Introductory note from Author
Some of you may have read my lemon "Red and Amber" on this site, which is a scene out of this story. There seemed to be an expressed interest in reading the whole story by some people, so here it is...
I don't own anything about Inuyasha (although my hands are fairly itching to get a hold of him...). Unfortunately for me, and probably you, he belongs to Takahashi Rumiko.
Anyway, I wanted this story to be a little different. Everyone always wants Kagome and Inuyasha to get together because of love; but in reality, love is not the governing force of the world. Instincts, lust, and friendship are much stronger, each in their own separate ways. That's what this story is about. So when I mention love in here, more often than not I mean the type of love between friends. However, Kagome's thoughts will be centered around real love sometimes. It's pretty fast paced, but that's because I'm concentrating on the relationship rather than everything else that's going on. Also, this is a songfic. The song is "Haunted" by Evanescence. (Fallen is a GREAT CD and I highly recommend it to anyone!) This song fits my ideas for this story in so many ways and from so many different perspectives. I hope you all can understand what I feel when I hear this song and write this story, and please enjoy! ^.~
Couple Side Notes:
1) I've currently seen both movies and through episode 126; so there might be spoilers in this story for some of you. Read at your own risk.
3) I have no idea when my next update will be. I do plan on finishing this, but I make no promises. Reviews will encourage me to write faster (although I am not one of those people that only posts if I receive a certain amount of reviews), but I am very involved in community activities and work, and I do want to have a life with my friends. Besides, I don't want to have to f mys myself to write if inspiration isn't hitting me, because then the story will turn out like crap. I want to write at my own pace and when creativity hits me. So once again, read at your own risk.
