They stopped only once. He gave her just enough time to eat and to take care of any personal needs before they were off again.
It was late at night when they finally stopped. This time it was another large home, but it had been abandoned. The roof was collapsed in many areas, but the porch was clean and in good condition. It overlooked a lake.
He landed lightly, and then he set her down.

She glanced up slightly, and saw his eyes were open and unblinking, focused on her.

He raised his hands, and she prepared for the worse, but he didn’t do what she expected. He began to slowly caress her hair.

He waited, and she moved slowly.
Kneeling in front of him she slowly tugged at the sash that held his kimono in place. As it came loose, she stared directly ahead, so as the fabric came loose, she saw the pale skin of his chest first.
Carefully, she pulled the kimono off of his shoulders and sank back to her knees as it pulled on the floor.
