leave, Hojo turned to her.
"This is so great, Kagome. We get to spend time together. I'm so happy."
She half smiled. "Yeah, great. Uh. Hojo. I have something to tell you."
"What is it?"
There was only way to tell him so she just spit it out. "I have a half
demon in my room."
"What?!" He said loudly, startled. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you?
Should I go tell Kikyo so she can kill it?"
"No. No." Kagome tried to calm him down. "He is half demon and
half human. He won't hurt me. He is...uh...he is my.....well, he is
to help with my training, Kikyo says. So she let him stay with me."
He looked at her incredulous. "He? He? He's staying in your room?"
Kagome gulped. "Heh, heh, yeah. He's really harmless. Want to meet him?"
He seemed to calm down some and tried to smile. "I'm sorry, Kagome. I
overreacted. If Miss Kikyo allows it then I should be more open minded."
She relaxed. "Thank you, Hojo."

Inuyasha smelled him before the door even opened. He looked up from his
spot on the floor by Kagome's bed to see the face of the one Kagome claimed
to be her boyfriend, immediately recognizing him from the picture
on the night stand. He frowned at the floor, his face heating up from
some unfamiliar emotion.
"Inuyasha, This is Hojo, my boyfriend. Hojo, this is Inuyasha, the one
I told you about." Kagome introduced in a strained cheery voice.
"Shouldn't you have him tied up or in a cage or something? He
is a half demon after all. He might hurt you." Hojo exclaimed.
Inuyasha ignored the human male. He was just like all the other humans
he had ever encountered. They feared and distrusted him.
He heard the sudden irritation in Kagome's tone. "No. He doesn't need to
be tied up or in a cage. He is...He cannot hurt me. He stays here with me for...
protection. He's mi...."
Inuyasha pricked his ears. Did she almost tell the human that she claimed
him as hers?
The human male spoke up. "Well, I'm here right now and he doesn't have
to stay in your room if I am close by. Can't you put him somewhere else?"
He secretly hoped Kagome would refuse the human male and let him stay
in her room. He felt safer here, safer from Kikyo and safer for Kagome.
He could protect Kagome if she was close by.
"Well....I..." Kagome started before coming back with a solid reply.
"Really, he's suppose to stay near me for now. To help with my training.
Please understand, Hojo."
Kagome said his name in a sweetly laced whine. It made his stomach
twist in a knot to hear her almost beg the stupid human male. He
glanced up to see Kagome holding the male's hand and grinning up at him
with a sugary smile. Quickly, he looked away. The twisted knot in his
gut began to hurt.
"Okay, Kagome. Okay. For you, I won't say anything else. Lets go out.
Just you and me. Go to a movie or something. It's on me."
Inuyasha felt unstable, like the floor was falling out from under him.
He didn't want Kagome to go anywhere with the human male. Taking a secret look
at them, he wished Kagome would not go and stay here with him instead. He
knew it was a stupid wish and that he had no right to want Kagome....
Kagome looked down at him almost longfully. "I...I guess it will be alright.
Inuyasha will be okay by himself here. Won't you, Inuyasha?"
Inuyasha frowned at the floor and shrugged his shoulders. "Sure. I'll
be alright." He mumbled.

Kagome grabbed her purse then glanced at Inuyasha one more time before
letting Hojo tug her out the door. She took one last glance at her bedroom
door as they headed down the stairs, secretly hoping Inuyasha would be okay.
Hojo grinned as they descended the stairs. "I've missed you so much.
Where do you want to go to? The park? The museum? The zoo? A movie?"
"It doesn't matter." Kagome replied with a forced smile. "Whatever you
want to do is alright with me."

In the movie theatre, Hojo held her hand as they shared popcorn and
a coke. After the movie, they went for a stroll in the park. They had
walked for only thirty minutes when Kagome had to sit down on a bench
under a blossoming cherry tree.
"Sorry. I guess I'm still weak from being sick." Kagome breathed hard
while sitting down.
Hojo sat next to her. "You okay?" He asked, very concerned. "I'm sorry,
Kagome. I didn't realize. We can go back now if you want."
She nodded. "Just let me rest a bit and then we can go."

