     Katelyn awoke the next morning her body aching in a good way. Her shoulder tingled and everytime she touched it she gasped it was that sensitive. She looked over at Naraku who had an arm around her waist and smile on his face as he slept. She attempted to move his arm from around her waist only to have him tighten in as he snuggled closer to her.
   "Naraku...." She said.
Naraku let out a groan as he moved away from her for the time being. She got up and dressed herself she looked in the mirror at the mark. The mark was big an unusual design was forming from the mark. She gently touched with her fingers only to hear Naraku moan from the bed.
   "Good morning." Naraku said with a smile as he sat up in bed.
"Morning, Naraku this mating mark you gave me....."
   "I can feel the sensation everytime you touch it Katelyn. I can feel your emotions and your desires...."
Katelyn blushed a little nervous that he can feel how she feels. "You're nervous I can hear your heart beat a kilometer a minute."
   "Um...."
   "But we're not done yet."
   "What do you mean? You already left the mark on me."
   "Yes I did, but we are only half connected to each other. You will have to leave your own mark on me Katelyn so we are  fully connected to each other. You'll be able to feel my emotions just as easily as I can feel yours."
   "Just how the heck am I suppose to do that? My teeth aren't sharp enough to leave that kind of mark."
"True, here let me show you something." He said as he grabbed a book off the shelf. He opened the book and turned the pages Katelyn came over and looked over his shoulder. The pictures in the book were of demons and humans successfully mated with each other. The human in some pictures just bit into the shoulder of the demon, others cut at the shoulder with a knife and then placed their mouth on it, and others after cutting at the shoulder, cut themselves to mix the bloods together.
   Katelyn still wasn't sure how all this worked properly. "So what do you want me to do?"
"Bite me Katelyn. Bite me hard!"
    She would have made a comment to how he said that, but decided to get this over with. She looked at Naraku's left shoulder where he wanted her to bite him. She gently kissed the shoulder before she bit into it as hard as she could. Naraku moaned feeling her teeth. "Oh Yes Katelyn harder!"
   She tried again biting down on that shoulder as hard as she could. "OOh Katelyn!" he moaned with pleasure.
   She suddenly felt blood enter her mouth she pulled away and looked at the small wound she left on his shoulder. Will this small wound be permanent like mine? she thought as she licked up the blood with her tongue making Naraku shiver. Naraku then dug at the small wound making it as big as the mark he left on her.
Katelyn watched as blood gushed from his shoulder. "Katelyn for this to work properly I need some of your blood."
"Um...Okay." She said nervous about all this however, she trusted Naraku. She picked up a knife and sliced at her wrist. she winced with pain as it stung Naraku felt it too by the look on his face. So her pain was his pain?
   She placed her bleeding wrist on his shoulder and watched as his blood mixed with hers. She looked eyes going wide as the blood from his wound slowed until it stopped completely. The wound closed up leaving a mark similar to hers with an odd design as she looked at it the mark was in the shape of her pendent. She could hear a heart beat that she knew wasn't hers. She looked up at Naraku who smiled at her.
He grabbed her wrist that she cut and licked the wound with his tongue. When she pulled her wrist away the wound was gone as if she never cut her wrist. "Well my dear what do you say we head to the well today."
   She could feel that he was sincere. She looked on in the mirror Naraku standing right behind her. Her parents certainly weren't going to like this at all. She was excited at first just to see the look on her poor mother's face. Now she wasn't sure how to feel.
"Your beautiful Katelyn. Don't worry so much things will turn out just fine." She heard Naraku say in her head. She nodded slowly. She finished getting ready to go making sure she had everything.
"What's this Katelyn?" Naraku asked.
She looked over her shoulder "That's my MP3."
"Your what? What does it do?" He asked curiously.
"Its just music, here let me show you." She said as she placed the headphones on his ears and pressed play.
Naraku gave a wierd look as noise came out from the thing she put on his ears. Katelyn looked down at the song being played and realized it was song in English. "Oh sorry here let me see if I can find a song that you might know the words too."
She searched until she found Suteki Da Ne that will have to do for now. Naraku listened to soft melody being played it was beautiful. After the song ended he took off the headphones "Fasinating little device you have there Katelyn."
   "Thank you."
    The two of them left Naraku leaving a note for Kagura of where she could find her heart. It was a beautiful day for this walk back to the well. Katelyn felt at ease with herself as she walked side by side with Naraku. By late afternoon they reached the bone eaters well. Katelyn began to wonder how this would work properly would she be able to get back to the present and would Naraku be able to come with her.
She looked down the well. "Hold it!"
Inuyasha and the others surrounded Katelyn and Naraku at the well. "While Inuyasha how nice to see you all this day." Naraku said with a smile.
Inuyasha's nose cringed as the scent of the two of them mated hit his nose. "You sick bastard!"
   "Something wrong?" Naraku asked innocently.
   Kagome didn't know what to think. She knew what happened Akira mated with her enemy for what out of spite? "Akira..."
"Katelyn!" she snapped at her cousin. "Why can't you be happy for me for once Kagome?"
   "I don't know Katelyn maybe because you always pick guys who are clearly bad for you."
  "Heh your one to talk Kagome."
"WHat does she mean by that?" Inuyasha asked through gritted teeth.
Kagome ignored her cousin's statement completely. "Inuyasha is there a way to remove such a mark?"
"Yes, there's always away." Inuyasha said with a smile. Kill Naraku the mark on her cousin would eventually fade, their were other ways to remove the mating mark other then killing the mate.
   They attacked Naraku head on. Kagome pulled her cousin away from Naraku as her comrades ganged up on him. "Let go of me Kagome! Naraku needs me."
    "Don't be ridiculous! Come on I'm taking you back home."
   Naraku could feel her anger at her cousin as well as her fear for his well being. He moved swiftly missing the attacks from Inuyasha. Miroku decided to use his wind tunnel to suck him into the curse he left on his family. Oh the irony there. Katelyn looked on in horror as she elbowed her cousin in the ribs to help Naraku in any way she could.
Miroku saw her coming he cursed himself as he closed up his wind tunnel. He was so close too. She helped Naraku back up on his feet as she glared at the party. "You ought to be ashamed of yourselves isn't this a little unfair five against one?"
"Heh that bastard doesn't deserve for the fight to be fair. He's taken advantage of situations like this." Inuyasha said.
   Katelyn squeezed Naraku's hand reassuringly. If only she wasn't so niave his plan was working so well too, but no perhaps he should end it. He doesn't want to see her of all people get hurt. However she was stubborn and he rather liked that about her. "Lets go!" She said as she jumped in the well hand in hand with Naraku.
  "I fear what my time will be like with Naraku in it." Kagome said.
"Well what are we waiting for Kagome lets go." Inuyasha said.
Kagome and Inuyasha followed them down the well. Miroku, Sango, and Shippo looked at one another in disappointment they wouldn't get the pleasure of destroying Naraku. "Sango!"
Sango turned in the direction of the forest. She rubbed at her eyes in disbelief as her brother Kohaku was running towards her a smile on his face.

A/N Next chapter should be fun how Naraku deals with the present of the 21st century :)