Inuyasha laid down on the floor after Kagome left. For a long time
he stared at the ceiling, thinking: rememebering how Kagome had tried to
set him free, how she had hugged him that first time, how...she had
hugged him just that morning. He could still feel her warm arms around him
and, how soft her lips were on his that one time.
He growled almost loudly. That stupid human male was with her now.
A very real feeling of anger burned from his gut to his chest. What
would they be doing together? Would he...touch her? Irritated, he stood
and went out the door, seeking relief from the feeling that made him
want to rip the human male to shreds.
Unfortunately, he nearly bumped into Kikyo who was standing at the door
holding a long black rope with a leather loop at the end of it.
She almost had a dark smile on her red lips. "Seems Kagome has left you
unattended. I can't have that. I can't have you running around getting
into trouble."
Inuyasha froze, not knowing what he should do. He couldn't run.
"Come, Hanyou."
Reluctantly, he followed the Miko.

Trailing behind the priestess, Inuyasha walked out the door to the back yard
garden. The brightness of the sun bathed almost every flower in white light.
She stopped a few yards away from from the house. "Sit!"
Glaring at the wench, he did as ordered and crouched on the ground.
Her cold hands slithered around his neck as she secured the leather band.
Inuyasha closed his eyes, knowing it was going to hurt. The band tightened,
cutting off his air. He tried to swallow but couldn't, tried to breathe
but couldn't.
"Beast, you don't deserve to live, but until I can find out who subjugated
you, I want to keep you alive. Soon, Kagome will no longer need to use you
and I will do with you as I please. Unless, that is, if Kagome doesn't kill
you in her training first."
Her words cut into him like the leather at his neck. He wanted to
growl, to yell at the hag and tell her to fuck off but he couldn't breathe,
let alone speak. He fell forward, scratching at the leather around his
throat.
Blackness began overcoming his mind. She was killing him.
Just as the blackness nearly took over, the leather loosened. He let out
a strangled cough. "Fucking wench!"
She began pulling him by the leash. "Come, hanyou."
On hands and knees, he crawled as she pulled him around the garden before
leading him into the house.

Inuyasha, too ashamed to look up, crawled through the back door to the
kitchen. Ayame was in the kitchen. He bit his lip, wanting to crawl under
a rock.
She led him through the kitchen, dining room, then down the hall to
her room. It had a wooden floor with a large reddish rug under the bed.
Kikyo tied the end of the black leather leash to her bed post.
She left only to return a moment later. "Sit up." He did as she
told him but glared up at her when he did so.
"Still defiant but not for long." She said while holding a wooden cup
out to him. "Drink this."
For several seconds he seethed. "Fuck no."

The dark light in her eyes settled to a deadly calm.
"Time to learn, hanyou, that your will is no longer your own."

Kagome let Hojo hug her goodnight before entering her room.
Finding Inuyasha missing, she searched the bathroom and most of the house
before heading to the kitchen. She found Ayame cooking the evening meal.
"Have you seen Inuyasha?" Kagome asked.
The wolf demon blinked in surprise once before nodding. "Yes, Miss. Kikyo
was with him earlier. I think she took him....to her room."
"Is Kikyo here? Didn't she leave?" Kagome asked the wolf.
"Yes, Miss. She left a couple of hours ago after taking the hanyou to
her room." Ayame said while stirring in a pot on the stove and not looking
directly at her.
Feeling a tinge of fear, Kagome quickly walked down the hall to Kikyo's
room and knocked. Hearing nothing, she reached for the door knob, paused,
then grabbed it and turned. The door quietly creaked open. "Inuyasha?
Are you in here?"
The room was dark, so Kagome turned on the switch.
"Inuyasha?"
He was lying on the bed, and he was....Naked?
Kagome slowly walked to the bed, taking in everything as some other emotion
was replacing that bit of fear.
Looking down at him, she noticed he wasn't completely naked but had
on some white underwear. There was also a leather collar
around his throat with a leash attached to it.
Yet, he seemed to be sleeping peacefully.
"Inuyasha?" She said, leaning over him.
He opened glazed amber eyes that were shadowed with a dark tint.
The half demon smiled and slowly sat up, his ears drooping. "My master."
She stood there, unable to step back, trapped by the color of his
gaze. "Inuyasha?"
On hands and knees, he bowed his head, the long silky white strands
touched her dress just above her navel. She swallowed, feeling a very strong
sensation spreading in her hips, making her weak.
"What do you wish of me?" He asked, shifting that dark amber gaze back
up at her. "Do you want....?" He paused and leaned up, his face close to
hers. Gentle finger tips traced up her neck and into her hair. His lips
brushed hers. "...me to please you?" His words were whisper soft and honey thick.
Kagome closed her eyes and let out a deep sigh as he placed slow hot wet
kisses from her ear all the way down to just above her breast.
"Ohhhh....Inuyaaaasshhhhaa."
